That day became known as Juneteenth, short for “June Nineteenth.” Families and communities began celebrating with music, food, and joy. Today, Juneteenth is a national holiday that honors the end of slavery and reminds us to keep working for equality and justice.

Amazing and inspirational podcast about the strong woman who changed the world history with her strength and power. I have researched a lot about Rosa Parks for one of my college projects and here https://gradesfixer.com/free-essay-examples/rosa-parks/ I have read a few interesting facts that make me even more involved into the topic. I am sure that my final project will be also devoted to the civil rights movement and Rosa Parks as its main character.
Thanks, great to teach English.
