Ep. 963 - If you listen to either head coach Jonathan Gannon or defensive coordinator Nick Rallis, they both have been pleased with the season-long play of Darius Robinson. The stats, though, haven’t always been there. Until Sunday. On Sunday, Robinson had arguably his best game of his career. Craig Grialou and Darren Urban - yes, we got @Cardschatter on the show - discuss what they saw, the impact Robinson made, and what that may mean for Robinson heading into next season, especially given the uncertain status of Walter Nolen III. Also, Craig and Darren talk about the challenge this week for cornerbacks Will Johnson and Denzel Burke, provide an update on Budda Baker, and explain maybe why the Cardinals have two kickers on the active roster.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 172 - Luis Hernández y Rolando Cantú analizan el penúltimo juego de la temporada regular cuando los Cardenales visiten Cincinnati un duelo en la jungla ante los Bengals y las claves para buscar la victoria.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Paul Calvisi has a plan for his Christmas shopping, because he hasn’t done it yet. (Yikes.) But beyond that, he is ready to join Darren Urban and Dani Sureck to talk about Calais Campbell’s kick-blocking heater, the end of the Falcons’ loss, the consistency of finishing drives, getting the ball to Trey McBride, Michael Wilson and Marvin Harrison Jr., Getting Cultured, the timeline of losing Walter Nolen III and Garrett Williams, the young defenders playing better, Paul’s favorite car movie, defending Joe Burrow, Winning Behavior, and Dani dominating her family.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Cardinals battled until the final whistle but came up short once again, falling 26-19 to the Atlanta Falcons in the home finale at State Farm Stadium. Craig Grialou, Paul Calvisi, and Zach Gershman look back on the Week 16 matchup, including the devastating injuries to Garrett Williams and Walter Nolen III and how a growing injury list can impact a locker room. The guys also discuss Michael Wilson’s continued rise within the offense, the Cardinals’ fast start followed by second-half struggles, Darius Robinson jumping off the tape, and Trey McBride and Budda Baker earning Pro Bowl honors. Plus, a look ahead to how the Cardinals defense can try to slow down Joe Burrow and the Cincinnati Bengals’ passing attack.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 962 - A much better start. A much better run game. But not a much better result. On Sunday, the Cardinals lost their home finale and lost more players to injury. Craig Grialou and Paul Calvisi discuss what they saw during the 26-19 loss to the Atlanta Falcons. There were some good moments, including scores on the first four offensive possessions, which was a first this season. And then there were some not-so-good moments, specifically Garrett Williams and Walter Nolen III carted off the field with what appeared to be devastating injuries. Through it all, the Cardinals battled and gave themselves a chance to win in the end, but just not enough plays were made to stop what is now a seven-game losing streak.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Dave Pasch and A.Q. Shipley provide instant reaction to the Cardinals 26-19 loss to the Atlanta Falcons in Week 16 at State Farm Stadium. Plus, Paul Calvisi conducts exclusive locker room interviews with tight end Elijah Higgins and head coach Jonathan Gannon.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 961 - Sunday marks the end of the 20th season of Arizona Cardinals football at State Farm Stadium. The Cardinals won their first home game back in Week 2. Can they win their last home game here in Week 16? Standing in the way: the Atlanta Falcons. Craig Grialou and Zach Gershman break down the matchup on Sunday, take a look at the injury report - there’s both good news and not-so-good news - and, of course, head into enemy territory. The great D. Orlando Ledbetter joins the show. He’s the long time Falcons beat writer for The Atlanta Journal-Constitution. The Falcons are flying high after last week’s win at Tampa. Here’s hoping they get grounded this week.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 747 - Markus Golden spent nine seasons chasing quarterbacks in the NFL. On Thursday’s Big Red Rage, he reunited with the Bird Gang at Flanker Kitchen and Sports Bar on the Great Lawn at State Farm Stadium. Golden joined Paul Calvisi and Ron Wolfley to reflect on his favorite moments from his Cardinals career, the origins of his relentless motor and “Keep Hunting” mentality, the success of former teammate Trey McBride, and more. The show also featured offensive lineman Kelvin Beachum, who discussed being named the Cardinals’ Walter Payton Man of the Year nominee, what winning the league-wide award would mean to him, his new children’s book, and why the final weeks of a challenging season matter for both young players and veterans.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 960 - Disruptive. Ask the head coach. Ask the defensive coordinator. Ask his teammates. That’s how they all describe Walter Nolen III, who in a short amount of time has made an impact on the field. Craig Grialou and Dani Sureck discuss what they’ve seen from the rookie defensive tackle and ask what the ceiling may be for him. Nolen is one of a handful of players to keep an eye on over the last three games. Others include offensive lineman Jon Gaines, who has played well at left guard; running back Michael Carter, who may be RB1 for the rest of the regular season; and wide receiver Marvin Harrison Jr., who - good news, Bird Gang - returned to practice on Wednesday.