Joining me on this week’s podcast are two instrumental parts of my team and the reason behind the success of my most reason challenge R41M.  Charlie my physio and Nick my strength and conditioning coach have elevated my performance and enabled me a far more sustainable approach to my training with the intention of producing longevity with what i set out to achieve. This episode was hugely insightful and will help so many with their approach to both performance and the recovery side of things. With a wealth of knowledge and experience behind them, this will help all runners, and anyone testing themselves physically.  Comparison is the thief of joy, so many can relate to this, we discuss how this view can be improved to ensure the most fulfilling outcome for you personally. With whatever you have set yourself, this episode could change your present and the future outcome of it.
Joining me on this week’s podcast episode is the hybrid athlete and fitness influencer and arguably one of the most impressive people I follow - Lucy Davis. In this episode we chat about her journey in the last 2 years, going from completing her first half marathon, to recently finishing the 350 mile Speed Project race in the US. Before her love of running, Lucy started in the gym helping her become stronger physically and mentally after overcoming an eating disorder. Since then she has established herself as a hybrid athlete and has grown hugely successful online. We go into the deeper meaning of why she is not afraid to be vulnerable, sharing her highs and lows that come with everyday life. Her success online comes with the price of being criticised and trolled about her body and her performance, something that so many can relate to. We delve into what impact that has on her and how she motivates herself to keep going on.
Joining me on the this week’s podcast is the well known TV personality, physician, and the UK’s youth mental health ambassador - Dr Alex George. Alex’s work is having a huge impact around the UK making it a healthier and happier place. After the tragic loss of his brother, Alex has gone on to use his platform to improve the system and ensure more will be done to support people around the UK struggling with their mental health. His message is a powerful one and comes from the heart. Alex’s journey has not been an easy one, but it has shaped the person he is today. Sobriety has changed his life and taken him down a new path, with a refreshed mindset he’s directed his attention to new things and running is something very new to him, I’m excited to hear what his new passion looks like for him, and what impact this has had on both him personally and the invested audience he has.
Joining me on this week's podcast is world champion triathlete, Beth Potter. There is so much about this woman that inspires me, her story is what makes her one of the most interesting individuals in the sport and her continued success is having a profound effect around the world. Beth’s journey to the top was not an easy one, balancing a job to fund her dream of competing at the highest level, for me she is the definition of grit and determination. Age is often seen as a limiting factor, but Beth defies this and continues to broaden the mind of what’s possible. There is so much to be learnt from her. The journey is never easy to get to where you want to go, but this episode will help you make that first step.
Joining me on today’s podcast is one very special guest, my little girl India. This is the first time we have ever done something like this together. We’ve been through so much together, it was so special to finally sit down and look back on some of the moments we’ve shared. It’s fascinating stepping into a 6 year olds mind, one of the best qualities a child has is no filter, they speak their mind and from the heart. In this episode we covered a wide range of topics like India opening a nail salon, what she thinks Daddy does, planning our next adventure together, and one of the biggest moments of the year, finally revealing my new book cover for the first time. India has inspired me to face so many of my fears, it was interesting hearing what hers were and how we face them together.
Joining me on today’s podcast is one of social media’s best known medical doctors and nutritionists, best selling author and podcast host - Dr Hazel Wallace aka @thefoodmedic. After working as a doctor in the NHS, Hazel took the decision to leave and go full time building her business. In light of the widespread confusion and biased information around health and nutrition, Hazel has dedicated her time to educate and improve the lives of others globally. Our conversation delves into various aspects of nutrition and its impact on both physical performance and mental well-being. Hazel sheds light on the profound shift in mindset individuals experience when transitioning from nourishing their bodies for aesthetic purposes to focusing on performance. Additionally, we explore Hazel’s new found passion for running and strategies for optimal pre, intra, and post-exercise nutrition.

Joining me on today’s podcast is Savannah Sachdev, one of the most impressive individuals I know, running a distance every day consistently for over 900 days and counting. Savannah has faced so many hurdles in life as she navigates her pursuit of happiness. In this episode Savannah speaks openly about her cultural heritage, and how so many have questioned her personal ambitions in life. The expectation to conform, and how questioning that by going against the grain has changed her life and given so many around her a first time at life too. This episode is hugely thought provoking and will empower so many to believe in their own journey.
This week’s episode is with one of the greatest ultra endurance athletes of our time - Sean Conway. Just a few of his highlights being, Sean recently breaking the world record for completing 105 Ironmans in 105 days, he was the first person to swim the length of Britain, is the only person to have completed a length of Britain triathlon, has completed the world's longest triathlon of 4200 miles and has the world record for the fastest self supported cycle across Europe.  We tap into his unforgiving mindset, that allows him to push through the extreme physical challenges he undertakes and we question whether his biology is unique in order for him to complete these challenges, or is it possible for anyone to achieve them.
Joining me on today’s podcast is one of the most exciting runners and social media influencers in the UK right now - Jonny Davies. Jonny made the huge decision to quit his 9-5 job to pursue his love of running and recently completed a monumental challenge of running the entire London Underground network, a huge 570KM in 11 days. Jonny is the definition of courage and crazy, we talk about the impact of his recent challenge on himself, the others around him, why we do the things we do and finding the places we belong, which for him was the online community he created through his love of running.
Joining me on today’s podcast is one of the world's most exciting athletes, Olympian, Commonwealth, and world champion triathlete Alex Yee. Alex shares his insights into the power of psychology and its great influence on his athletic career. He highlights the importance of embracing the process and that the ultimate objective should not overshadow the journey itself. Whether you're an elite athlete or simply enjoying a park run, his message resonates: embracing the moment is key, and the pursuit of perfection, often half the addiction, is ultimately unattainable.
Joining me on today’s podcast is Anna Archer, one of the world’s biggest lifestyle and fitness profiles. In this episode, Anna shares her incredibly raw and honest story about her childhood and the impact of the relationship with her father and his passing.
