Following the senseless murders of children and staff at the Covenant School by a disturbed transgender shooter, Jason said that Nashville was ground zero for the culture war in America. Today, we watched those words prophetically play out in front of us as anti-gun protesters stormed the Tennessee state Capitol. Conservative media personality Robby Starbuck joins Jason to discuss his motivations for moving to the Music City after a successful career in Hollywood, why the city is attractive to like-minded Americans, the disproportionate rise in violence by transgender people, and why those on the Left turn a blind eye to the chaos they incite.

Lamar Jackson’s Tuesday night Twitter storm was a very revealing moment in his young career. The former MVP’s social media venting session uncovered his well-intentioned soul but also spotlighted the lack of guidance that could jeopardize his career. “Lamar Jackson stands at a critical career crossroads. His desire to land a Deshaun Watson-type contract and the media-driven drumbeat of victimization have distracted him from the narrow path of football immortality he claims to prioritize.” Jason is speaking from his own experience in sports media: All money isn’t good money, especially if in the end, it leads to a path that could be detrimental to your career. “As it relates to his contract negotiation, God is not directing Lamar’s steps. Deshaun Watson is.” Pastor Anthony Walker joins Jason for the conversation about Lamar's battle between chasing the bag and following God. We can’t talk about Lamar Jackson without our QB whisperer, “Last Chance U’s” Coach Jason Brown. “Fearless” contributor Steve Kim shares his thoughts on Lamar’s contract saga. Plus, the group weighs in on the battle between Stephen A. Smith and Dan Le Batard and the season premiere of HBO's “Succession.”

“What happened yesterday is personal to me. It helps me explain why God wanted me here in Nashville — because this is ground zero for this culture war.” In the midst of tragedy, Jason has found purpose. Monday, that culture war claimed some of its most innocent casualties yet. Audrey Hale, 28, a former student at the school who identified as transgender, opened fire and claimed the lives of six people, including three children. Hale’s motives for the violence still aren’t completely known. Police say there is a manifesto that may explain her actions, but for Jason, it’s simple: It is another sad case of a culture that preaches to kids that they can find freedom in their sexual identity or their race rather than preaching that only obedience to God can grant true freedom. “Fearless” contributor and father Delano Squires adds his perspective to the conversation. Plus, BlazeTV host Sara Gonzales of "The News & Why It Matters" joins the show. Sara has been on the front lines of the trans debate and reveals why events like yesterday have her increasingly frightened.

What better time than Women’s History Month to celebrate the storied collegiate swimming career of William Thomas, the man currently known as “Lia”? The transgender swimmer has dominated the female competition, and ESPN and Disney are now celebrating him for all his groundbreaking accomplishments, minimalizing female athletes. “Disney is evil. The company is uprooting a foundational truth — God created man and woman, giving men XY chromosomes and women XX chromosomes. It’s normalizing a treatable mental illness.” Jason points out that the company that loves to “embrace debate” is completely ignoring one of the most important issues facing sports. “I’d love to know what Mina Kimes, Sarah Spain, Malika Andrews, and Elle Duncan think on this issue.” “Fearless” contributors T.J. Moe, Shemeka Michelle, and Steve Kim share their thoughts on this controversial issue. Plus, Lamar Jackson has demanded a trade from the Baltimore Ravens, painting himself as a victim after claiming that the team isn’t willing to meet his value. Jason and Steve discuss the media’s portrayal of Jackson and the expectations it sets for black quarterbacks.

The fallout from Jason’s feud with Mina Kimes continues across social media and the internet. Kimes' Twitter rebuttal to Jason’s critique of her victimhood mentality was met with praise and awe from the usual woke suspects. By the reaction, you’d believe that Kimes is the Jordan Peterson of sports media — except people are allowed to criticize Peterson, while Mina remains above reproach. Not for Jason Whitlock. “I’m going to make everybody play by the same rules. If I can go on this show or on Twitter and blast Shannon Sharpe, I can go on Twitter and blast Mina Kimes.” As a special bonus for all the haters, Jason brings receipts from Matt Lauer, Oprah Winfrey, and CNN that show his message has remained consistent throughout the years and that it’s the world that has changed. “Fearless” contributor Steve Kim joins the show to discuss the allegations the NFL has levied against Lamar Jackson, accusing him of using a “non-agent” to negotiate his contract. Plus, Tom Brady has “acquired” a stake in the WNBA’s Las Vegas Aces. Will this be a better investment than Tom’s crypto portfolio was? We can’t talk about Lamar Jackson without “Last Chance U’s” Coach Jason Brown. JB lays out his theory on the NFL’s conclusion about Lamar, and it has nothing to do with the color of his skin.

