Something has been found at the bottom of Earth's ocean. An ancient artifact that can only be described as a giant door, inset into the ocean floor.
It became known as the Vault. A gigantic enigma, buried and forgotten...nineteen thousand feet down.
Just the kind of thing that would interest the galaxy's most powerful corporation, Maas-Dorian. To study the artifact, the company built a massive, self-contained, secret laboratory base surrounding it. That base is named Fathom. It's objective: unlock the secrets of the artifact and discover what it holds.
A group of scientists, engineers, and workers led by Dr. Eva Graff and Commander Joe Freeman have been working on that task for almost a year, but with little to show for it. The Vault has yet to give up its secrets, and their employers are beginning to lose patience. Add to that, some on the base say they hear...voices. Inside the signal the Vault is broadcasting. Hundreds of them. Thousands. Whispering and chittering of a desire to be let out...
But none of it holds sway over a corporation interested only in power and profit, even if it knows all too well that some mysteries should remain buried. And that some doors should never be opened....
FATHOM is created, written and directed by J. Barton Mitchell; produced by Kirsten Rudberg, Elizabeth Laidlaw and Thomas Barker; features original music by Makeup and Vanity Set, Luke Atencio, and Ryan Taubert; sound design and editing by J. Barton Mitchell; additional sound design by Music Radio Creative. Cast: Elizabeth Laidlaw - EVA GRAFF; Michael Mau - BLAYNE; Eli Goodman - JOE FREEMAN; Dani Payne - SARAH KLAYTON.

I tried so hard but this is so poorly executed that I simply can't continue.
Chef's kiss. one of my favorite sci-fi podcasts every sci-fi lover should try. Here's hoping the new season comes out fast enough

I've been circling this feed for months wondering what it's all about. Thought it might have died but later noticed more episodes being produced. The author provides a succinct and satisfying explanation for the erratic release schedule so I decided to give it a go. Below is a recounting of my journey from being idly interested to a full-blown zealot for this show and the team behind it. E1 intriguing and exciting, perfect pilot E2 oh wow this is tense I think I'm all in E3 this has an interesting mix of influences I wonder what they're going to keep it fr E4 holy moly oh no oh dang no no no E5 hey neat we have a whole other thing going over here E6 they have those too? oh shoot holy crap run run r u n E7 phew thank goodness they made it out of oh no oh beans E8 should call my Dr about these heart palpitations just as soon as they pull thr E9 hello lawyer please give them all of the money now please yes all of it

Well done. I would have NEVER know it was a 1 man show!🙌🙌🙌
I could hardly make out what mac was saying.
It's really hard to make out what mac is saying half the time
These are really good, but since there's really long gaps of time between releases, maybe do a recap?
To say I am obsessed with audio dramas is an understatement. Most would have a hard time naming one I haven't heard.... I say all that to say this podcast is absolutely amazing! each episode is like a full movie for your ears. the effort, time, and Money put into this show is evident more so than any other podcast I have ever heard. this is right up there with podcasts like we're alive and the rare few great audio dramas. Give it a chance and thank me later.
A remarkable achievement. The script, performances, & sound design are all absolutely first-rate. This has turned into the most engaging & exciting audio story I've ever experienced.
I can’t hear anything
