https://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_1437496?utm_source=a_share&theme=light Needed to share this, the dispatcher was NOT fired, though he'd been reprimanded multiple times previously. Wondering what it takes, how many lives you have to cost out of arrogance or ignorance, whatever this was, to be let go. It's a scary thought.

This is something that I learned when meeting new people. Someone told me it is best to meet in a public place where there are other people around, for your protection.

the victims of the Starlight Tours weren't even doing anything wrong. most of them were simply drunk. they were left in frigid temperatures often without clothing. Multiple men who are victims have died due to this. I haven't listened to all your episodes, but you should do a full episode on the Starlight Tours in Saskatchewan Canada. it's horrific and STILL HAPPENS. my best friend has an uncle who was one of the victims who luckily survived.

Oh yes of course... Let me run a check on the police officer.... That's what we need to do. "Sorry officer. Let me just run a check on you while you patiently wait for me..."... Lol

it wasn't really talked about it, but why wouldn't the disgruntled ex fiance be good for najas murder? her car leaving so early could easily have been a body dump by him. would have had probably 4 hours before the kids needed waking up, and 2ish before work would have missed her, if they would have. he could have went and put the foot in the local pond assuming eventually it would be found and make it obvious that she was dead, and he could have easily dropped the car off too.

I'm listening to this in 2020 and I know for sure that the RCMP have recently confirmed at least 2 separate serial killers in the Alberta area who target Indigenous men and women. my best friend was almost a victim to this guy several years back. The guy offered him a ride home from the bar and when my friend woke up after driving for a while the guy was heading the opposite way he was supposed to be. my friend freaked out and called his twin, who lived along the road they were travelling on, and the second the guy realized my friend wasn't going without a fight, he changed his story. "oh wait, shit, you're right, I am going the wrong way! I'll turn around and just drop you off in Wetaskiwin." luckily my friend got home okay, but shortly after another Indigenous man from the same area disappeared under the same circumstances. I'm going to show my friend this audio clip and see if he recognizes the voice. for those who don't know, Wetaskiwin is not very far from Edmonton.
