PAUSE… Breathing in and filling you, Breathing out and relaxing you. PAUSE… Breathe in, Breathe out.  PAUSE… Feel yourself open, Ready to invite in healing.  LONG PAUSE… See if you can imagine,  A small, soft cloud,  Hovering over your heart. PAUSE… It’s light and warm, And slowly rains its healing waters upon your heart. PAUSE… Drip by drip,  You can feel yourself relax, And cleanse.  Relax,  And release all that is dark, All that is broken, All that is in pain. PAUSE… Feel yourself melt under the rain, Open, And soften.  LONG PAUSE… Now imagine this soft cloud of healing, Cover your head, Releasing its healing raindrops upon you. Relaxing you, Melting you, And washing away all that has been bruised.  LONG PAUSE… The cloud moves down your body, And hovers over your belly. Feel yourself soften and open to its presence.  PAUSE… Each raindrop enters you, Repairing what has been broken, Restoring what has been disturbed.  PAUSE… Feel yourself relax, Opening even further to the hum of the healing raindrops.  LONG PAUSE… Now imagine this gentle cloud expanding, Covering your entire body. PAUSE… Its warmth soothes you, And its waters soften you. PAUSE… Each raindrop falls upon you, Absorbed into your skin, And searches for the dark, Seeks out the pain. PAUSE… No memory can hide. Let it tickle your lungs, And fill you with peace. PAUSE Stay in his place of peace, And visualize it expanding through you, from head to toe, letting a calm wave flow over you. PAUSE Now, take a minute and breathe. Have you ever seen fresh milk from a cow? It’s white and thick and velvety, With its cream rising to the top. PAUSE So, imagine that glass pail  full of fresh milk, with a frothy layer of  delicious cream on top. Now, visualize what typically happens to the cream– It gets scraped away. PAUSE Now, breathe for a moment, and let your heart ponder why the cream is scraped away. Is it too much, too rich, too risky? PAUSE Imagine now, that same full glass of milk With the layer of luxurious cream on top. And, now if you can,  See yourself taking a spoon And blending that richness Into the rest of the milk. Now, take a sip.    PAUSE Visualize taking another sip, And feeling that richness and little bit of risk Flowing into you. Feel it empowering you  To take a chance, Do something you normally wouldn’t, Or to get past the fear. PAUSE The cream of the milk is the best part. And, while too much cream, may not be good, just the right amount can expand your vistas, open your eyes to new possibilities, and lead you in new directions. Find the parts of you that need to relax, That need to let go, And give them permission to do so. PAUSE Now, become aware of your mind, And any stray or distracting thoughts. Notice any thoughts heightening your stress, And give them permission to fade away. PAUSE Imagine now, Biting into something delicious and sweet. Like an orange, Or creamy chocolate, Or raw honey. Allow yourself to taste the sweetness. Become aware of how you feel, As it sweetness glides down your throat. PAUSE Take a minute and become conscious of your body As the sweetness moves through it, Feeling the joy it brings, And maybe a little energy or excitement, As well as deep contentment. Stay with those feelings. PAUSE Visualize those wonderful feelings flowing all through you, noticing how they smooth over tense areas, open up closed areas, and leave you feeling deep serenity and gratitude. PAUSE Now, imagine, if you can, Those feelings flowing out of you And into the world, And with every person they touch, That air of sweetness is breathed in. What would happen? Can you see the joy spreading? Sweetness can be contagious. PAUSE So, each morning when you breathe, remember to find the sweetness in your soul, and spread it into the world. Your day will be better for you, and for all those who experience the sweetness you share. And bring your mind to the present. LONG PAUSE Now, take a breath and gently scan your body for any areas of tension that you’re ready to release. LONG PAUSE As you focus on your body, whenever you come to an area of tension, breathe into it LONG PAUSE Imagine your breath opening any tightness or stress until you feel your whole body gently easing and relaxing. PAUSE Now imagine you hear a saxophone playing… and as you look around, you find yourself seated in a cozy jazz club. PAUSE On stage is a saxophone player with a black hat and hips that  swing to the beat. PAUSE The club is dark, and the dim lights cast a purple hue over the room  that mingles with smoke pirouetting in the air. PAUSE The sax player hits jazzy notes that bounce between  deep, husky lows  and vibrant highs. PAUSE And you find yourself moving in rhythm, gently bouncing from side-to-side  to the beat of the music. PAUSE As you look around the club, you notice men in wingtip shoes tapping their feet and smiling. PAUSE You notice women in dresses, with bright red nails, tapping their fingers to the rhythm  and smiling. PAUSE And, you feel a connection with these people, a feeling in your soul, as you move to the beat.  