This episode points to some critical ideas you need to commit to memory (or a sticky note)
You can always find 3 ways forward in every situation
Update your identity to always be expansive
Never settle for a life without hunger or passion
To change you life you have to change your story
Get really good at pattern recognition, pattern utilization, and pattern creation
Now’s the time to take action and implement at least one idea a day, a week, or a month. Whatever you choose to do, make it a consistent practice, and go after it with 100% energy and focus.
QUOTES:
“The mindset has to destroy any limitation and move forward.”
“Success without fulfillment is the ultimate failure.”
“Success is getting what you want. Fulfillment is living what you’re made for.”
“If you don’t grow, I don’t give a damn how much you’ve got going for you, you’re going to be miserable.”
“Great times create weak people, weak people create bad times, bad times create strong people, strong people create great times.”
“Self-esteem doesn’t come from what other people say about you, self-esteem is earned within yourself.”
“When identity expands your whole world expands.”
“What I see is the one common denominator that people are successful over a lifetime is the sustained hunger. Hunger is the number one factor.”
“It’s not the problem, it’s not the trauma. It’s finding what you value more than the trauma.”

If you’re following government guidelines for food and health, watch this episode very carefully, as the industry and policy lies being exposed are triggering.
Calley Means has been advising politicians and prominent food and pharma companies and has founded his own company, TrueMed, to expose and change the food industries causing harm that the healthcare industry is profiting heavily.
Calley shares from experience working with big food industries and losing his mother to a succession of foodborne illnesses that have everything to do with food that’s leading to cancer, Alzheimers, heart disease, obesity, autoimmune conditions, and depression.
Thoughts that exposes areas you can start rethinking and changing right away:
$10 billion dollars is transferred in a year from the government to soda companies through food-stamps, part of a nutrition program designed to to help low income families.
Lower income men die 11 years younger than higher income men, largely because of diet
Healthcare, big pharma, food companies, and public policy makers make the solution for metabolic health sound extremely complicated, but it’s really not complicated,it’s just not beneficial for them.
You and everyone around you is being sickened by preventable metabolic dysfunction. Now is the time to get educated and manage your risk and the risks to your family and the environment we live in. This may be the best place to start your research to take action on not being poisoned and blinded by the food and healthcare industry lies. Consuming ultra-processed foods, seed oils, copious amounts of sugar and highly processed grains is not in your best interest.

Calley Means Quotes:
“Cancer, Alzheimer’s, heart disease, obesity, autoimmune conditions, these are all going up and they are all foodborne illnesses, and the fact that there is not clear communication about that from our medical leaders and public policy leaders, I think is the biggest scandal in America and the most dangerous scandal.”
“Today when you hear about the opioid crisis, 80-90% of people that overdose and die from illicit opioids, that started with a prescription pad.”
“Prediabetes is violence occurring to their cells, a child born today has a 45% rate of obesity or being overweight, [...] 40% of 18 year olds right now qualify as having a mental illness.”
“We need to stop recommending poison and stop subsidizing poison and the free market will figure it out.”
“95% of the experts on the USDA nutrition guidelines committee receive personal payments from food and or pharma companies.”

How is it possible a healthy diet doesn’t increase your lifespan! Is it all for nothing? Today we’re diving into longevity myths we’ve believed for too long.
Peter Attia, co-founder and Chief Medical Officer of the popular fasting app, you probably have downloaded right now, Zero, and the bestselling author, podcast host, and longevity health expert, is breaking the mold and exposing why we’ve been thinking about lifespan and healthspan all wrong.
His latest book, Outlive, debunks many of the ideas you may have sworn by around diet and what an optimized lifespan looks like.
In part 2 of this 2 part episode, Peter starts breaking apart the calorie debate and why it doesn’t hold, the emotional side of longevity no one talks about, and how to know which of the 4 horsemen of death is coming for you.
Peter is exposing common misbeliefs around longevity and how quality of healthspan and length of life are very different. Peter simplifies how to optimize your efforts now for a longer lifespan with quality. Think about what you want to be able to do in 40-50 years and start managing your exercise and lifestyle for that.

