Good evening, listeners, and welcome back to Horror Hill. As always, I’m your host, Erik Peabody. We’re back to double-features for a few episodes here, but tonight’s episode is a little special, because both stories are from the same author, Tom Russell. If a normal double-feature episode is like those creepy little girls from The Shining, then this is like if there was only one little girl, but with the head of the other one grafted onto her neck.

Good evening, listeners, and welcome back to Horror Hill.
I’m Erik Peabody, and tonight, we’ll be featuring a story by JR Hamantaschen, titled, “Bleecker and Bleaker.” I’ll let you know right now, this is a subtle one, folks, and maybe a bit more ambiguous than some of the other stories we feature on this show. However, I’m sure you’ll find yourself thinking about it long after it’s finished.

Hello there, listeners, and welcome to Horror Hill. I’m Erik Peabody, your humble host and narrator, and tonight we’ve got a nice, gruesome double feature to titillate your tremendous taste for terror. Oh, I’m sorry. Is the alliteration altogether annoying for such atrocious and abhorrent anecdotes? My apologies. In simpler terms, tonight’s stories aim to scare the shit out of you.

Greetings, listeners, and welcome back to Horror Hill. As always, I’m your host, Erik Peabody, and we’ve got a fun little episode lined up for you tonight. I know that we’ve had some longer stories as of late, so we’re going to mix things up with a few quick ones this evening. A couple of nasty little beasts that’ll rip into you, claw around in your insides for a while, and be gone before you know you’re bleeding out. We’re going to keep these synopses short today, so as not to reveal too much.

Well, hello there, listeners, and welcome back to Horror Hill. I’m your host, Erik Peabody, and we’re going to be doing a double-feature this evening, with two stories that focus on the wonderful innocence of childhood. Children are such lovely, untainted souls, full of hope and kindness. And if you believe that, I’ve got a really nice bridge that I’d like to sell to you.

Good evening, my friends, and welcome back to Horror Hill. As always, I’m your host, Erik Peabody. Tonight, we have a story from JR Hamantaschen, who we featured earlier this season with his story, “Sorrow Has Its Natural End.” Good ole JR has impressed us here at Horror Hill, with a writing style that is both lyrical and eviscerating. Along those lines, tonight’s story is titled “Vernichtungsschmerz,” which means, “the pain of annihilation” in English.

Well hello there, listeners, and welcome back to Horror Hill.
As always, I’m your host, Erik Peabody. After the surreal story we had last week, I figured it would be a good idea to balance it out with something a bit more traditional, and what’s more traditional than a good ole haunted house story?

Good evening, my friends, and welcome back to Horror Hill. I’m Erik Peabody, your host on this stroll into the garden of devious delights, and tonight we’re going to be reading a story from TheVesper’s Bell. You might remember previous stories by The Vesper’s Bell that we’ve featured, including “Still Awake,” and “Hoofprints in the Snow.”Tonight’s tale opens with just about the worst way a person can wake up: disoriented, groggy, and on an operating table.
This isn’t any normal operating room, though, but a large surgical theater at least 100 years old. As if this wasn’t enough, our narrator is paralyzed, has almost no memory, and... is that a brain in a jar next to him? This one is particularly grisly, listeners, so steel yourselves. Also, I’d like to mention that Rissa Montanez of the Creepy Podcast will be joining me today, performing several roles in this story. Please join me in welcoming her to the show.

Good evening, listeners, and welcome back to Horror Hill. I’m your host, Erik Peabody, and we’ve got a double-feature for you tonight, both of them looking at the dynamics of romantic relationships from two very different angles. We’ll be starting with quick little chiller called “A Familiar Voice,” by NM Brown. Austin and Liamare a newly-retired couple, who have decided to spice up their lives with a hiking trip in snowySri Lanka. When Liam mysteriously goes missing, his husband pulls together a search team to find him. Unfortunately, the oppressive elements are not the only danger they face.
Following that, we’ll be diving into “The Downward Spiral,” by Richard C. Morgan. In this story, our narrator, Alec, is in the crosshairs of his vindictive soon-to-be-ex wife, Caroline. As Caroline systematically destroys Alec’s life, he’s forced to find new work wherever he can. Unfortunately for him, the only place that’s hiring is the “Paranormal Pork Broadcasting and Weiner Lounge.”Greasy hotdogs and supernatural occurrences are the daily specials, and Alec finds himself struggling to hold onto his sanity while he fights to get his life back.

Well hello there, listeners, and welcome back to Horror Hill. We’ve got a good one for you tonight, from an author that’s brand new to the show, JR Hamantaschen. I’ve been familiar with JR’s work fora few years, and am happy that we finally get to... bring him into the fold. This story is titled, “Sorry Has Its Natural End.” Meet Max, a young man in his early twenties with two big problems. The first is that he has lost most of his sight to a degenerative retinal condition. The second is that he has let his situation embitter him to the world. One morning, Max stumbles across an account of another person with a similar vision issue, someone who has just had cutting edge surgery (pun very much intended) and has now regained his sight. Max, filled with sudden hope, reaches out to this person, unaware of the horror that he has already set into motion.

Good evening, listeners, and welcome back to Horror Hill. As always, I am your loyal host, Erik Peabody. Now, I need to warn you in advance about tonight’s tale. When you hear the title, you might think that we’ve gone soft, that we’ve started bringing more family-friendly fare to thistable. But I assure you, this is no story of athletically-inclined canines, partner-cops sharing alaugh in the face of danger, or friendly little aliens that befriend local children. I don’t want you jumping to any conclusions here, even though tonight’s feature, written by Lucretia Vastea, is titled, “Buddy.

Def needed a TW
I kept waiting for the story climax but it never happened. This wasn't scary. Just nihilistic and a downer.
"Listener Discretion is Advised" is not a strong enough warning for the second story. Calling the first fifteen minutes of story 2 "torture porn" is about the best description I can give. It is overly graphic and for no good reason. Skip it.
👍🖤 Love the Town Music!
The story doesn’t end. It gets cut off just at the climax and then replays the first act.
read the CEREMONIES BY T.E.D. KLEIN, a prolonged version of poroth farm
Omg. A story written by chatGPT. No human writes like this. Tom said. Then Eric said. The flower paled to her radiance. Painful.
definitely should have added a TW for the dogs in the bathroom... that was rough
Top drawer ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
meh. pretty anticlimactic and not especially scary.
cannot get enough of the 2nd story 🤣☠️ LOVVVVE me some Ash!
I think I will try this pod.🫠
to much blabla. seems like the writer had to fill out some paper...
that first story was so STUPID and typical, heard that one about every other tale.. ... nothing special here
Wtfff it cut off
Hey that's pretty exciting that you guys are narrating the T.E.D.KLEIN book, I read THE CEREMONIES and it was pretty damn cool, so that makes this show cool!!
24 minutes in, and I can't figure out what the hell is happening in this story or why I'm supposed to care. The writing style does not work well in this medium.
alright so, WTF happened, in the first one there is just a massive loose end...... what happened?!?!
Hate to be that guy, but the Nanny is around 1,200 feet, not 12,000 feet. made me do a double take. Great story!
❤
