Here’s your special preview episode of the new series Elizabeth the First – about the remarkable life of Elizabeth Taylor. In this preview, we learn how Elizabeth’s ambitious spirit was unmistakable early in life. The relationship with her parents and the push into the glamour and prestige of Hollywood collided with the reality of a male-dominated business – one that was more interested in making Taylor a product, than the person she knew herself to be. Headline News says ‘I love Elizabeth the First’ and the Toronto Star says the podcast is ‘sumptuously produced’. Hosted by Ash Kelley and Alaina Urquhart from the hit show Morbid. When 90-year-old Laurence Pilgeram drops dead on the sidewalk outside his condo, you might think that’s the end of his story. But, really, it’s just the beginning. Because Laurence and others like him have signed up to be frozen and brought back to life in the future. And that belief will pull multiple generations of the Pilgeram family into a cryonics soap opera filled with dead pets, gold coins, grenades, fist fights, mysterious packages, family feuds, Hall of Fame baseball legends, and frozen heads — lots of frozen heads. In early February of 2022, law enforcement officials in Boone, North Carolina made national headlines when they announced that a 50-year-old unsolved triple homicide case had been closed - with the help of none other than former “Dixie Mafia” member Billy Wayne Davis. The 1972 murders of Bryce, Virginia and 18-year-old Bobby Durham was one of the most notorious cases in the state’s history, one surrounded by numerous theories and conspiracies. Davis’ admission that he was present on the night of the murders is only part of the story of what really happened.  IN THE RED CLAY – DURHAM is a brand new 6-episode second season of the award-winning series detailing the case of the Durham family murders from 1972 to present day and features interviews with enforcement officials, investigators, and family members of the victims and the killers. Make sure to binge Season 1 to catch-up and don't miss the premiere of season 2 on November 21, 2022. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit podcastchoices.com/adchoices

Really wonderful storytelling. Well balanced on many ethical and human points. So glad Stoney chose you to tell his story. Would have been an absolute shame to go undocumented for the future. Excellent job.

Cool podcast, but didn’t bring anything positive to my life. Not into glorifying the life of a killer. It’s about like glorifying the nazis.