QUOTES:
“Living longer is not accomplished by living longer with disease. Living longer is accomplished by living longer without disease.”
“True prevention needs a set of tools that medicine 2.0 doesn’t participate in. Medicine 2.0, which is the medical system that everyone of us who’s trained goes through, is largely a pharmacologic playbook.”

His latest book, Outlive, debunks many of the ideas you may have sworn by around diet and what an optimized lifespan looks like.
In part 1 of this 2 part episode, Peter raises really interesting points on how the size of a person doesn’t accurately point toward metabolic health. One-third of the people that meet the criteria for obesity are actually metabolically healthy and have the same life expectancy of a person with a “healthier” BMI.
What we’re getting wrong about longevity?
Diet isn’t the cure-all it was presented to be
Someone with an obese BMI can be metabolically fit
A lean person who’s metabolically unhealthy has worst outcomes
We’re exposing common misbeliefs around longevity and Peter, being the longevity health expert he is, is highlighting the differences between lifespan and healthspan that is critical in how we achieve success for each of these outcomes.
Stay tuned for part 2 of this episode where Peter starts breaking apart the calorie debate and why it doesn’t hold.

QUOTES:
“If you consider the difference between a person that doesn’t have type 2 diabetes and someone who does, it’s literally only the difference of one teaspoon of sugar in the blood.”
“High cardio-respiratory fitness and high muscle mass and strength are more predictive of a long life than anything else we know.”
“What good is it to have a brain that works if your body actually does not.”

Only 12% of Americans are metabolically fit. Metabolic flexibility may not be the first thing you think of when fasting comes up, but it is one of fasting’s many benefits. Intermittent fasting is often used as a tool for weight loss, but it’s not done properly in most cases.
Dr. Mindy Pelz is the holistic expert grabbing millions of people’s attention by educating them about fasting, weight loss, and reclaiming their health. Mindy is a recognized leader and pioneer in the fasting movement. Mindy’s depth of knowledge with fasting for men and women shows in how practical and not complicated she makes fasting .
In this episode Dr. Mindy really simplifies fasting at every stage, whether you’re a seasoned pro at fasting or brand new and not sure where to start. Mindy’s approach and belief is that the body can heal itself and optimal health and weight management can be achieved through the simplicity of intermittent fasting
Doing the same fast for too long is the best approach to fasting
Change 3 things today as you start fasting to improve metabolic flexibility
Fasting is about healing in our natural state not just weight loss
Fasting myths, low carb food lies, and cauliflower pizza devastation
It’s best to focus on glucose spikes not counting calories
Check out Mindy’s book, Fast Like a Girl: https://www.amazon.com/Fast-Like-Girl-Healing-Hormones/dp/1401969925
QUOTES:
“If you want the whole world of fasting to become much easier, the first thing is to change three ingredients. Change your oils, change your carbs, [...] and get off any toxic ingredients.”
“Fasting is like sleeping, it is our natural healing state.”
This is how your body burns fat. It does not burn fat by manipulating food, it burns fat by manipulating when you eat and how much time you’re giving the body a break from whatever food you’ve chosen, that’s how you lose fat.”
“We’ve overcomplicated food and we need to just come back to how do I get that food in its most natural state where it hasn’t been touched by man, and then I pair that with these different fasting windows. I truly believe that is the diet that most humans should be working from and that’s how we end chronic disease.”
“We often don’t need motivation to eat different, we need momentum.”
“I want to make health approachable for everybody, not just the people who can afford it or the people who can understand it…”

