This story is hard to listen to, but I feel so drawn to it and have this need to share it on the podcast because I grew up in the same area where this happened, so it’s very near and dear to my heart. I came across this story from someone who shared it with me that I know personally. This may not be a very lengthy episode, but it’s a big one, especially for the family affected. This week’s story involves a child who was murdered in a tragic, horrific way, and because of the nature of this crime, please be advised, especially if you have young ears listening, that the details surrounding this case are graphic and may be disturbing. This devastating nightmare happened in June 2023. Recently, Pennsylvania’s Attorney General announced on January 11, 2024, that a Lawrence County woman has been arrested on charges related to the abuse and death of her boyfriend’s one-year-old daughter. Baby Iris Alfera's family hopes to help protect children in future cases. This week, we take a look at a homicide that caught everyone by surprise. A murder that makes us wonder how someone could be capable of such a terrible act This story takes us to Akron, Ohio, where a family of four lives a very traditional American life. Steven and Brenda are the parents of two teenage children, Sydney and her brother, Andrew. This was your typical family: both parents worked, the kids who were now off to college - got good grades, and they got a chance to go on vacation in the summer, whether it was to Disney or the beach. They had a 529 plan set up to cover tuition costs. The road is open to possibilities for their children's future. The kids would most likely follow their parents footprints and continue with the same tradition. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

I must have missed something. Drams wife killed him and shot herself twice in the head. they were both found in the bedroom, him dead on the floor and she, laying in bed, covered up. if I heard correctly, the gun was found in the living room, under something. did she shoot her husband three times in the bedroom, killing him, then walk into the living room, shoot herself twice behind the ear, then drop the gun, walk into the bedroom and get in bed, covering herself and take a nap? I listen to these podcast while driving to I might have missed something but that woman has to be tough, nuts but tough

she has been found, murdered of course. One of the three men who took her home has since been convicted. The ugly one with the psychopath eyes. I cannot imagine such a beautiful vibrant woman willingly having sex with such an ugly psychopath but oh well whatever.

Murder is still murder. It doesn't matter why unless done in self defense, which planning a double murder does not fit for self defense.

Absolutely full of incorrect details and speculation. 1. The pliers were found in the shed not the boat and they were rusted shut so very likely unrelated.
