PAUSE… Take a big cleansing deep breath in through your nose. Hold at the top for a moment, And then exhale through your mouth. PAUSE… Relax deeper into your heart. LONG PAUSE… There may be regrets rising up to the surface of your mind. The healing you’re seeking becomes stronger in your awareness. PAUSE… Imagine for a moment that you’re slowly walking down a path lined with trees. Birds and nature surround you. PAUSE… You slowly notice your back is feeling heavy and painful. You stop for a moment to rest. You notice that the backpack you’re carrying is weighing you down.  PAUSE… As you slowly remove the backpack and set it on the ground its label marked, regrets. You already know what’s inside. LONG PAUSE… You might feel ashamed, And afraid to open it. PAUSE… But you know peace awaits you within. PAUSE… What regrets might be hiding in there?  Not playing big in your career? The regret of letting an old relationship go? PAUSE… Or maybe a regret about your body and health? Be here for a moment,  Present with what comes up for you.  LONG PAUSE… Breathe in love. Breathe in self-forgiveness. Breathe in compassion. LONG PAUSE… As you slowly open up the backpack, a butterfly softly flutters through the opening. You pause and watch it flutter away. A smile sneaks across your face because you know that the butterfly symbolizes one of your regrets. And you know the rest inside,  Desire freedom too.  PAUSE… Slowly open your bag,  And watch as one by one,  Butterflies escape, And regrets are released.  LONG PAUSE… You feel lighter. Feel it gather up the day, So you can ease into sleep.  PAUSE… Then feel your breath let go, Of anything heavy at all, As you exhale completely, And surrender to the night’s call. PAUSE… Breathe in and collect, Breathe out and release.  Breathe in with respect, Breathe out into peace. LONG PAUSE… The softness of your sheets, Will guide you through the night. The emotions and the thoughts, That are in pain and hurt.  PAUSE… Then exhale it all, All that’s broken inside.  Breathe it all out, Feel it all subside. PAUSE… Breathe in and collect, Breathe out and release.  Breathe in and collect, Breathe out and release.  LONG PAUSE… Now as you feel the space, Open up inside, Make a silent promise, You’ll protect it with pride.  PAUSE… The moment that you feel, This feeling arise again, Recognize the damage, It brings to you times ten.  PAUSE… Let that be the wisdom, You’ve learned from this pain. Flowing fluidly through you like a river. In, And out.  Breathing just a little deeper with every inhale, And breathing out just a little longer with every exhale.  PAUSE Stay here with your breath, Your portal to the present. Feel everything else fade into the background, As you become one with your breath.  LONG PAUSE If your future feels uncertain, If you feel uprooted.  If you keep playing scenes, Of what could possibly occur.  PAUSE You mix in all the emotions, With logistics that could happen. And pretty soon, you’re heavy, With visions that are a blur.  PAUSE Feel all the emotions, Of worrying about the future. But know that you, Don’t have to hold them.  PAUSE They can all float away, On the currents of your breath, Losing their power, To stress and overwhelm.  PAUSE So let them all go, The worries of the future, As your attention, Comes deep inside.  PAUSE Remind yourself you’re here, Planted in this moment, Nothing exists beyond this yet, On the other side.  PAUSE So find your breath again, And this time find roots, And dig deep, Into the now. I look up at the road, That suddenly splits in two.  So much arises inside. What if’s and maybe’s, Worries and excitement, My fear I cannot hide.  PAUSE… My hand comes to heart,  My eyes softly close, My breathing becomes slow.  I take a step forward, And then another until, I’ve set a course and I go.  LONG PAUSE… So Let’s Begin... I find myself wondering,  If I went the wrong way, If the other would have taken me far.  PAUSE… I look towards the dreams,  That I thought would exist, At the end of this road that I chose. I race fast ahead, Forgetting the point,  To feel the path under my toes.  PAUSE… Stop your striving, Slow your pace, Enjoy the path that you’re on. Take your focus, Off of the goal, And be here before it’s all gone.  LONG PAUSE… Right here and right now, In this sacred space, I’m exactly where I’m meant to be.  No matter which path, No matter the dream,  In this moment, I am free.  PAUSE… With fresh eyes I see, All I’ve endured, Has shaped who I am right now.  And all of those worries, That I’m not far enough, Start to dissolve somehow.  PAUSE… I breathe in deep, And fill myself up, With air that cleanses and clears. Deeper and deeper you go. All you feel is gratitude now, Surrender yourself to the glow.  LONG PAUSE… The people you know, The food that fills you up. The opportunities you have, The hugs that fill your cup. PAUSE… Even the hard times, That feel like they’ll break you down. Are full of hidden lessons, And blessings are there to be found. LONG PAUSE… So sink into gratitude, And swim in the ocean of gold.  