PAUSE Now, imagine a piano player appears on stage  and begins playing piano along with the saxophone player. PAUSE And some of the men who tapped their feet and some of the women who tapped their fingers get up to dance. PAUSE You draw in a breath  and feel the music as it flows through  your body. PAUSE The piano and a sax flow through you like a river, moving you deeper into the present. PAUSE The music swirls and twirls  within you, rising high and bold, and dropping low and mellow. PAUSE And as each note vibrates within you, it unleashes joy, joy that flows  throughout your body. PAUSE The sax and piano improvise, and you feel the music opening you, leading you in new directions, to new possibilities.  PAUSE You take a moment, and bask  in the new possibilities  unfolding before you PAUSE You breathe in deeply, and tuck these new possibilities into your heart, feeling gratitude  for the joy and excitement  they bring you. PAUSE And, as you leave the club, and walk into the night air, you feel the sax and piano playing in your heart, leaving you excited  for what’s next. Breathe deep and wide, So your body quiets, And so does your mind. PAUSE Allow your body to float, Free and at peace, While your mind lets go, To a place of ease. PAUSE And while in this space, Connected to the present, Allow your body to move into a future, That is healthy and pleasant. PAUSE While traveling to this place Ahead of time, Feel your pain disappear, And your body's tension unwind. PAUSE And, imagine if you can, The way your body moves and feels. Let the emotions and sensations of this experience Become real. PAUSE Hold onto those sensations. Hold onto those feelings. Know your body is moving to the future,  With flexibility and healing. PAUSE And, if any doubt, Happens to creep inside, Acknowledge it. Thank it. Then push it aside. PAUSE Stay in this place Where you want your body to be. The more time you spend here, The more you’ll set yourself free. PAUSE Because you have the ability To create the body you want, Free of pain, full of life, Just let go of those thoughts. PAUSE Over time, you’ll notice, A sense of physical relief, As long as you practice this, And truly believe. So, breathe. Breathe in the fresh start. PAUSE There are times in life when we say things that can be negative or hurtful. What we often miss when we say these things Is how they really affect us. PAUSE Now imagine, if you can, A moment where you said something negative. It could be something about you or someone else or something else. Avoid judging. Just acknowledge.   PAUSE Take a moment and think back to how you felt after you said those words. And, as you reflect, notice any feelings you had or that bubble to the surface now. Remember, whatever it is. It’s okay. You’re in a safe space. PAUSE Now, breathe. Breathe deep. Breathe, and let go. PAUSE Imagine, now, that every time you speak, your words flow from you like mist. And, as they flow, they touch others. Visualize speaking positive words. Watch what they do as they touch others. PAUSE Now, visualize speaking negative words. Watch what they do as they touch others. Hold those thoughts. PAUSE Now, draw in another deep breath, Imagine how speaking negatively impacts you. Do you feel good about yourself? Do you hurt? Is there added stress? Let yourself acknowledge this without judgment. PAUSE Breathe and Clear yourself, Cleanse yourself, Let go.   PAUSE Now imagine how you feel when positive words flow from you. Take a minute to embrace the difference in the feelings. Can you feel the warmth inside you, The calm, The joy– All the feelings that positive communication brings. Hold onto those feelings, And allow them to guide you whenever you want to speak. PAUSE And throughout your body, Let that joy spread, Feeling it deeply, From your toes to your head. PAUSE And while you stay in this space of a new attitude, Sprinkle in just a touch of genuine gratitude. PAUSE Practice this meditation, As much as you can, And you’ll notice you’re life changing, In ways you can’t understand. PAUSE Now, breathe again. This time tracing the path of the  life-giving breath through your body. PAUSE As you follow your breath, Notice its connection With your energy centers. Feel it expanding your root chakra, just below your spine, bringing greater grounding and feelings of well-being to you. PAUSE Now, follow your breath as it opens your creativity center, your sacral chakra, just below the abdomen. Allow its inspiration to flow through you. Visualize it charging that energy center, so you can speak your truth. PAUSE Now, visualize the breath Opening your third eye,  Sharpening your intuition and psychic ability. PAUSE And now imagine your breath as it moves through and out the top of your head, creating a path for the energy of Spirit. PAUSE Breathe in deep once more, and as you do, Let the awareness of your powerful energy in all energy centers become clear. You are powerful energy. Allow your muscles to just melt Into deep relaxation. PAUSE Feel your body lighten, As if floating on sea foam, Gently floating. Gently drifting. Deeper into relaxation. PAUSE And, as your body relaxes, Notice your mind letting go, Releasing all those distracting Or stressful thoughts. Like your body,  Your mind just floats. PAUSE Now, breathe in again, And as you do, Imagine having the power To wipe the stress And distracting thoughts From your mind. PAUSE Continue breathing, Focusing on breaths that  Open and clear your mind. PAUSE Now, listen as a tiny whisper Tickles your ear With the word “Believe.” Hear it repeated Over and over. Say it to