Sports Twitter exploded after a little-known Boston radio host allegedly used a racial slur in reference to ESPN’s Mina Kimes. An even lesser-known fact to Jason was that the term he used was even offensive, but nonetheless, the typical cast of virtue-signalers took to their tweet machines to make a martyr of Mina once again. The general in charge of the keyboard army was Sarah Spain, Kimes’ colleague and leading Twitter-blocker. The two have made a living as professional victims daylighting as sports journalists. “Kimes and Spain love reveling in mean tweets and emails. They make news every time they pretend they’re the only sports writers getting criticized. ESPN plays along and jumps to defend its Asian Instagram model every time.” Jason unloads on the latest example of worldwide leaders claiming victimhood. “Fearless” contributor and expert on all things Asian Steve Kim adds his perspective to the conversation. In an in-depth interview with Vanity Fair, Gisele Bündchen opened up about her divorce from Tom Brady and her love affair with nature and then called herself a “witch of love.” Our “Fearless” first lady, Shemeka Michelle, joins the show to remind everyone why she was on Team Tom from the jump and explains what the supermodel is really talking about.

Since the day Donald Trump rode down the escalator, those on the Left have waged an all-out war against him. Not satisfied that he no longer occupies the White House, their dogged pursuit of criminal charges has been relentless since January 6, 2021. What is the real reason that progressives will stop at nothing to make sure Donald Trump can never run for president again? “Fearless” contributor Royce White joins Jason to discuss Trump's threat to the uni-party and how it will all play out in the end. Dom Lucre set Twitter ablaze with his recent Hunter Biden thread, accusing the president’s son of even more debaucherous behavior. Lucre joins the show to discuss the allegations he levied, the threat he poses to the liberal establishment, and the motivations behind his actions. Plus, Wednesday means Tennessee Harmony. Anthony Walker, Virgil Walker, and Dave Shannon share a conversation about the organization “Stop Having Kids.” The group’s proclaimed purpose is to prevent the world from obeying God’s commandment to be “fruitful and multiply.”

Cam Newton is looking for a triumphant return to the NFL. The former Heisman Trophy winner returned to the site of his college glory to throw at Auburn’s Pro Day. The 33-year-old released a hype video announcing his intention to participate in the showcase usually meant for college players looking to catch an NFL scouts' eye. Newton asked “Tell me how these randoms keep getting jobs?”. Jason and “Fearless” contributor Steve Kim are here to answer that exact question and discuss the one thing that’s the kryptonite holding Super-Cam from his NFL sequel. Plus, did Nick Saban throw some shade at Alabama basketball coach Nate Oats while discipling one of his top recruits? The NFL owners seem poised to offer commissioner Roger Goodell another contract extension, is that a wise move? Delano Squires has come up with a creative solution to Donald Trump’s legal matters in New York. Delano and Jason discuss The New York “Afristocracy” and their fetish for hating Trump and worshiping drag queens.

Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has resurrected the criminal case against former President Donald Trump. The George Soros-backed prosecutor plans to indict Trump on tax fraud charges related to the hush money paid to porn star Stormy Daniels. Donald Trump has cast himself as Jesus Christ — America’s messiah, who is ready to die for his MAGA theology. But Jason says that Trump and his pride are more reminiscent of someone else who died on Calvary: a common, unrepentant thief who was crucified alongside the son of God. “Trump isn’t Jesus. He’s Gestas. An unprecedented and corrupt cabal of Romans, Jewish leaders, Herod, and the people of Israel have nailed Trump to a cross to the left of Christianity. And rather than humble himself and repent, Trump is demanding that he be removed from the cross.” Trump is no one’s savior. He’s a sinner who needs to confess and repent — like all men — to save this country. Trump’s sins empower the Democratic Party and those looking to end his political career. “Fearless” contributor Royce White shares his perspective on the persecution of the former president, and T.J. Moe offers his take on the pride and ego that have been and continue to be the least desirable character traits of Donald Trump.

Jason and the “Fearless Army" pick up where they left off in Friday’s episode, discussing the matters plaguing the church. Though he’s a fan of most of Transformation Church’s Pastor Michael Todd’s sermons, Jason admits that his message can come across as rather effeminate and oftentimes misses the mark for men. Is the church as a whole suffering from a masculinity crisis and cultivating a culture of empathy that pushes men away from faith? Do churches feel like they need to show more empathy to appeal to the younger generations? Pastor Bobby Harrington, T.J. Moe, Dave Shannon, and Pastor Virgil Walker tackle these questions of faith and more.