Until now, you probably haven’t associated infertility with the collapse of our global population. From the U.S. to India, to South Korea, Canada, the U.K. and more, fertility rates are reaching critical levels. Humans now meet 3 criterias for being an endangered species.
If that doesn’t have you totally rattled yet, our guest today, Dr. Shanna Swan, epidemiologist best known for research she published in 2017 which set off alarms and caught the attention of major media and scholars around the world, joins Tom to highlight the many factors contributing to a 50% drop in fertility rates, testosterone, and reproductive function.
Shanna’s work quickly became the world’s 26th most referenced scientific paper, and her latest book, Count Down: How Our Modern World Is Threatening Sperm Counts, Altering Male and Female Reproductive Development, and Imperiling the Future of the Human Race, delivers a less than optimistic view of guaranteed economic population collapse.
The information Dr. Shanna shares brings up major concerns for the future of humanity as a species and for our current health.
Chemicals leading to our extinction have some government incentivizing people to have sex and procreate.
Women’s education and rights to contraception, and urbanization are contributing to women’s lack of interest in birthing 5 and 6 kids.
Endocrine disrupting chemicals are nearly unavoidable as they’re in what you eat, drink and breathe
The under masculinization of males is an actual problem impacting their lifespan
Lifestyle factors are part of this conversation and include obesity, stress, binge drinking, and poor metabolic health
Shanna gives a masterclass on phthalates, a chemical found in plastics that make them softer, helps products be more absorbable, holds scent and color better in everyday products we’re accustomed to using, and she shares a simple poem to help you identify safer recycled plastic options. Looking at the number on your plastic bottles, commit this to memory…
“5,4,1 and 2 all the rest are bad for you.”

“Our identity is really just a story which we constantly construct and embellish. The entire human mind is a machine that constantly produces stories, and especially one very important story, which is my story.”
“Fantasies often shape history and cause people to do terrible things.”

We may have unintentionally swung the pendulum on women’s rights and equality in a way that is creating unforeseen consequences for men and boys.
We’re talking about male inequality and sorting through some of the biggest contributing factors affecting fathers, sons, husbands, and boyfriends. The mounting data is telling a story of women being able to live well without the need for men and in the absence of a well defined male role in our modern society, men are on the decline.
Males are struggling with education, agency, purpose, and seeing higher numbers of suicide.
Richard Reeves joins Tom Bilyeu to highlight some key points that we as a society must take into consideration as we decide how to move forward. Richard was named one of the top 50 thinkers in the US for his work on class and inequality. He’s also the author of the book, Of Boys and Men.
Disturbing factors Richard is underlining in this conversation includes:
Women no longer need marriage to survive and marriage is proving to be more important to men than women
Deinstitutionalization of masculinity in a cultural problem
Biology, culture, and the individual thrive together and not apart from one another
Check out Richard Reeves book, Of Boys and Men: https://www.amazon.com/Boys-Men-Modern-Struggling-Matters/dp/0815739877
QUOTES:
“Boys and girls are struggling in different ways at different points in their lives."
“When you took the brakes off women, it turns out they can drive the car faster.”
“We have to think about biology and culture as co-evolving and most importantly recognizing biological differences doesn’t make culture less important, it makes it more important because culture is how we learn how to express or not express these tendencies, or when it’s appropriate to express them and when it’s not appropriate to express them.”
“A big reason for the gender pay gap is parenting, [...] it’s not just that mothers earn and work less, it’s that fathers earn and work more, and that drives the gender pay rate up significantly.”
“There is a problem right now with boys and men, and one of the sources of that problem is, we don’t have a new script for masculinity. We’ve torn up the old one, the breadwinning one, but we haven’t replaced it.”

You should be aware of social inequalities that perpetuate injustice, but where does awareness cross the line and potentially become harmful to you and the society you’re part of?
Konstantin Kisin is a comedian, social commentator and podcast host of the show TRIGGERnometry which celebrates freedom of speech. He’s had guest on such as Bill Maher and Ben Shapiro while tackling the harder conversations around woke culture, war, and highly sensitive politics most people avoid.
Konstantin has been named Jewish comedian of the year and has played at some of the UK’s biggest comedy clubs. In this two part episode Konstantin is discussing woke culture, the idea that victimhood sells and is therefore incentivized to younger people.
Tom and Konstantin explore the Western culture values that should be preserved and the danger of a toxic culture that rather complain about injustices that actually go to work on finding real solutions and fixing problems/
The idea of trading things that work for ideas that merely sound good is discussed quite a bit and it’s influenced by Thomas Sowell’s quote from his book Is Reality Optional, “much of the social history of the Western world over the past three decades has involved replacing what worked with what sounded good.”
QUOTES:
“The very best things that I’ve experienced has been the result of overcoming adversity.”
“If you have a system which amplifies ideas that sound good but don’t work that’s how you end up in the position that we’re in.”
“There are things that will cause human suffering now that will cause human flourishing ten years from now. Delayed gratification.”
“As someone who has experienced racism, I don’t think it should be illegal to be racist or to say racist things. It should be illegal to discriminate against people because of their race, [...] but people should be allowed to have and express pretty much any opinion in my view.”
“In many ways I would argue that free speech is unnatural and that’s why it has to be fought for repeatedly.”

