An episode that Bravo fans hoped would bring answers to questions like: What consequences will there be for Pushfest? What ramifications will befall Jesse for getting physical with the group and requiring two producers to get involved? What terse words will Jax have for his bro after learning that his wife was nearly trampled? How will Zach move on from Jesse treating him like a slow motion crash dummy testing the structural integrity of a hotel hallway? The episode picks back up at the conference room dinner that is now garnished with filming ultimatums, before bringing us to another informative boyz night, highlighting new issues between Luke and Kristen, existing ones between the Lally's, and we see Jax finally take Britney out for a date night - only to make her cry.
Full recap of the episode where Jesse bulldozes through a hallway of people while wearing a graph paper suit. The journey of the episode spans expanding our knowledge of Luke's life in Colorado, Kristin's conviction that she's a great friend to Michelle, Jax's love of gossip and being compensated for dramatizing hair loss, Jesse's plans to assess his ego through psychedelics, and Britney's intent to be included in the opening of Jax's bar. The arguments that lead up to the pushfest are as enlightening as the event itself, with Jesse in full delusion mode and Michelle eager to pawn him off to either a pop-up shop lady or Britney's mawmaw. Bravo news, from the blasphemous rumors of a severance package for Andy, to the latest drama about Brittany and Jax, and who their Valley costars Michelle and Jesse are now dating - including an insightful look into Michelle's new alleged finance bro beau, plus a new discovery about sweet Nia. Then, a brief summary of highlights from the last episode of Vanderpump Rules that I watched begrudgingly, updates on PK's tycoon endeavors, a discussion on the Taylor Swift album that just dropped, and lastly, a review of several movies and shows that run the gamut of comedy to true crime including, "What Jennifer Did", "Anyone But You", "Immaculate", "Sometimes I Think About Dying", and "Dune".
A review of a jam-packed week; from multiple housewives saying goodbye, to learning more about Candiace's departure, and watching 8.5 fight dirty with a parody account that she believed was Crystal, before a rant about Olympics uniforms. Then a full recap of another explosive Valley episode where Nia bravely discusses her struggles with post partum depression and where we learn alarming information about the couples working on their relationships - one of which may or may not involve a mystery director with an affinity for the Chateau Marmont.
A lot happened over the past week, an eclipse, dirty rumors about BH casting that sent me into a spiral, plus Jill just jillin' like a villian on Below Deck, and now talk of a Potomac boycott as Teresa and Louie make a splash at Coachella. We cover all those bases before a recap of The Valley where the group is dealing with the aftermath of "R squared gate" and also preparing to attend, and help arrange, a charity gala.
A jam packed episode that addresses the cast's horrible skills playing the telephone game, further dissects marital issues between Jesse and Michelle, and proves that the recipe for an explosive episode for any Bravo franchise is a catered dinner. We also learn more about Jesse's fixation with portrayals of wealth and grandeur, find out about Janet's boundaries with Kristin, and watch Zach continue to dodge his role in spreading salacious info to Kristin and Luke.
A brief sleuth session into a few cast members and possible outcomes of the toxic aura hovering over The Valley before a recap where we watch Jax be a horrible friend to Kristin and learn that Britney will stand by her man-child no matter what. The repercussions of nipple tweaking continue to be felt (pun intended), not even a relaxing girl's night is safe from drama that stresses new mom Nia, and Luke's initiation to fit in with da boyz isn't going well.
A review of Bravo news topics before a trip into The Valley, a Vanderpump Rules spinoff that focuses on the chapters of parenthood and homeownership that former SURvers and bartenders have embarked upon. The premier episode introduces us to several couples and their different stages of parenthood, as well as their single friends who are along for the ride. We meet likeable and loathable characters who remind us that age, truly can be, just a number.
We celebrate the 18year anniversary of Real Housewives origins in Orange County, bringing us Skye tops and a family van that forever changed the trajectory of reality tv and lead us to current Bravo events; whether 8.5 Anne should have been given a second chance (with a special message from my friend Kiki @thetalkofshame to present a differing perspective), Kim Z's attempts to resell designer items as new, and watching as Kyle and Mauricio shift their ongoing issues to his show. Then, a review of the Hermes lawsuit filed this week by people denied the opportunity to purchase Birkin bags, including an enlightening look into their commission structure, before delving into the Roadhouse remake with Jake Gyllenhaal and how it measures up to the 1989 cult classic with Patrick Swayze.
The NSFW finale of the Erika Jayne Vegas residency documentary focuses on high stakes drama of lackadaisical gyrating just prior to the show's opening night at House of Blues. We learn a variety of fun facts, from Erika's reiterated belief that Tom is suffering from cognitive decline, to her team's stance that their true opinions of her performance can't be caught on camera, to Mikey's singular vision of what a lady amidst pleasure looks like. Between ego, delusion, contrived drama, and donuts, this documentary had it all. Thanks to the good people of Reddit and online comment boards, we quote reviews from Bravo fans and alleged attendees of the Vegas show.
The last episode of the three part reunion that viewers hoped would bring accountability and clarity to issues from the season. Sutton's medical emergency takes her and Garcelle off the couches, leaving the main focus on Kyle and Kathy. The frustrating episode is primarily a walk down the memory lane of Kyle's life via footage. While emotions run high, they do not clear up any murky topics.
