This case reminds of the movie Gone Baby Gone, with Morgan Freeman and Casey Afflact. Basically a mom, who drinks and traffics drugs is constantly leaving her 3 year old daughter at home alone. And the girls uncle is fed up with it. So he snatched her one night and handed her over to a police chief to keep and protect. Eventually the truth is found out by a detective and he “rescues” her. Only to have the mom continue to neglect the daughter. I hope these girls are safe somewhere.

what I find interesting right before Lauryn went missing, her mom and step dad were caught embezzling from a company they worked for. Lauren's mother had forged checks to several people, including Lauryn...this was discovered October 2013...her mom and step dad embezzled 1.2 million. I'm not saying that what happened to Lauryn was karma....and Lauryn was found alive and well..I'm wondering if Lauryn took off because she could of possibly been charged with theft...

I don’t understand: the police arrest people for less that what the boyfriend did. Yet they don’t arrest him? And how come there are other womens’ bodies lying around USA? Scary place!
