Amapiano (Zulu for "the pianos") is a style of House music that emerged in South Africa in 2012. Amapiano is a hybrid of Deep House, Jazz, and lounge music characterized by synths, airy pads, and wide and percussive basslines. It is distinguished by high-pitched piano melodies, Kwaito basslines, low tempo 90s South African House rhythms and percussions from another local subgenre of House known as Bacardi.

Hiplife is a Ghanaian musical style that fuses Ghanaian culture and Hip Hop. Recorded predominantly in the Ghanaian Akan language, Hiplife rapidly gained popularity in the 2010s throughout West Africa and abroad, especially in the United Kingdom, United States, Canada, and Germany.
Hiplife covers a broad range of musical styles fused together, combining Reggae/Dancehall/Ragga scat and patois-tinged sounds of Jamaica with Akan-language lyrics over Reggae rhythms fused with Ghanaian melodies.
It's all about vibes, those African vibes.