A recap of the pussy pattin' propaganda documentary of Erika Girardi's "comeback" as Erika Jayne via a Vegas residency at the House of Blues in August 2023. We watch low impact dance rehearsals and witness her fond memories of Tom, whom she still seems to enjoy describing at his professional peak. We hear her reminisce about her old life of obscene wealth and spending before lamenting her Vegas show's current budget and trying in vain to secure $100k more. Denied by the showrunner for already being over budget, and failing to get a personal loan, our heroine must overcome the odds...and the show must go on. This recap is of the first half of the 2-hour special, due to fatigue. The second half will be posted separately.
First, we hit a few Bravo hot topics, then we recap The Kyle Show/Beverly Hills Reunion that summarizes all the stale beef, 2022 tiffs, and dodged accountability that Kyle storyboarded for our enjoyment. Interrupting that flow is Sutton's attempt to point out Kyle's ongoing damaging accusations against her, Dorit's stance that so much changed in Kyle's life that questioning it was warranted, and the episode ends with Kathy emerging bc of course there are guests on The Kyle Show.
A rundown of current Bravo lawsuits before a stroll through the first of three RHOBH reunion segments that focuses on debuting fashionable looks, rehashing storylines, and teeing up issues between Dorit and Kyle, and 8.5 Anne and almost everyone. Between Dorit's "wait, lemme take a selfie" delay, Kyle's revelations about her upbringing, insights and apologies from 8.5 Anne, and Crystal clocking-in, it was a packed episode. This recap is of the uncensored and unedited version shared on Peacock.
A rundown of the 2016 Secret Service led prosecution of Chris Psaila, half of the celebrated L.A. design house, Marco Marco, after Erika Girardi's allegations of $787, 117.88 worth of fraudulent charges on an AMEX card Tom paid but had begun to object to, with Volkswagen asking, "Now why am I in it?" A review of Chris' 2023 lawsuit allegations that Erika's longtime choreographer Mikey Minden, assistant Laia, and an AMEX representative/investigator also played a role in maliciously prosecuting him, plus a description of his receipts filled with texts, sketches, and images supporting legitimate charges for goods and services that challenge his now dismissed indictment that could have resulted in over 150 years in prison. Just this month, Erika lost an attempt to dismiss his lawsuit and a Secret Service buddy of Tom's filed to remove himself from this narrative. After listening to this pod, you'll understand why.Content discussed and reviewed is pulled directly from lawsuit filings, L.A. Times articles, statements made on the Housewife and Hustler HULU documentaries, and a generic legal definition of anti-SLAPP laws. Opinions expressed are my own.
The well coddled gang wraps up a season of medical gaslighting, failed redemption arcs, and marriage issues with one of Kyle's classic white parties. Erika performs and is apparently under the belief that she sold out a stadium, Sutton shares words of advice with her daughter over jewelry, and Dorit expresses concern about her relationship before the episode focuses solely on Kyle, Mo and their family reacting to a press leak about a separation. Kyle shares new information that seems to contradict comments she made earlier in the episode. Farewell Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Season 13.
Take a puss pattin' walk through fields of irony and madness where a woman who couldn't apologize for her own callous behavior, that caused additional pain to victims of the decades long Girardi embezzlement scheme that funded her lifestyle, spends an entire episode saying she wants an apology. Sutton's impulse buy horse Santos is a delightful distraction, 8.5 Anne lures people to her stair laden home with diamonds where Crystal delivers a great retort to her confrontation, Dorit continues to play "where in the world is PK", Garcelle and her sons help amplify a campaign against cyber bullying, and Kyle and Mo show us what could be the most awkward spousal interaction in RH history.
A recap and opinion of Hulu's second documentary detailing crimes spearheaded by Tom Girardi and the Girardi | Keese law firm. Failings of the California Bar Association are highlighted as well as the current status of ongoing legal battles for both Tom and Erika, including an overview of the Marco Marco lawsuit referenced on an episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when she mentioned wearing a wire in a federal investigation. The 2-hour documentary also provided an update on several client-victims and focused on a group who welcomed a sit-down with Erika in the hopes that she would no longer refer to them as "alleged". This recap cites the Hulu documentary and L.A. Times articles.
A recap of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, recounting the details of the final dancer's leg of the group's trip to Spain where Merce Cunningham's name, and ashes, found their way into the biggest mouths in Beverly Hills. Highlights include an awkward flamenco dance, heartfelt commentary from Sutton, van ride tips from the ladies on different kinds of bears and not getting embroiled in a spouse's financial scams, with bonus footage of Dorit's continued advertisements for high fructose corn $yrup.
In this dive we learn more about the chaotic path the custom made earrings have taken that involves multiple robberies, a lengthy HOA lawsuit, and a dalliance with tax authorities, all of which led to the bankruptcy trustee having ample documentation when the time came to confirm items purchased with client funds. We also review bad karma origins of another piece from the "Girardi Collection" and contrast Erika's desire to hold onto the spoils of ill-gotten goods with others who were eager to part with lavish gifts unknowingly funded by Tom's clients. This dive cites information from multiple L.A. Times and N.Y. Times articles, as well as court case filings.