Jason recently received an email from a devoted “Fearless” viewer who was critical of the show’s portrayal of controversial former pastor Rick Warren. The email was an example of the viral thought process that is infecting church congregations across America. Recently, Jason thought this virus struck one of his favorite faith leaders, Pastor Mike Todd of Tulsa’s Transformation Church. Did Pastor Todd affirm transgenderism and homosexuality from the pulpit? Jason welcomes YouTuber Kris Williams, who levied those same allegations against Todd, and discusses the method and messages of Todd’s teaching with Anthony Walker, Bobby Harrington, T.J. Moe, Virgil Walker, and Delano Squires. Plus, former NFL player turned Israelite minister Daniel Muir joins the show to debate the merits of Todd’s ministry.

Following a string of incidents that ended with Memphis Grizzlies star Ja Morant flashing a gun in a Denver strip club, the NBA sent the young star in for counseling. Three days later, he emerged a changed man and sat down with the most venerable sports journalist of our time, ESPN’s Jalen Rose, to document his three-day transformation. Jason and most of the sports world aren’t buying it. “How is this not a scripted movie? Ja Morant is all better now. In a 12-day whirlwind, Morant dropped $50K at a strip club, flashed a gun, got a Reiki and Tantra massage in Florida, sat down with Adam Silver and Jalen Rose, and now he’s ready to play basketball again.” The NBA has sacrificed competition on the court for content on social media; Morant is just the latest example. “It’s a content league. It’s a league dedicated to feeding ESPN, Fox Sports, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook content. It’s a league built on gossip, opinion, and narrative. It’s a league with no respect for competition or integrity.” “Fearless” contributors T.J. Moe, Royce White, and Steve Kim join the show to discuss Morant’s crime-to-riches comeback story.

While the NFL media speculates and pontificates on the future of Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback himself has used his chosen platform to call out the media once again. Reports have been circulating that Rodgers was demanding the New York Jets acquire hand-selected players before he would finalize a trade deal with the Big Apple. Speaking to Pat McAfee, Rodgers said that’s not at all how the conversation went down. Rodgers said the Jets asked him for a “wish list” of players he’d like to see on the roster if they made a trade for the four-time NFL MVP. Rodgers is being criticized for the way he’s handling the decision about his future and the way he handles the sports media. Jason is not one of his critics. “I don’t blame Aaron Rodgers for being adversarial with the media. They have an agenda.” On the other hand, “Fearless” contributors T.J. Moe and Steve Kim are leaning the other way and are experiencing some “Aaron Rodgers fatigue.” HBO’s resident race-baiter, Bomani Jones, recently attacked JJ Redick over his exchange with Kendrick Perkins during the NBA MVP debate. Jones said, “White people aren’t always racially biased. But you can never be 100% sure.” Jason, T.J., and Steve discuss the thoughts of sports media's pseudo-intellectual. In Tennessee Harmony, Shemeka Michelle joins Jason, T.J., and Anthony Walker to share a strange conversation she had with a pastor at a cigar lounge. Then, Virgil Walker joins the conversation to talk about the new controversial statements from former megachurch pastor Rick Warren. After retiring from Saddleback Church and after the church itself was disfellowshipped by the Southern Baptist Convention, Warren said he now has scripture to justify the church’s decision to ordain female pastors in leadership roles.

Following his Instagram gun video and a two-day strip club sexcapade, the NBA has sent Ja Morant to a counseling facility to address his recent off-court behavior. Jason suggests that it’s not Ja who really needs the help — maybe it's those who have carefully crafted the culture that has engulfed Morant who are in need of counseling. “Nike and the NBA in particular and professional sports in general cultivated Morant’s identity dysphoria. In the aftermath of the historic success of the Air Jordan brand, the entire sports world has spent the last three decades pursuing street credibility and promoting racial idolatry.” Jason explores the connections between Nike, the NBA, and gangsta rap that have created a secular culture in sports. Former NBA first-rounder Royce White, a longtime mental health advocate in the NBA, adds his firsthand knowledge to the issues surrounding Morant. Delano Squires joins “Fearless” to discuss the Ja Morant situation and pop star Ciara nearly baring all at an Oscars after-party, further emasculating Russell Wilson in the process. The first lady of "Fearless,” Shemeka Michelle, adds her own take on what’s really happening between Ciara and Russell. And Steve Kim wraps up the show talking about Michael Irvin’s legal issues following the sexual assault allegations during Super Bowl week. The surveillance video of the incident is out; what does the tape really show?

