Salk opens the show by giving the Seahawks their well deserved praise for another phenomenal defensive showing in the Seahawks win over the Jets, as they have now played that way for four straight games. Then, they go Around The NFL with stories around the NFC West, along with the Bears, Steelers and more.
Brock Huard discusses why Demond Williams should start this weekend at Oregon and discusses some of Dan Lanning's pyshcological tactics in Washington Wednesday. Then, we dig into Daniel Jeremiah's comments on how Tyrice Knight and Ernest Jones have helped the Seahawks defense and we have another round of Mean Tweets for Brock.
The hour starts by listening to some hilarious voicemails for the weekly edition of Here's The Thing. Then, Daniel Jeremiah of the NFL Network makes his weekly appearance on the show to talk Seahawks, what's changed for them defensively how good Devon Witherspoon has been and more.
Brock and Brady Henderson of ESPN react to Mark Sanchez's comments about Devon Witherspoon being one of the best football players he's ever seen. The two spin their own thoughts on it as well. Then, they go Around The NFL with stories from the Giants and Malik Nabers, Daniel Jones, Aaron Rodgers and more. In Blue 88, topics include Geno Smith's contract, the upcoming UW-Oregon matchup and the confidence around the Seahawks building.
Maura and Lyle host the first hour of the show and begin by reacting to Rich Eisen's prediction about the Seahawks going 3-3 the rest of the way and missing the playoffs. They don't agree and explain why. Then, they re-air Brock and Salk's conversation with Mark Sanchez of FOX Sports in which he explains what he saw in the Seahawks win over the Cardinals, their upcoming matchup with the Jetes and gives some extremely high praise to Devon Witherspoon.

Then, former NFL quarterback Mark Sanchez (now of FOX Sports) joins the show to discuss what he saw in Sunday's Seahawks win over the Cardinals, along with previewing this upcoming week against the Jets, which he will also be on the broadcast for.
Brock and Salk watched the Ravens-Chargers Monday Night Football game and drew some comparisons to the Seahawks. Due to how Seattle has been playing as of late, Salk admits he wasn't jealous watching that game. And it all boils down to physicality. They also react to the amount of times that Mike macdonald used the word "confidence" in their conversation on Monday and discusses why confidence is still so important, even at football's highest level. In Blue 88, Brock takes a look at the Seahawks run game, Seahawks PFF grades and the Monday Night Football game.
Salk reacts to the Mariners changing their coaching staff and adding Kevin Seitzer as their new hitting coach, while also admitting that he's itching to see the Mariners start making some moves. Embarrassing game that should make the fan base wake up and revolt. Stanton should never be allowed to show his face near T-Mobile without drawn and quartered. oh, and another thing, the CCs suck and should be demolished on the pitchers' mound in a Disco demolition night inspired sacrifice to the Baseball Gods for forsaking this decent city for so long.
5 great pitchers can get you to the playoffs even with a league average offense, but only in the National League.
