Description

Enjoyable, face-paced, and inventive. 1 part Raymond Chandler, 1 part Philip K Dick, and 1 part bathtub tequila.
I stuck it out through the bad sound editing (music and f/x super loud, phone dialogue way too quiet) because I'm a sucker for speculative fiction noir. But the last two episodes were so disappointing they left a bad taste in my mouth. E9 really felt like they were hastily jamming puzzle pieces together in any way that kinda-sorta fit; they would have been better off cutting the boring "Man Upstairs" plot and spending E8 exploring the science fiction subplots. And it would have made a hell of a lot more sense if (rot13 for spoilers) gur Oynpx Ebfr unq orra gur tvey va gur gnax, juvyr gur crefba oruvaq gur favcre jnf Iren urefrys.
