this Pod drops really early when the Clippers lose or when the Lakers win 😂😂 but when it's reversed, it takes a while
Hiring Brandon Marshall was the absolute worst hire ever!!!! I literally hate the show now!!!
Cam Newton to New England, eh? I suppose we are going to completely forget that Cam Newton has never demonstrated that he is smart enough to play quarterback for an organization like New England. Even during the MVP run the negative on Cam was that he's fine as long as he has a good chunk of field in front of them, but he is absolutely horrible once you get to the Red Zone and there is player congestion to deal with. the Patriots system hinges on having an intelligent quarterback. Cam does not fill that need.
I love how these guys pretend that most players give a s*** about anything other than money. If the Panthers thought that the optics of letting go a player who had lost eight straight games, can't stay healthy and who is known as being kind of a selfish pain in the ass, they probably would have kept Cam. As it is, I'm sure if they waive enough money in front of potential free agents they will be more than happy to go to Carolina. Let's also not forget the fact that they are getting rid of him because they don't think he can do the job anymore. They're not letting go of a reigning MVP. That was five seasons ago. He wouldn't have cost them that much if they had kept him this season. it's also absolutely adorable how some of them believe that the entire rest of the league should want Cam Newton. If that were the case, the Panthers could have traded Cam to one of those teams. They did not. That speaks volumes about the market available for Cam Newton.
Cam Newton has had one standout season in his entire career. I think it can be argued that Christian McCaffrey may not be the best player to ever wear a Carolina Panther uniform, but he ranks higher than Cam Newton in that regard.
Regarding Kaepernick, Wright conveniently left out another thing that, as far as we know, is a "fact." Kaepernick has not made much if any genuine effort to get back into the league while he has enjoyed collecting endorsement checks and playing the martyr for the last three years.
Has anyone noticed that the only position in which these guys give a crap that the standard has been lowered in order to accommodate the modern athlete is quarterback? I don't see anyone wringing their hands that we can't find a way to basically legislate opportunities for all of these undersized scramblers to play nose guard or left tackle.
Correction. The conversation about Kyle Allen replacing Cam Newton didn't begin because of Allen's 4-0 start. It began because of Cam Newton's 0-8 record before that. No one was saying that Teddy Bridgewater should be replacing Drew Brees. They were more than willing to say that Cam Newton should be replaced. Big difference.
helps me get thru the day every day!!
replace nick wright and would be one of the top shows on fox, rarely listen to it because of his constant liberal comments
