In this conversation, I’m inviting my own personal therapist, Laura Williams, a licensed professional counselor, to discusses the complexities of boundaries, walls, and the false self. She is sharing a different perspective when it comes to boundaries - how they are often misunderstood and why it’s important to use curiosity in understanding personal wounding. The conversation highlights the relational nature of boundaries, the impact of unhealthy relationships, and the necessity of self-reflection in personal growth. Laura provides insights on how to navigate emotional challenges and the significance of accountability in healing from trauma. I’m so excited for you to be able to hear, it feels like you’re getting a seat inside your own therapy session, for free.

Today we are covering the trifecta of healing: The Mind, Body, and Soul. When it comes to our own healing journey, we tend to favor one over the other, and while its great to pick a lane to get initial motivation going, ultimately you’ll find these three elements are intricately connected and ultimately non negotiable. Even more than “balance,” I’ll be sharing how the goal is integrating mental health, spiritual connection, and physical well-being as well as a few personal experiences over the last 18 months on how these elements interact and affect overall health. It may feel a little unconventional, but go with me on this… I promise you, it’s worth it.
In this episode, I'm diving into the taboo topic of people pleasing and the cycles that often accompany it. The conversation begins with an exploration of personal patterns and how they manifest in our lives if left unchecked. I'm sharing my own journey of recognizing my people-pleasing tendencies, the impact of external validation, and the importance of self-discovery in a whole new way. Hopefully, this discussion will emphasize the need to break free from societal 'shoulds' and to empower us to make decisions based on personal desires rather than external expectations. It's time
We put people pleasing to bed, and end this heinous cycle of self abandonment in the name of "caring."
Welcome to season 3, our pivot into THE HEALING ERA! A new season focused on healing and personal growth. 6 months ago I disappeared on the heels of what felt like a midlife-crisis. Turns out, it was an awakening. I'll be discussing the challenges and disruptions that led to the awareness around taking time for self-reflection and healing. This conversation explores coping strategies, the significance of taking a sabbatical, and the interconnectedness of mind, body, and soul in the healing process.
Today we are back with part 2 of this conversation surrounding the idea of "all or nothing." In part 1, we focused heavily on this idea of shame and how it plays in both hustle and recovery.
In part 2 I'm focusing on this real time conversation around social media, particularly Instagram. There have been so many opinions weighing in on the app. Today, I'm sharing mine, plus the one life saving tools I've discovered in how to navigate our all or nothing relationship with the social media world: boundaries.
Today's episode is part 1 of a two part series around extreme ways of working & living. Very much based in a real time conversation, I'll be sharing my insights on the "all or nothing" mentality and the bi product that way of execution creates: deep shame. Buckle up friends- it's gonna be a bumpy ride...

I think it's safe to say that fear and entrepreneurship go hand in hand. And while fear is a POWERFUL emotion, I think it is misunderstood. Often times, I’ve found having fear around something can have his connotation of “bad”…. If I feel fear, it must mean this is a bad thing? Perhaps… or, maybe it's telling you exactly the direction you need to make moves towards. Today we’ll be diving into how to better understand our own fear, what it’s attempting to communicate with us, and how to partner with fear to create something that matters, instead of letting it be in the driver’s seat of our lives.
Burnout is real. And the truth, it’s killing more dreams and desires than all haters put together combined. Over the years I have combatted on and off burnout throughout multiple professions. What I’ve found is, it’s not a matter of “If” you’ll burn out, it’s a matter of “When” you’ll burn out. I’m sharing my personal burnout stories and the 7 things I’ve implemented to help combat it. Although burnout is a powerful force, it doesn’t not have to have the final say in your story.

On the very first episode, after a year away from the podcasting space, I’ll be discussing where I’ve been. I’ll be sharing some of the insight’s I’ve had over the last 365 days and why it’s important to make shifts and pivots in both life and business, even though they can be challenging. I’ll also be casting vision for the show. This is an open invite to the direction of the show and the heart behind the name :IN IT

