As a RC who grew up in the 70s with bigoted Irish priests I ask what did they expect. Complain about the shoot to kill of murderers or a dirty war against killers... send them to hell. Gods peace for the people of NI
This was riviting! Sophia has done extensive research and put herself in great danger to collect information for this excellent and important podcast. I would highly recommend both podcasts (the one on Xi Jinping as well as her podcast on Hong Kong).
It’s horrible that these women were deceived, but one of them became pregnant AFTER learning he wasn’t who he claimed to be. She’s an idiot.
Top notch podcast, 11 out of 10
Episode 2 of season 2 is also ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ . I remember reading about this at the time, during the first years of my teaching career. Working in a school with a residential boarding facility. However I didn't realise how early in the 1980s, knowledge about infected blood became known. This is truly shocking. A superb piece of investigate journalism.
Having listened to this first episode of season 2 of Bed of Lies, I am extremely impressed with the quality of the reporting. I will certainly be following the series. This is a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ quality, though extremely disturbing piece of journalism.
After rating episode 1 as ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, I must give this episode the same. Without wishing to under value the despicable removal of media freedom which underpins this podcast. I find disturbing parallels with the behaviour of several mainstream media in the UK in recent times. Control of the media by the state is fundamentally wrong.
After listening to this 1st episode, I am looking forward to the rest of the series. I like the calm style of the presenters. Although I remember reading articles and seeing news reports, I didn't realise just how draconian the new imposed laws really were. Extremely disturbing, but I rate this podcast as ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ because I already feel better informed about an issue about which I knew very little.
Absolutely extraordinary and appalling story. Very well put together. I will follow the inquiry as it happens.
excellent, riveting podcast
FFS this is disgusting behaviour by the MET, every new revelation is worse than the last!! I cannot believe that this is all true and that it happened to so many women over so many years. It would be very very hard to ever trust another person. I hope all these women are able to find some peace, they deserve it.
4 episodes in and I have found this to be a fascinating podcast. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Given some of the things that have been happening during 2020, in terms of the way 'The State' behaves towards us, perhaps I'm not quite as surprised as I should be 😒