Hollywood made it through the Oscars without a single act of physical violence, but if looks could kill, Angela Bassett would have been able to pull off what Michael Myers couldn’t: take out Jamie Lee Curtis. When Curtis was announced as the winner of the Oscar for Best Supporting Actress, Bassett couldn’t even feign a little joy for her fellow nominee. She sat stone-faced in her chair as the rest of the audience responded with a standing ovation. Jason says Bassett’s reaction encapsulates the pandemic of entitlement and victimhood in America. Her role in “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever” should have all but guaranteed her an Academy Award — after all, it was the greatest film in black cinematic history. Jason refers to this type of entitlement as “trickle-down racial justice.” “Trickle-down racial justice is the theory that argues the rewards given to spoiled black elites eventually benefit poor black people. Denying Bassett an Oscar means a little black girl in Chicago or Buffalo or San Antonio is less likely to get an A in her math or English class. The celebration and honoring of Bassett and other black elites are critical to closing all racial achievement gaps.” “Fearless” contributor Shemeka Michelle adds her flavor to the discussion and tries to help Jason figure out how “Everything Everywhere All at Once” was the best film that Hollywood could muster last year. Steve Kim drops in to hit the latest NFL headlines, including Jalen Ramsey's journey to South Beach. Does this mean the Dolphins are now stuck with Tua as QB? And re-rack the Lamar Jackson outrage as rumors swirl that no other NFL team is willing to take in the former league MVP.

Colin Kaepernick is back, and you know what that means. Stand by for wokeness. The former kneeling back of the San Francisco 49ers has released a “graphic novel” comic book detailing his struggle to find his identity as a child. In this cartoonishly bad tale, Kaepernick paints his white adoptive parents as “problematic” and perpetuating racism by suppressing his true identity as a kid. Jason unloads on the lack of gratitude Kaepernick shows for the two people who chose to raise a little boy who had been abandoned by a father he never knew and a birth mother who didn’t want the job of being his parent. Kaepernick worships at the altar of racial idolatry, and he’s sacrificing his white parents in pursuit of his “blackness.” “Fearless” contributor Delano Squires adds his parental perspective to the conversation. Plus, the “Korean Cosell” Steve Kim joins the show to discuss Kaepernick, Tiger Woods' women problems, and Patrick Ewing getting booted from his alma mater.

For over a week now, ESPN’s Kendrick Perkins has been leading the campaign against Nikola Jokic as NBA MVP. In a heated exchange with colleague JJ Redick, Perkins implied the system was rigged because, in his words, “80% of MVP voters are white.” What Perkins shouted loudly as a cut-and-dry fact proved not to be true. ESPN fact-checked Perkins' statement and issued a “correction” about the make-up of the NBA voting constituency. This is an example of the type of behavior that Jason says the media is using to spread racial division and conflict, division and conflict that are leading the country down a dangerous path. The media exploits people like Perkins, Shannon Sharpe, Stephen A. Smith, and Skip Bayless to present narratives that create animus among races. It’s not just the sports media creating division in America. Tucker Carlson has spent the week dismantling the mainstream media’s narrative about the January 6 “insurrection,” an event that was used to drive a wedge between citizens and portray an entire voting block as racist rioters. As Jason points out, all the media misinformation isn’t new. In fact, he can trace it back to Dan Rather in 1963.

It didn’t take long for the sports media world to cry racism over the Baltimore Ravens slapping a non-exclusive franchise tag on quarterback Lamar Jackson. It seems no other team in the league is interested in negotiating with the former league MVP, so according to Pro Football Focus, it has to be the racist team owners colluding against the black signal caller. Jason has a few alternative theories based more on common sense than conspiracy. “Fearless” contributors Steve Kim and Coach Jason Brown of “Last Chance U” discuss the business side of Lamar Jackson and why no team has stepped up to pay him what he wants. JJ Redick may not be an ESPN employee much longer after speaking the truth to Kendrick Perkins, Stephen A. Smith and blasting “First Take”. And in Tennessee Harmony, Pastor Anthony Walker, Bryson Gray and Shemeka Michelle join Jason to review the faith based film “Jesus Revolution”.

