Do you wish you could feel confident in your homeschool decisions? Are you concerned that you aren’t doing it right? Do you wish you could get answers to all your homeschooling questions? Are you struggling to balance all your roles in this season of life?

In this podcast, you will find tactical and realistic solutions to set you free from the concerns and stress of whether you are doing the right things.

My mission is to equip you in your calling to embrace and then thrive in your homeschool, motherhood, and homemaking.

If you’re ready to get out of survival mode, feel confident, and have peace in your heart and home--you’re in the right place!

Hi, I’m Leigh, a kingdom-minded wife and mom. I tried to duct tape my priorities together without the right focus for way too many years. I was busy chasing approval from others, trying to meet perceived external expectations, and flying by the seat of my pants as a homeschool mom.

I finally realized that if I was going to fully embrace the life I had, I needed to operate from a place of peace and joy. That’s when I planted my feet firmly where I was and began to create beauty, seek simplicity, and live intentionally. And I’m ready to share this with you!

If you are ready to love your life as a homeschool mom and to know for certainty that you are doing the right thing for your children--this podcast is for you!

Close up that lesson book, mama, let the kids go play, it’s time for you to thrive!

Let’s work together and get your homeschool to the place you just know it can be. We all can get stuck and not know what to do, how to adjust, or if we’re even doing it right. We’ll dive in deep to all the homeschool hot topics and create the homeschool that you and your children will thrive in!

Today's episode is a little off topic from what I usually discuss on the podcast. However, it is one of my favorite things to chat about...right after Jesus and homeschool. But, I've been asked so many times online and even in person about how I lost 30 pounds and I want you to learn the "secret" to weight loss as a homeschool mom too. I promise no gimmicks or sales pitch! Just the honest truth of how I achieved this goal. You're going to want to take a few notes and listen to the follow-up episodes below to get the full picture. Wouldn't it be so nice to sit down across from each other at a cute coffee shop and chat all things homeschool? And I would promise to answer all of your questions, including the one where you want to know what I wish that I knew when I began. Until we can meet in person, how about you grab a cup of your favorite hot cocoa, tea, or coffee and pop your earbuds in? I've already admitted to my fair share of homeschool mistakes on the podcast and I am not ashamed of these 4 things that I will share with you today. The goal? Well, it's for you to glean a little from what I would do differently. The question is not if you will ever feel burned out as a homeschool mom, it's when. And this time of the year tends to be a common time for moms to feel like this. There are a few factors that contribute to burnout and the key to overcoming it, so you can stay in the game with homeschool, is to recognize the signs, get to the root cause, and create a reasonable solution. Burnout should not lead to shame. Rather, it should bring us to our knees so that you can surrender the day and your homeschool to Jesus. All is not lost. What if He has a greater plan for you that is on the other side of the burnout feeling? Let's be honest with one another, pray more, and lean in through this process...together. ♥ Leigh   DESIGN YOUR FAMILY'S UNIQUE HOMESCHOOL THAT YOU'LL LOVE! https://littlebylittlehomeschool.com/blueprint   CREATE YOUR HOMESCHOOL FAMILY'S HOME TASK SYSTEM https://www.littlebylittlehomeschool.com/tidyhome    GET EXCLUSIVE MENTORSHIP WITH LEIGH https://littlebylittlehomeschool.com/mentorship   SIMPLIFY YOUR MEAL PLANNING https://littlebylittlehomeschool.com/meal     Website -  https://www.littlebylittlehomeschool.com Newsletter -  https://littlebylittlehomeschool.myflodesk.com/subscribe Instagram - https://www.instagram.com/littlebylittlehomeschool/ Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/littlebylittlehomeschool/     Listen to these related episodes: 172. 5 Ways to Help Instill Faith in Your Homeschool Child and Why It Is Worth the Time    366. 4 Controversial Things We Did In Our Parenting    426. Meanwhile, let's tread into the territory of what to do when our expectations for how a child would be is not the same as the child you are parenting, keeping ADHD kids focused for homeschool, and how should you "teach" music to your children? Few topics elicit more feelings than the ones surrounding how to raise our children. I think a pretty close second is homeschooling since everyone has an opinion about education. Let's step into deep water today and combine those two and discuss an often used phrase in our culture. I know you've heard it and have your own thoughts. "It takes a village to raise a child." With two adult children and an older teen, I've seen and heard a lot and have had my own experience so I thought we should discuss this subject. What do you say?