Let it fill you with love, And warm you when you feel cold.  PAUSE… Falling,  Falling down. Deeper and deeper you go. All you feel is gratitude now, Surrender yourself to the glow.  PAUSE… Feel yourself sinking, Deep into the night. Hear yourself thinking, That everything feels so right.  PAUSE… When the endless blessings cover you, And warm you into bliss. Just a few clicks makes it easy for you to listen on your favorite podcast player.  Become a PREMIUM member today by going to --> https://WomensMeditationNetwork.com/premium Today’s guided meditation will give you a visualization you can use while in savasana position.    The very first meditation I ever experienced, Was at the end of a yoga class, As we melted into Savasana…corpse pose.  PAUSE… It was a magical experience, And I hope to give you a bit of that magic during this meditation.  So allow yourself to settle,  Inviting your body to lie down comfortably.  PAUSE… Now take a moment to stretch your arms as far above your head as possible, And then stretch your legs in the opposite direction, Elongating your spine, Stretching your body. PAUSE… Now as you exhale,  Release your arms and legs, And relax yourself into comfort. PAUSE… Feel what’s beneath you, The floor,  Or your bed, Or the couch, And just become aware of the weight of your body on top of it.  PAUSE… Now breathe in deeply, Expanding your belly as far as you can, Holding it for a moment, And then exhaling, Contracting the belly, And letting all that air go.  PAUSE… Relax even deeper,  Melting just a bit more with every breath out.  LONG PAUSE… Savasana, or corpse pose, Gives us a chance to practice stillness. To practice the art of being, And not doing.  To practice clearing our minds,  And softening our bodies. PAUSE… There is nowhere for you to be, Nothing for you to do. So surrender yourself to the pose,  Breathing yourself deeper, And deeper into this moment. LONG PAUSE… Allow your feet to part, Your legs to soften,  And relax.  Open your hips, And soften your belly. PAUSE… Feel a warming energy travel slowly up your spine, Beginning at the bottom of your back, And rising, Rising, Breath by breath, Melting you, One vertebrae at a time. All the way up to the top of your neck.  Breathe… PAUSE… Let your heart open, Your arms get heavy, And your neck and face, Soften and relax. PAUSE… Stillness is here within you, Behind the movement of thoughts, Past the highways of fear. Deep within the center of you. Right here.  Always. LONG PAUSE… Now slowly begin to wiggle your fingers and toes, And when you’re ready, Bring yourself to a sitting position.  PAUSE… Bring your hands to your heart, And take a moment to honor this body, The space, This practice. The light in me honors the light in you. The storm around you howls,  You don’t know what’s in store.  PAUSE You feel your feet leaving, The ground that anchors you.  You feel your heart’s fast beating, Fear starts flooding you.  PAUSE So breathe… And choose to take a pause,  Slowly detach from the storm.  Breathe… Observe your spinning thoughts, Now’s your chance to transform.  LONG PAUSE Like the eye of the storm, there is,  Calm inside of you.  Pools of peace awaiting,  To reflect to you what’s true.  PAUSE Answers to your questions, Solutions to the pain, Relief from all the weight, That you have had to maintain. PAUSE So breathe… And sink into the pause,  Let the storm pass on by. Breathe… Clear your mind of thoughts, The Universe hears your cries.  LONG PAUSE When storms come, it can be, Easy to react and stress.  This can cause a hurricane,  Causing a bigger mess.  PAUSE But when you learn to pause,  Amidst dark moments in life, You realize there are better ways, to handle the storm outside.  PAUSE Spirit starts to whisper, Sweet words that calm and guide. It’s deep within the pause that, You hear the wisdom she provides.  PAUSE So breathe… Be still within the pause,  No storm has power over you. PAUSE... That little voice inside your head, Whose words can soothe like honey, Or sting like a bee. PAUSE…  This voice can lift you up, And allow you to soar beyond your wildest dreams. Or they can drag you down, And keep you small and scared. PAUSE… So be mindful of your thoughts today. Allowing yourself to simply observe the voice that you hear. LONG PAUSE... Become aware of which words make you feel good, And which make you feel bad.  PAUSE… Which comments fill you up, Which comments deflate you.  LONG PAUSE… And as you become more mindful of your inner monologue,  Know that it is not you.  PAUSE… You get to choose and guide this voice inside.  LONG PAUSE… So let them pass you by and dissolve into the air, All those sentiments of judgment,  Regret,  Limitation,  And fear. They do not have to be yours today.  They do not have to be a part of your inner monologue now.  LONG PAUSE… Now inhale deeply,  And choose again. Choose to keep those words that build you up, Gently embrace, Encourage, And nourish you.