Less than a week after allegations were made public that Ja Morant assaulted a teenager, for an encore, Morant took to Instagram Live brandishing a gun in a strip club. Morant is garnering sympathy from NBA alumni like Jalen Rose and Paul Pierce. Jason argues that the gangsta culture and the city of Memphis are seducing Morant into a lifestyle that’s detrimental to his future in the league — or is it? Maybe Nike and the hip-hop culture will make Morant more valuable in the long run. Former NBA first-rounder Royce White, Pastor Anthony Walker, Bryson Gray, and comedian Steve Byrne join the show to discuss Morant's recent downward spiral. Texas Tech head basketball coach Mark Adams has been suspended for “racially insensitive” comments he made toward a member of his team. Those comments were actually scripture the coach was using to teach his players teamwork and success. We are officially living in a world where the Bible is hate speech. “Fearless” contributors Steve Kim and T.J. Moe join the rest of the panel to share their thoughts on the coach's suspension. And we've saved the best: Jason strikes a match in his Fire-starter about Chris Rock’s Netflix special “Selective Outrage” and makes the case as to why Rock is on the “God Squad.”

Yes. Dan Rather. Useful idiot propagandist for the left
Excellent episode. Kaepernick is a poser, not a man.
Jason is my favorite new podcaster
lamo a sara silverman ad to start
Agree completely with your take on Candace. She makes everything about Candace.
I am not going to argue that in the past the NFL did not view the skill set with which most black quarterbacks came out of college as being one that would work in the league. But the guest is parroting an untrue narrative regarding Warren Moon. His college numbers were not that good. slightly better than average, to be honest. He had a couple of individual honors that amount to not much of anything in reality. He was looking at likely being drafted in the later rounds that year. Back then there were 12 rounds to the draft. So, he went ahead and inked a deal with the Canadian Football League BEFORE the NFL draft even took place. At that point, why would an NFL team draft a guy who was already a late rounds player to begin with? This isn't Herschel Walker we're talking about. This is a guy who was barely over .500 in college in a weak Pack-8 conference. His banner year as a senior, they only went 8-4. Good on him for showing that he belonged in the league. But he was not snubbed by the league in the first place.
Another Home run, Mr Fearless! Your show accurately depicts the 50-year road we all are paving on our way to H-E-🏒🏒 Love you and All your GUESTS!!
BEST EVER 🔥 STARTER🔥 FEARLESS!!! WE 😘😘 HOU FROM LAKEWAY Texas!
it took a huge set of balls and a literally unshakable self-confidence for Jason to deliver this take. Will everyone that looks like him is screaming Jon Gruden is a racist he turns around and says Jon Gruden is not only not racist, more than likely, but that Gruden is no different than himself. conveying a unique perspective on a daily basis while delivering entertaining content, they're only two three maybe four other people like Jason in the United States. He should have been doing radio decades ago. most people react with the same substitute of opinion and same procedural logic in coming to that opinion on a daily basis. Jason is one of a handful that consistently delivers a unique, independent and enlightening perspective well keeping the dialogue light enough that it is entertaining and often humorous. one requested for some reason he does see this. He should definitely let his stream of consciousness run wild and stop inhibiting himself when it comes to subject matter that may be controversial. He's gifted in that he can hold the audience will delivering in unrehearsed, stream of consciousness response to an emotional cultural or social event. He should ignore any internal alarm bed would act as a governor on his visceral stream-of-consciousness response. When he lets his emotions come right below the surface while reacting to an event he consistently delivers an amazing narrative. You should let that run wild
one of the best episodes yet
Oh no. Jason's going to suffer down the road for platforming this guy. It just goes to show you that regardless of your background you can still reveal yourself to be a complete lunatic if allowed to speak for long enough.
Jason, you are spot on about the "N-word", it's an ugly word on matter who says it. Joe Rogan was a fool for apologizing for that montage of out of context use of the word. Joe is clearly being used as a whipping boy.
this is a legendary episode of a legendary podcast. I'm not North American, but I am positive I love America and Freedom more than these slimy politicians, that managed to put down the greatest nation ever. I am of Catholic upbringing, like most Brazilian people at the time, but I'm not so enthusiastic toward religion as is presented at the moment. However, a non commercial faith in God and higher consequences, to really have the heart to respect other people, is a solid base for a society; and these guys, in this episode , hit the nail so hard it went through the woodwork of society.
Jason Whitlock our harbinger of the truth! Huge shout out from Brazil! Keep up the great work
Jason, not ONLY (North) American history, because it has ramifications for the whole world. I am a huge fan, and I am a Brazilian-Italian MD living in Brazil. I LOVE your takes on every subject since the first time I heard you speak in some sports podcast I don't even care about anymore. YOU are a relevant voice, sir. Please keep it sharp as always, and thank you.
this podcast is for real. Jason, you are the man!
Greatest episode to date. Whitlock is the Minister of Truth. PREACH pastor, preach.
EP 97 a must listen.
I love it when you go after ESPN. They suck so bad now. I loved that network in the 90s. Sad what happened but go woke go broke.
