Holy shit! the constant giggling is beyond annoying! trying to get through episode 1 and I can barely concentrate on anything you are saying because it's like listening to a couple of kids talk
Jennifer Coolidge played an Angie in The Closer (Dial M for Provenza) 😂 was an Hilarious episode! She was brilliant and exactly as you would expect her to be as an Angie 🤣
YESSSSS!!!!I've been waiting for this one ! Love you George you absolute legend❤️❤️❤️❤️
You guys are so hysterical! 😁 "..PTLA." "What is that? It's PTL." "Why do I keep saying that? It's not the PTA." lol
Mr goodbar on YouTube for free!!!
I love you guys but the Door Dash thing, really? Have you noticed every day online there's a new "story" about someone who delivered food for Door Dash and gave birth on someone's porch and they didn't know they were pregnant or something like that? Hint- these stories are all made up. Hello! It never ceases to amaze me how people assume because they read it online, it really happened! It must be true! It's like the social media equivalent of the National Enquirer or "Weekly World News" headlines you used to see in the line at the store. It's just online now. 🙄
Its sad that people believe what they hear from persons who are just giving opinions and not facts. No research done on some of these bios. Great. You read a book about that person.
You guys crack me up! Love your show. NM Christmas book was so cool and absurd back in the day. The best gift I ever saw in there? His and her polo ponies! I still want that and I'm single! PS: We only had one Spaghetti Factory where I was so I didn't know it was a chain either. Ooops.
Robert Durst, Karma is a *itch.
I am so excited for this. I'm going to wait until part 2 drops.
what I feel I like the most about this podcast. is the obscure interesting stories. I don't think you would hear anywhere else. the amount of research detail is excellent!!
the cat was really enjoying this episode
She wasn’t old enough to go to a club..20 years ago..still in middle school..that’s why she was surprised that there were entrance fee to get into a club back then..lol..
Sorry girls, but I have to disagree with you about Andrew Lloyd Weber’s musicals. They are pretty great, and in this case ima have to tell you your taste is up your ass lol
Desi and Rachel have great banter. It's a shame that banter takes advantage of people in the most traumatic and devastating moments of their life. Perfectly capturing the voyueristic and heartless intentions of most true crime listeners, Desi and Rachel waste no time glorifying the “edgy” and “thrilling” escapades of brutal murderers and rapists, to the point of purchasing and promoting merchandise based on serial killers, while relegating the victims to a position of mocking or insignificance. They never once consider that the families of these victims don’t want their stories to be shared, nor do they try to get their consent. Perhaps they are aware that victims are retraumatised when people discuss their suffering while minimising their pain/celebrating their abusers. Desi and Rachel for example, delight in giggling as they gratuitously enjoy “shocking” their listeners with all the gory details. But they forget there are real people behind them. Even victims from the ‘50s have descendants who are retraumatised when their brutal killings are reduced to entertainment for Desi/Rachels listeners. When they are not distracted by inane irrelevant gossip or insignificant banter, they are systematically celebrating the criminals who commit these murders while ignoring the victim’s pain. They also waste the final minutes of each podcast with an inane and irritating rundown of what food they have consumed each day which only further proves how they consider the brutal murder of an innocent, to be about as fascinating and meaningful as a microwaved burrito.