If you think you really understand Alzheimer's, think again! Alzheimer’s is scary to witness up close and personal and even scarier when you consider that anyone who’s had Covid-19 is at an increased risk for developing Alzheimer’s!
How many people in your immediate life does that impact?
This conversation is for the people who’ve had Covid-19, people who want to think sharper, and people who are worried about developing Alzheimer’s.
An astounding 45 million people currently living in America will die with Alzheimer’s disease and according to Dr Dale Bredesen, this number dwarfs the high rates of death we just experienced with Covid-19, it’s just a slower process.
This special episode is a panel discussion with two of the world’s leading experts on Alzheimer’s, Dr. Dale Bredesen and Dr. Richard Johnson.
Dr. Bredesen is an international neurodegenerative expert and the author of, The First Survivors of Alzheimers, a book that spotlights first person accounts of his patients that not only survived Alzheimers, but who got back a second life to live with meaning and fulfillment.
Dr. Richard Johnson, the fructose expert, wrote the book, Nature Wants Us To Be Fat. His focus and research points to the connection between Alzheimer’s disease and sugar.
This conversation between experts is enlightening and has a few points you’ll want to take note of to further discuss with your healthcare professional. Dr. Bredesen reveals why a complete assessment of your brain, blood levels and more needs to be completed as early as 40 years old to start taking preventative measures to protect yourself from Alzheimer’s.
Alzheimer’s has been referred to as type 3 diabetes and both experts agree that this disease is an insulin resistant state of the brain. What can you start doing today to lower your risks and the risks of the people you love?
QUOTES:
“My generation, the old timers now, is the last generation that should fear Alzheimer’s, it is literally becoming optional” -Dale Bredesen
“Features of metabolic syndrome which is obesity, diabetes, insulin resistance, all of these are risk factors for Alzheimer’s.” -Richard Johnson
“Sugar and high fructose corn syrup are two major culprits that probably have a role in the cause of Alzheimer’s.” -Richard Johnson
“So many people get this wrong, a keto diet versus a plan rich keto diet, it makes all the difference. For brain health you want a plant rich ketogenic diet with appropriate periods of fasting.” -Dale Bredesen
“When you’re talking about Alzheimer’s you’re also talking about mental performance.” -Dale Bredesen
“People who developed Covid-19 are at increased risk for developing Alzheimer’s.” -Dale Bredesen

