the second story is gold! (starts around 00:53:00)
first story narrator is no good
Sorry, but a small sip of diluted rat poison would not immediately kill someone.
So it's a mimic from D&D.
The writing in That Abominable Sound is truly... abominable.
With almost 20 minutes of ads this episode is only. a little more than 20 minutes, and STILL, such disappointing content, I think this is THE most Inane, typical, asinine episode I have yet to hear, even worse than all of the recycled content from the other shows in the Network. Seems to be nowhere for podcast's to go but downhill, AWW SHUCKS!!!
can't tolerate this narrator
The real horror of Unconscious Objection was how long it dragged on. I thought it would never end. Tedious.
I'm from Scottsbluff, I got out thank God, although very few do, and if they make it out they almost always come back..... that place is hell on earth, a real Dead end place, flat and dry, where people consider it stupid to think and nobody walks anywhere, no matter how close ( unless you're drunk and want another King Cobra, hahaha). My wife worked at Regional West medical center there and just BTW if someone needs extra medical care they would be shipped to Denver CO, not Omaha, but good story, fckin Scottsbluff, I'm glad I left that place behind...... almost 10 years ago!!!
the narrator is SSOOOOOOO BAD at pronouncing words I'm sure we learned by high school... I got my GED at 16 and learned all my vocabulary from reading......a Narrator should know the meaning and pronunciation of KEY words, I have noticed this very thing in a lot of show's, so don't feel too ashamed!!!😁
that first story was so cool, that is what horror is about, been awhile since a story stuck out
hmm...kind of a shitty way to advertise betterhelp...why have an ad for therapy if you're going to he such an asshole about it?
episode 60 has a repeat story.
Why do narrators on this show wet their consonants so much? It sounds phony, artificial, and unappealing. It takes me out of the story when the narrator must try to annunciate every single consonant in every single word even though English as a spoken language has no such convention among any of its regional speakers. It truly pulls the listener out of the story. This particular narrator's artifice can really drone on incessantly. A story as long as this isn't horrific because it's horror. It is torture because the speaker had no personal appeal. I literally root for his character to be torn to pieces so that he will just stop talking in that artificial cadence.
OHHH SHIT !! that was epic!
repeat stories start around episode 50.
This must be the first story I've heard Luiz Bermudez narrate that he didn't sound like he was on the verge of bursting into tears.
great scary story pod cast ...Just Like I was looking for to a Tee! some aren't that great but there are so many I can switch anytime I get bored with a story.
That ending was definitely worth the wait😂.