Today is probably the most important podcast I’ve ever recorded, mainly because I am brining you inside my personal story of what ultimately sparked this healing era. I also have my incredible friend and spiritual mentor, Corina Cook on the episode today! Corina walked beside me the last 2.5 years, quite literally “IN IT” with me- As we recount the transformational journey, we are discussing the challenges that arose, the importance of friendship, and the process of breaking down emotional walls. I’ll be sharing stories of struggle, growth, and the pivotal moments that led to my current state of resilience and self-discovery. This is a story about the significance of support, faith, and the choice to overcome offense in order to thrive. There is so much power in forgiveness, letting go of burdens, and the journey towards emotional healing. And even more power through realizing healing is not something you have to do alone in your own strength- but rather through surrendering control, welcoming the invitation of prayer and the impact of truth in recognizing one's identity beyond pain and anxiety. There is so much freedom if we can choose the option to heal. Hope you guys enjoy...
This past week I asked for any and all questions regarding my healing journey and was floored by the overwhelming response. The most pressing being: "I'm so overwhelmed Where do I even begin?" It's okay friend, I have been there too. Today I'm responding to all the questions you guys asked in a special bonus UNCUT hour long episode!
I’ll come right out with it.
Today is about how to navigate when people are talking about you.
I think we all deep down want to be like and accepted, no one wants to be judged and discussed.
But it doesn't changed the fact that it hurts.
And it's hard.
Today I'm sharing a bit of my own personal reflection of how I've navigated being the subject of commentary for some time, the mistakes I made in handling it in the past, and the shifts and changes I've made to navigate in this season a healthier way.
So much of it is ultimately beyond our control,
but we can always control how we respond and the routes we take regardless.

You hear this word more these days more than maybe you hear a lot of words, and rightfully so. Life continues to become increasingly more tense and burdensome, and it is only natural that worry and anxiety would follow.
By no means today is it my goal to offer clinical counsel, but I do feel an urgent need to share my own personal story + experience when it comes to combatting anxiety.
No matter where you're finding yourself today on this journey, I truly believe freedom is possible. I never believed it, until I experienced it for myself....
I talk to so many people who say they KNOW they need to start using their voice more, but don't!
Why are we so afraid to speak our minds, share our thoughts and let our unique voices be heard?
Well... I'm sure for many reasons, past experiences, fear of judgement, etc.
On today's episode I'll be helping you understand how to use your voice + also discuss a few ways you may be hurting your ability to use your voice.
We're here for a short time people. Time to use the voice you were given to reach those you were meant to impact.
We've talked before about when to knowledge the timing of making the next bold move- But today's episode is for those who know THEY KNOW they're in the season of bold moves!
I believe there's a 3 step process for making it happen for this next season, and I don't think you can skip over them either. All 3 are required for what's about to take place for you in your growth journey these next 3 months.
In today's episode I'll be talking about how to step up, stand out & how to step forward boldly so that you can experience all that has God in store for you.
Have you ever caught yourself searching for the next thing? Perhaps you're there now, frantically feeling the pressure of the endless pursuit of "the next thing" phenomenon.
Our culture is obsessed with keeping up with others out of fear we may fall behind, and if we aren't careful, this hamster wheel to nowhere will rob us of our present day joy in the work we're doing.
Today I'm sharing my first hand experience in navigating the hardships of my own endless chasing, but also the lessons and freedoms I've experienced since discovering the secret- that the next thing, is truly right NOW.
Today, we're going there
We have electric cars, working on travel to mars and AI generated renderings of my kids who haven't been born yet,
But for whatever reason, we can't seem to evolve out of the mean girls phenomenon.
It's a topic that I feel has been danced around long enough, and due in part by the massive amounts of those asking for advice around this very topic,
I figured, enough with the dancing.
Time to cut straight to it- calling out the mean girl spirit so that ultimately we can end this cycle once and for all.
If you came for tea, well hon, I'm afraid you might be part of the problem.
But hopefully- by the end of the episode, you'll be a part of the solution....
Do you feel you've been in your comfort zone a little too long?
Do you feel like you're holding yourself back?
Do you know the difference between when your comfort zone is serving you or harming you?
On Today's episode we'll talk about discerning our comfort zone.
We'll talk through how to know when it's serving you and how to know when you've made camp in a place it's time to move beyond.
And if and when it's time to move beyond it, how to step up and step out to fully owning what gods called you to do.
It seems to be the season of holding ourselves back. Maybe out of fear of what others think or maybe not having all the steps to feel ready. Maybe it's imposter syndrome or feeling unqualified to pursue the thing we feel called to do.
It's not going away. The longing.
The deep knowing. A sense that we were meant for more.
And yet, we, not anyone else, keep stopping ourselves right in our tracks.
Maybe it's not a hater. Or a skill. Or the time
Maybe, the thing, the only person stopping you, is you.
And maybe, just maybe it's time to let all that noise between your ears go.Maybe it's time to step up and step out. Maybe, today,
enough is enough