When we talk about testosterone, it’s mostly associated with men, and when it’s too low it’s a big problem for libido and physique among other things. In reality it’s an important hormone for everyone, women included, but not many women are as concerned with TRT or testosterone replacement therapy like men are.
TRT and any kind of hormonal therapy is a big deal and should be approached with caution and lots of research. As a generally healthy male thinking about TRT, how much thought should you be giving to optimizing your testosterone levels over optimizing your physique for optimal health?
This episode is a deep dive into the kinds of things men will want to consider when thinking about testosterone, burning fat and building muscle. It goes without saying, your quality of sleep and diet play a major role in monitoring your testosterone.
While we all have an ideal body-type we think is the best, no one wants to have a stunning physique, inflated ego and testosterone so low your sex life becomes non-existent.
Derek of More Plates More Dates, shares his thoughts on what you should consider doing if you want to get jacked in 18 months being natty and how to differentiate being lazy from being defeated by unrealistic expectations of what’s achievable without drug enhancements.
Shawn Stevenson steps into the latter part of this episode to talk about your metabolic fingerprint and individualizing your health and diet goals in a practical way that actually works for you.
Derek of More Plates More Dates hit 1 Million subscribers in less than a year of starting his YouTube channel with total dedication to all things self-improvement in the health and wellness arena for men.
Shawn Stevenson is the best selling author of Eat Smarter and host of the Model Health Show where he’s talking with world-renowned experts on health, fitness, and nutrition. If you’re tired of feeling trapped in the web of marketing lies from the food industry and misinformation bombarding you every time you scroll on social media, this episode is for you!
Millions of people are basically being tricked and misled into poor “healthy” food choices that make you unhealthy and even more overweight. It’s safe to safe diet and exercise are two of the best ways to have better health and lose weight but even that advice is being tainted by the medical research community, doctors, and companies with monetary agendas.
This episode is going to expose why counting calories doesn’t work and how it totally ignores the complexities of our human bodies and the environments we live in. It’s going to explain why exercise isn’t the best thing for most people to start with that are trying to lose weight. Finally we’re revealing how so-called “healthy” foods are as unhealthy as the fast food you’ve been told to avoid.
Tim Spector, professor of genetic epidemiology, award-winning scientist and author has been published in the world’s top scientific journals. His work has involved finding the link between genetics and disease. Part of that work includes exposing the lies and myths around nutrition, diet, and how to eat for better health.
Tim is also the co-founder of Zoe, a weight loss program and nutrition study designed to look at your gut microbiome, your blood sugar, your diet and more from day to day to help you improve your long-term health and reach a healthier weight.

Human behavior even when it seems to be erratic is predictable. In fact, CIA super spy, Andrew Bustamante says “humans are laughably predictable.” If this is true, then why do you struggle with relationships and achieving our desired outcomes?
Former CIA intelligence officer, Andrew Bustamante teaches spy hacks to help people get the ultimate advantage in business and life. The CIA taught Andrew a better way of explaining what reality actually is; he now demonstrates how espionage shapes life for everyday people like you.
This interview covers some really interesting areas of human psychology that you may be aware of but haven’t fully connected the dots on. People are motivated to survive with given resources, and learning how their motivations shape their drive and personality puts you in control of your relationships and the opportunities you decide to move on.
Key topics Andrew touches on in this episode:
-The 3 lives everyone lives but not everyone admits to
-Why the people ultimately self-destruct
-How the new world power transition plays out over the next 10 years
-The bloodless war in China to keep your eye on
-Foreign power influence in US elections

“What CIA taught me was a better way of explaining what reality actually is, and the reality is that 98 percent of human beings are trapped in their own perception, so the two percent that live in the real world that have perspective, they are able to manipulate the perception of everybody else.”
“It’s how you use another human’s predictability that defines whether you typecast as hero or villain.”
“The more a person’s resources are depleted, the closer they get to their true Myers-Briggs personality.”
“Questions are always being asked by the person in control of the conversation.”
“Confidence is a perception, not a real thing. Confidence is how you perceive your own emotional reaction or your own emotional relationship with the environment around you.”
“We are hardwired to survive, we are not wired to thrive.”

Donald Hoffman, Cognitive Psychologist and Science Author, has proposed a theory of consciousness that challenges your everyday assumptions about what reality is. His argument is that our perceptions of cause and effect and what we experience in the physical world isn’t as real as you’d like to think.
The metaphor of the virtual headset he uses in these conversations with Tom explains why our experiences are limited and there are things like freewill that we never truly experience. If that’s not heavy enough for you, Hoffman bring mathematical equations into the picture to explain that all consciousness is mathematically structured.
This episode is a complete crash course into the world of Donald Hoffman and the illusion of space, time and reality. Some areas you’ll hear explored in this episode include:
Is Cause and effect real?
The God hypothesis and consciousness
Why your reality isn’t real
The Truth behind consciousness
How evolution hides the matrix (and what’s the red pill)
Testing reality & spacetime
Can you actually escape the matrix?
Do you think it’s possible life is a simulation and we’re in some version of a virtual reality headset?
QUOTES:
“Everything that I believe about me is very different than I believed when I was five, and so over the years and decades of my life, I’ve put together this story of myself, [...] a self is a story that we weave, it’s a narrative that we give.”
“That’s something about a really good scientific theory, once you write it down you become a student of your theory.”
“The equations become smarter than the genius who wrote them down.”
“You can’t directly experience your own free choices. You can experience that you chose, but you can never actually experience yourself choosing.”
“Mathematics is like the bones of the living conscious experience, they can’t be divorced from each other. There’s more to experience than just math, but there’s not less than math.”
“At the foundation of every scientific theory there’s this moment of humility, explanation stops here.”
“We’re creating reality as we render it.”
“When we have babies, in a way that we don’t understand, we’re opening new portals into the realm of consciousness.”

