When you hear the word 'surrender' what comes to mind? Most people associate surrender with losing… but what if surrendering is exactly what you need to do to experience miracles? In this episode, I share how Surrender is an ancient practice on the spiritual path, one that can lead to healing, abundance, and miracles. The idea of letting go seems counterintuitive in a culture that continues to push, push, push! But what if holding on and trying to force things to happen is blocking your manifestation? 2) Surrender is a natural part of the cycle of nature. Every Autumn the trees release their leaves, and the natural world prepares for Winter, letting go of every unnecessary thing in the process. Every night you enter the great surrender of sleep where deep healing happens. What if you did this consciously and not just during sleep? 3) The seven sorrows rosary corresponds to the seven chakras. It is also similar to the story of the descent of Innana who must discard something at each level as she descends to the underworld. Have you been following all the advice about manifesting a life you love? What if I told you NOT to do that…that there is something way more important to focus on when it comes to creating a life you love? Most women pour so much energy into the things they love, the people they love, the work they love… without giving any thought to whether they are being loved back. In order to do that, you are advised to focus on thinking about what you love and pouring all your energy into those people, places and things. But for women, this can backfire! 2) Women naturally pour their energy into the things that matter to them, the things they love. They are usually the first ones to volunteer to help in most situations and can burn themselves out. Why? Because they are only focused on giving, and not on receiving. 3) To create a life you love, focus on creating a life that loves you back! I have lived in many places that I loved, but that didn't love me back. When I lived in NYC it was great at first, but I soon realized that the pace and lifestyle of the city left me feeling drained and depleted. Although I loved New York, New York didn't love me back, not enough anyway. After asking a few questions, I discovered the root cause of their problem! They aren't manifesting for the right reason! Rather than focusing on manifesting something that lights them up, they are focusing on manifesting something to feel better about themselves. Manifesting from low self-esteem often backfires and makes you feel worse about yourself. What does the energy of October hold for YOU? Answer: Paying off debt is actually the 'how.' Stay focused on the 'what' which is being financially free or having a million dollars in savings and investments. The more you focus on the debt, the more it will stick around. Use the 'Core Four' practices in the Magnify Your Miracles Journal every day to help you do this. 2) Question two: "What could be blocking my money manifestation?" Answer: Let go of the idea of having a block with money. Instead, ask "what part of me doesn't feel safe receiving more money?" Or 'why am I choosing to experience this?' A good practice to do to receive more money is forgiveness. The Universe is always mirroring our energy, so if we are withholding energy but not forgiving, the Universe withholds from us too. Forgive freely and be open to receive abundance. 3) Money is connected to the second chakra, the sacral chakra. The big issues with this chakra are emotions, relationships and creativity. If you are experiencing challenges with manifesting money, practice feeling good every day. Raise your vibration by raising your emotional frequency. Have you ever had a book that you read again and again? Manifesting Miracles by Neville Goddard is one of those books! Every time I read it, I learn something new. This book is so simply written, and yet contains profound spiritual truths about life and the manifestation process. Neville Goddard was a master at the Law of Assumption, and his teachings have the power to change your life in the best possible way! In this episode, I share directly from this miraculous book and explain his unique view on the Bible as a blueprint for manifestation. The second half of the book contains answers to questions he was asked at his live lectures, many of which are things you or I might ask him today if we had the chance. Rather than attraction, Neville taught about 'assumption,' which is acting and feeling as if your wish is already fulfilled. 2) One of Neville's key teachings is to fall asleep every night in the feeling of your wish fulfilled. He believed that if you could do that, you could manifest anything you desire. Neville believed that our own consciousness IS the consciousness of God, and that with focus and feeling, we could create our world exactly as we wish. 3) One of the most fascinating ideas that Neville used to teach is that he believed none of the people in the Bible are real people. He believed that the entire Bible was a blueprint for how to practice the Law of Assumption. Even more interesting, he believed that our own imagination was the 'kingdom of God within.' Is there a simple way to magnify the miracles in your life? The simplest way I know is to begin saying NO to the things you do not want to experience! My spiritual teacher, the late Rev. Ann Jefferson, taught me the spiritual healing power of saying NO to circumstances that do not align with health, wealth, and happiness. I am SO grateful that she did because I have been able to experience so many miracles in my life through this simple technique. Whenever something appears in your life that you do not wish to experience, immediately say NO to it, either mentally or aloud. When we experience something like an unexpected bill and immediately begin to worry, we are saying YES to that experience without knowing it! 2) Your subconscious mind cannot filter out information, that is the job of the conscious mind. When you see an ad for an illness or hear bad news about the economy, immediately say CANCEL, NOT TRUE FOR ME! This cancels that negative thought from being planted in your subconscious mind. 3) Saying no can feel hard, especially for women who were raised to be polite and to make others comfortable. But you don't have to say anything to anyone else, only yourself. Begin the practice of saying NO and CANCEL to yourself and watch the miracles unfold. Do you remember who first taught you to pray or meditate? Was it your grandmother, or perhaps the person who taught the first yoga class you attended? We have SO many spiritual teachers on the spiritual path, and it is important to stop and thank them. In the Hindu tradition there is an annual holy day called 'Guru Purnima' which is the full moon day we honor our Guru or spiritual teacher. The word guru means dispeller of darkness, meaning the darkness of ignorance. Any teacher can be a guru (with a small g), but Guru (with a capital G) is THE Guru, the one who awakens you to the truth of your being, and THAT Guru lives within each one of us. In this episode, I share a simple guided meditation to help you connect with YOUR inner Guru and express your gratitude for ALL the blessings you have received. I won't tell you much more than that because I want you to experience this meditation for yourself. But the Guru (with a capital G) is THE teacher, the one who awakens you to the truth of your being. And while it is wonderful to have a Guru who is in a body, ALL of us have the Inner Guru, the one who is always guiding us. 3) Whether you have a Guru in a body, or you are connecting with your inner Guru, take some time to sit and reflect on all the blessings you have received in your life. Be truly grateful for them. What does the energy of July hold for YOU? I was so curious about this question that I picked THREE oracle cards just for YOU, and I didn't get a message just for July… I got a message for the second half of 2025 too! In this episode, I share the three oracle cards I picked just for YOU from the Sacred Traveler deck, and weave together the THEME for this month AND for the rest of 2025!  These cards reflect the shift in energy that began at the Solstice and are inviting us to utilize the second half of the year to clear the way for a miraculous 2026!   Key Learnings: 1) The energy shift began at the Solstice and will continue through the second half of the year. The first card I chose for you for July is the Distant Thunder card, which invites us to 'clear the air' and quite literally clear our space! Take stock of what supports you and what is no longer needed, and let go of whatever you no longer need. 2) The second card is Traveling Lightly, which invites us to simplify our lives! This card expands on the first card, but gets a little more specific in helping us let go of mental clutter as well. 3) The last card is Solitude and the message is 'In Silence, Peace Prevails.' This card is for the second half of the year and it encourages us to bring our attention inward. This card does not mean you will be alone, but rather it encourages you to seek time alone to be with God. All three of these cards are helping us to clear up any loose ends, as it is a 9 year in numerology, a time of completion.
