Whilst Brexit is not responsible for all of our problems, it certainly has played a part in making us poorer and exaserbated our economic problems - so why are we talking about these failures more? And what can we really do about it? FIFA has told football players heading to the world cup to focus on the football - and avoid any political statements or gestures that could offend the Qatari government. Can we really seperate football and politics? And should we boycott the world cup?

Hey listener, we’ve got a new LBC podcast that we think you’d like called Sweeney Talks with old-school reporter, John Sweeney. John is trouble. He's taken on Vladimir Putin, challenged Donald Trump, and after months of uncovering hard truths in Ukraine, he’s back. John is never silent about what he’s experienced. Sweeney talks, and in this podcast, so do his guests. John speaks to people like him, who are not prepared to be part of the silent majority. They refused to toe the line, and have found themselves in trouble. Big trouble. Activists, agitators, heroes… or villains. You decide. Listen and subscribe to Sweeney Talks on Global Player. https://www.globalplayer.com/podcasts/42KuWd/ Go to Global Player for exclusive bonus episodes where John offers candid reflections on what he's discovered during each interview, what surprised him and what we can learn from it all. https://www.globalplayer.com/podcasts/42KuWb/ Download it from the App Store or go to globalplayer.com

James, to your second caller. The obnoxious one. I have news for him. He voted Brexit and Tory twice . He helped put BJ in 10 Downing Street. He is indirectly responsible for this fiasco and the needless deaths of 100,000 people. ThT is the reality whether he likes it or not.

The show needs to be uploaded the day it is broadcast otherwise it's already out of date...

Something is wrong with this podcast. Most of the times when you fast forward or go back, the podcast jumps all over the place. For some reason these podcasts are not updated regularly. For a daily weekday show, you wait 2-4 days 🤔

The mute gap between segments, are too long. Iv'e noticed that the player reaches the end but the audio continues... don't know if it's my phone or the encoding.

Podcasts only every other day now? I can't listen live due to work. If I can't hear all the shows I'll be looking for another station/show.