“Obesity is a choice. This doesn’t mean it’s easy to solve, but it is a choice. YOU MUST accept this or you will never solve this problem.” -Sal Di Stefano
The statement above either has you nodding your head in agreement or has you feeling a bit pissed off. If being overweight has been a recent or even a lifelong struggle for you, it’s hard to hear that you’re actually choosing to be overweight, but when you understand the power of extreme ownership over every area of your life, including your body you may start approaching your health much differently.
Whenever health and weight loss come up, without a doubt diet and exercise are part of the conversation and first on most people’s minds. What if there are other factors more important to not just losing weight, but to keeping the weight off long term? What if exercise isn’t as important as we’ve been told?
This episode with Sal Di Stefano is exposing the lies millions of people fall for that lose weight every year only to gain it back. Why is Sal so confident after 20 years in fitness that obesity is a choice people are repeating day after day?
Sal Di Stefano is the co-founder and CEO of Mind Pump Media, podcast host of Mind Pump dedicated to delivering the absolute raw truth on health and fitness, and the bestselling author of The Resistance Training Revolution.
If you find yourself choosing foods based on taste and convenience, if everything you try to lose weight ultimately leads to more weight gain and you’re over being obese, being unhealthy, and being unhappy with the way you feel, make sure you’re taking action today and asking yourself the one question Sal says will change your life.
QUOTES:
“You have to accept the things that you can’t change, but you also have to take responsibility for the things that you can.”
“Years ago as a trainer, I first started out thinking that losing weight will help people become happy. It took me ten years to figure out, you first had to learn to be happy before you could really lose weight.”
“We use food rarely as a way to nourish ourselves, and rarely do we eat because we’re genuinely hungry. Most people in modern societies never really feel true hunger.”
“The fitness space is riddled with bodies that look ripped that belong to extremely unhealthy, dysfunctional individuals.”
“Obesity is a very outward, visible, obvious sign of poor health or dysfunction.”

Super podcast episode ... very informative ... bought Mindy's book for my wife!
YMCA!
This one didn't do it for me. He didn't sound convincing nor invited me to go down the rabbit hole to explore his point of view.
Great, thank you, I could listen you two for hours no end.
nice description and tempting for me
This man, Yuval, is as evil as Hitler was. I have been listening to you for years and will continue to because you're awesome. But giving people like this a platform is concerning.

Bleeping every time Tom B. uses the "f" word is ... disruptive. When and why did this start?
I loved the previous pod with Trap & Tom, and this one doesn't disappoint at all. Thank you🙏🏼❤️💯🔥

Vitamins play a huge role in the modern world. The main thing among all the variety is to learn how to choose the right thing that will help you improve your health. I found the best option for me here https://www.amazon.in/Prorganiq-Multivitamin-Vitamin-Minerals-Antioxidant/dp/B0BK5J9YJK

An excellent primer and reminder of the proven core principles of how money the economy and wealth operates. We are at such a crucial time in history (no hyperbole) that people are going either feral, or fetal. Tom's candor is always a welcome voice on this subject, especially in the opening when he very plainly states how money is a ridiculously misunderstood subject. When we finally accept that it's not really complicated, - the economy, both micro and macro - but we all have complexes build up around it, then we can begin to unwind the faulty programs that are keeping us impoverished. Alright. Thank Tom. Peace Love Unity and having Big Ambitions Hotep Y'all 🌄