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Paul Calvisi isn’t about being on time, but he’s all about the temperature - he’s on to Cincinnati. OK, first there is the Falcons and the last home game of the season. Chatting with Darren Urban and Dani Sureck, the trio talk the trajectory of Trey McBride and what he could be if he keeps playing like the best tight end in the league, the Falcons and their weapons, the solid play of the inexperienced offensive line, Getting Cultured, what we are watching the last three games (Nolen, CBs, OL), the injury-ravaged RBs, a Wise Guy that chases waterfalls, J.G.’s look to the future, Winning Behavior, and Darren’s Twitter derailment.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Cardinals dropped their sixth straight game on Sunday, losing 40-20 to the Houston Texans at NRG Stadium. Craig Grialou, Paul Calvisi, and former NFL linebacker Rob Fredrickson break down the early mistakes and big plays that proved costly in the loss. Despite the setback, Trey McBride turned in another career performance, finishing with 134 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Up next is the home finale Sunday at State Farm Stadium against the Atlanta Falcons. Can the Cardinals wrap up their home slate with a win?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 959 - Historic. That’s how you sum up Trey McBride’s performance on Sunday. Craig Grialou and Paul Calvisi go over some of the numbers, Paul details what he saw from the sideline, and both wonder out loud how to best feature McBride, Michael Wilson and, when healthy, Marvin Harrison Jr. Individually, McBride, this week’s Angry Bird Award winner, is having a fantastic season. Collectively, he and his teammates have struggled to find wins. Craig and Paul look back at the 40-20 loss at Houston: from falling behind by two scores before the first offensive snap, not generating enough pressure on Texans quarterback C.J. Stroud to the mistakes made on special teams. Add it all up and you get a sixth straight loss.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Dave Pasch and A.Q. Shipley provide instant reaction to the Cardinals 40-20 loss to the Houston Texans in Week 15 at NRG Stadium. Plus, Paul Calvisi conducts exclusive locker room interviews with running back Michael Carter and head coach Jonathan Gannon.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 958 - Last week, it was the second-ranked defense. This week, it’s the top-ranked defense. In other words, Jacoby Brissett has been and will once again be challenged as he and the Cardinals head to Houston in Week 15. Craig Grialou and Zach Gershman preview Sunday’s matchup against the Texans. Their discussion begins with an injury report - spoiler alert: five players, and not just any five players but five starters will not play - and then continues as Craig and Zach venture into enemy territory. John Harris joins the show. He covers the Texans for HoustonTexans-dot-com plus he’s the team’s sideline reporter.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 746 - In the 2025 offseason, the Cardinals replaced longtime color analyst Ron Wolfley with former center A.Q. Shipley. On Thursday’s Big Red Rage, the two appeared together on stage at Flanker Kitchen and Sports Bar on the Great Lawn at State Farm Stadium. Wolfley, Shipley, and sideline reporter Paul Calvisi discussed the Cardinals’ tough loss to the Rams and their upcoming road game against the Houston Texans. They also covered A.Q.’s transition into broadcasting, memorable moments from his playing career, Michael Wilson’s growing role in the offense, and Trey McBride’s emergence as one of the NFL’s top tight ends.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Ep. 957 - Trust is earned, and Michael Wilson has earned the trust of his coaches and teammates. Craig Grialou and Dani Sureck discuss what they’ve seen from Wilson during his stretch as WR1, relay what they’ve heard others say about Wilson’s elite production and then try to forecast what’s next for the third-year pro out of Stanford. Plus, there’s good news and not so good news on the injury front; Walter Nolen III was back at practice on Wednesday, but Marvin Harrison Jr. was not. In fact, there were a number of players missing from practice. Also, some unfortunate news on running back Trey Benson. He will not return this season.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Yes, Paul Calvisi is talking about the Purge movies again, but there is a reason - could this be the year where the NFL postseason purges all the annual favorites? Mayhaps. In any case, he joins Darren Urban and Dani Sureck to discuss that first drive against the Rams (and what came next), Michael Wilson’s epic games continue, dealing with Puka, facing the talented Texans defense, the current Cardinals offensive identity, Paul’s new favorite ep of Getting Cultured, Kyler gets shut down, an amazing Wise Guy, Houston as a road venue, some college football (non-)Winning Behavior, Cardinals on the Pro Bowl list, and a deserving Walter Payton MOY pick.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Craig Grialou, Paul Calvisi and former NFL linebacker Lorenzo Alexander try to make sense of the Cardinals’ 45–17 loss to the Los Angeles Rams on Sunday at State Farm Stadium. The Rams rolled up 530 yards of total offense, including 249 on the ground, while the Cardinals stalled after a promising start. The injury issues also keep piling up, as left tackle Paris Johnson Jr. reportedly may miss time with a knee injury. There were a few bright spots. Wide receiver Michael Wilson continues to emerge with Marvin Harrison Jr. sidelined, recording his third 100-yard performance in four games. Tight end Trey McBride also tied the NFL record for most consecutive games by a tight end with five or more catches. Next up is the Houston Texans. How can the Cardinals match up against their elite defense?See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Think there is a lot of fans who are cautiously reserved about 2019 season (after the chosen Rozen fiasco) but hopefully Wolfe is right about the schemes and offensive upgrades.
