Terrence Huntington, who composed the theme music for Home Theater Geeks, built his own home theater in the basement of his house way back in 2014. The space was very limited, but he made the most of it with a killer system. He called it the Duck and Cover Theater because it was barely big enough to stand up in, but once you were seated and the lights went down, it was movie magic.

Still, there's plenty to talk about with special guest Michael Heiss, industry journalist, consultant, and jolly good CEDIA Fellow. In Part 2, we talk about all the audio goodies he saw there, as well as some of the mega-demos.

Chris Weir built a stunning home theater with a fully committed Batcave design, and it's a wonder to behold. Scott Wilkinson featured it on AVS Forum 10 years ago, but it's still a marvelous example of what a man with twin passions for Batman and home theater can do. Zap! Pow!

A recent article on ZDNet talks about how modern TVs monitor your viewing habits using ACR (automatic content recognition) and why that could be a problem for you. The article also explains how to disable ACR in various makes of TVS, but the instructions don't always match the TV's menu system. Scott Wilkinson talks about this important issue.

Andy Z is building a home theater in his basement with a JMGO N1 Ultra projector mounted on the ceiling. Unfortunately, there's a big AC duct running across the ceiling; if he puts the projector in front of the duct, the image is too small for his screen, but if he puts it behind the duct, the image is too big. How to solve this dilemma? Scott Wilkinson offers some advice.
