Aurora police arrested James Toliver Craig, 45, on Sunday March 19th. He was booked in jail around 2 a.m. on a charge of first-degree murder after deliberation in connection with the death of his 43-year-old wife Angela Craig, who died in a hospital Saturday.

The final texts between Angela Craig and her husband Dr. James Craig. She is admitted to University Hospital for the last time. Jim Craig's business partner approaches a nurse and inquires about whether they've checked for poisoning and Aurora PD detectives obtain a search warrant. Just over 48 hours later, Angela would pass away.

This session provided more clear direction on the next steps - particularly the Preliminary Hearing now slated for June 2. This will be the hearing where the judge rules if there is "probable cause" to bind the defendant over for trial.
