In the 1990s, the Food Pyramid was one of the most recognizable symbols in nutrition education. But where did it come from? Why was it created by the agriculture department? I followed Rachel for about a year and around the time she adopted her daughter I stopped. I kept feeling like everything she put out there was so staged and privileged and repugnantly fake. I had forgotten about her until these episodes. Great podcast, great dynamic. Thank you.

I *am* your target audience (I love you guys!) But to correct your assessment of the drugs being banned, it's not just 'horse medication.' I'm currently using high-dose thymosin-alpha-1 peptide injections, which put my Graves and thyroid eye disease into full remission within a month. I won't be able to access this medication anymore very soon because of claims some providers and pharmacies made regarding using the peptide for COVID prophylaxis. So some of us will suffer in quality of life and in access to medication over these bans.

I really like this podcast normally, but can't agree with the takes in this episode. It seems to me that the author isn't talking about disordered eating and constantly thinking about food, but rather it's about making am effort to create healthy habits so you actually don't have to be constantly dieting. (the one thing I do agree with is sending a pic with your resumé is a terrible norm in much of Europe. It's normal here in the Netherlands and def leads to less opportunity for more diverse candidates)
