A lot like the last few days, there hasn't been too much to report on. So I'll tell you about what little I know of the action and get you up to speed about the deer rut that's taking place right now for all of you hunters out there!
I mistakenly titled yesterday's fishing report with today's date! Just realized that, my mistake. But TODAY is the 15th and, a lot like yesterday, not a super active fishing day BUT there were fish caught in a few different areas. I'll talk about that and the importance of creating a "float plan" in this report.
Still waiting for a fishing bounce-back from the last few days of nasty weather. Not a whole lot to report on but we're gonna talk so listen up!
As you've probably guessed there wasn't any fishing done this past weekend (none that I saw at least), but I will get you up to speed with what was being caught and what will likely be caught on all fronts once we get on the other side of this nor'east blow!
As expected the offshore fishing was non-existent due to the winds but there was some action in the surf, off the piers and a tad in the back country. I'll talk about that and the weekend outlook in this report.
Seems as if a seafood platter was brought back to the docks between the offshore and back country boats. Pier and surf fishing was a tad scrappy but not bad at all. I'll talk about all that and this weather system that's beginning to brew up to our south in this report.
Still kind of a mixed bag of fish all over, with some improvements to note! I'll talk about that and how this is going to be your last best day to fish for a while! Mother nature isn't being too kind to us right now!
There's good news and not so good news: The good news is we are back fishing on all fronts with a mixed bag of catches... The not so good news is it doesn't look like its gonna last long with the weather kicking back up at the end of this week. I'll get you up to speed with all of this in this report.
Offshore over the weekend was mediocre at best... but the back country was where you wanted to be! I'll get you up to speed with what all went down over the weekend in this report.
Capt. Marty & Justin take the show on the road to A&W Sales in Pintetown, NC right outside of Belhaven. They are joined by Mr. Shane Griekspoor, new owner of Radcliffe Marine in Belhaven, Mr. Wayne Howell & his wife Sarah of A&W Sales and avid hunter, outdoorsman and local longtime friend William Boyd. They cover the spectrum of outdoor motors, BadBoy mowers, Farm Days on October 11th, Howell's Mercantile and a little about the hunting scene in that area. To learn more a...
Kind of the same song and dance today in the report, however things are looking brighter for the weekend! I'll talk about what has been caught and what could potentially be caught over the weekend in this report.
As you probably expected there isn't much to talk about on the fishing front, however I do want to remind you of where I will be today! I hope you'll make the trip to Seed Tick Neck Rd. in Pinetown to say hello and hang out with myself the fine folks of A&W Sales/Howell's Mercantile & Radcliffe Marine. I'm doing my fishing show LIVE from their location. Come say hello!
As you've probably already guessed the wind definitely didn't help things on the fishing front, however I do still have a few things to report on so listen up!
We're all keeping our eyes on the southeast and watching those storms head on off into the Atlantic (thank the Lord). It's made for some rough seas so our offshore fleet didn't quite make it out yesterday but our back country fishing made up for it! I'll talk about that and remind you of where I will be doing my LIVE show from on Thursday!
Pretty decent weekend of fishing, although some folks had to work a tad hard than others. Still a solid weekend all the way around. Gonna talk about that and where I will be doing my fishing show from this coming Thursday in this report.
Still sold fishing taking place in the ocean and in the sound. I got your full report plus a weekend outlook. I also want to invite you to our LIVE recording of the Capt. Marty Show at A&W Sales in Pinetown next Thursday October 2nd at 10:30am. I will be talking more and more about that as we get closer to that date. Have a wonderful weekend and may the good Lord bless you!
From a week ago where there was no fishing happening offshore to RECORD BREAKING fishing offshore happening right now! Literally, record breaking! Listen to this report and I'll give you the run down!!
There was fishing done on all the Outer Banks fronts yesterday, but in some cases folks had to work for what they caught. I'll explain it all in this report.
It was a tad on the breezy side for the offshore fleet but there was still fishing taking place in other areas that yielded pretty solid results in a mixed bag of catches! Listen and I'll get you up to speed!
Fishing was hot and cold this weekend... what do I mean by that? Listen to find out all of what went down in the deep!!