yourself. PAUSE While hearing the word “believe,”  Raise your arm, And slowly, gently  Move it as if you're wiping a window. Repeat the motion a couple of times, All while breathing peacefully. All while truly believing. Know in your heart that You are wiping away the Tension in your mind, The stressful thoughts. The pressure you put on yourself. Now and in the future. PAUSE Take a moment, And just bask, In this place Without stressful thinking. You have the power to  Turn away those things From the outside, Those things that create  tense thoughts and stress. You have the power  To live in a calm place. Enjoy this moment. And embrace your power Now. Today. And every day Into the Future, With a simple motion of your hand. Breathe in its  fresh, delicate air. Let it enliven you. Open you. Fill you with joy. PAUSE Breathe in the sunrise, Orange,  and Purple, and Rose. PAUSE Breathe, and feel the presence of life, All around you, And in you. It is the presence of Spirit. PAUSE All things are connected to Spirit. Especially you. It’s time to bring forth that spiritual connection and make it part of your Future Self now. PAUSE Take a moment and breathe, And as you breathe, Acknowledge that every breath of air Is filled with Spirit. PAUSE Imagine now, walking outside, In the bright sunshine, With a cool breeze. See the grass shiny and green. The sky royal blue. The clouds puffy white. Take them in. Take Spirit in. Because Nature is one of Spirit’s most beautiful expressions. PAUSE And, as you walk along, you hear the trees, gently whispering to you In the breeze. What are they saying? What is Spirit saying? Listen with your heart. PAUSE Now, visualize coming back inside, Sitting in your favorite chair or couch, And just breathing. Taking in all the peace, the calm, the space for you in the Universe. This, too, is Spirit. PAUSE Hold this place in your heart, in your soul. Go there when you need to be reminded  of your spiritual beauty. Go there when you need tranquility. Go there just to connect  to the wondrous Universe of which you are a magnificent, energetic spark. Remember now and always, Spirit is everywhere. You are Spirit. But your life’s journey is the art of becoming you. Gathering up experiences and wisdom, While releasing the old, Like a kaleidoscope constantly in motion. PAUSE… Sometimes it feels smooth, Like you’re floating down the river of life. The waves playfully jumping onto your skin, Refreshing you, And delighting you as you float.  PAUSE… Sometimes it feels like you’re shedding your skin, Peeling it off one scale at a time, A snake slowly inching out of the old, And into the new.  LONG PAUSE… So settle yourself in deep, Resting into your center with every conscious breath.  PAUSE… Feeling the rhythm slow you down,  Relax you, And root you into yourself, And into this moment.  LONG PAUSE… Soften your face, Drop your shoulders, Relax the expanse of your back.  PAUSE… Feel your chest open, Your arms relax, And your belly soften. PAUSE… Come deeper into yourself, With every breath. Deeper into the stillness inside. Becoming one with your divine soul.  Calm, Clear, Aligned.  LONG PAUSE… See if you can feel the old layers, Peeling off, As new cells emerge. You are constantly changing.  PAUSE… See if you can feel the excitement of the newness, Bubbling up inside,  Creating,  And singing with life.  PAUSE… Let go of the judgment, Of others, Of yourself, And sink further into who you are.  PAUSE… Let go of the expectations, The scripts they’ve told you to follow, And honor your own mosaic of life.  LONG PAUSE… You are always becoming you. With every thought, Every action, Every decision. So melt further into yourself,  And surrender to your evolution. PAUSE There are times in life when we just don’t feel full, but we’re not really physically hungry. We hunger for something else. And yet, we eat anyway. PAUSE So, take a deep breath, and as you release it, allow yourself to drift back in time– to a time where you reached for food instead of what you needed. Now, give yourself permission to know what you were feeling. PAUSE Were you angry or hurt? Did you feel lonely? Were you exhausted and pushing to just keep going? Observe without judgment. PAUSE Now, imagine if you can, reshaping that experience. Take a deep breath, and whisper to yourself what it was you needed at that time. Hold on to that. PAUSE Now, imagine, giving yourself exactly what you needed.   PAUSE Breathe in again, and tap into  the relief of giving yourself what you needed. Let yourself really feel it. Relief. Peace. Gratitude. PAUSE Hold those feelings. And, as you do, whisper a promise to yourself… a promise that when you hunger, you will feed yourself what you truly need. Breathe into the promise until you feel it become part of you. Now, wrap your arms  around yourself in a warm hug. Then, go about your day, knowing that you will feed yourself what’s right for you. Now and always. PAUSE And, as you get to your work, You may not feel excited,  Because what you need– Your job’s not providing. PAUSE So, it’s time to take control, And put you back in power. It doesn’t matter if you’re salaried, Or work by the hour. PAUSE What you do is contribute, And that deserves recognition, So imagine seeing your boss, And giving them that explanation. PAUSE Now, envision your boss, As he or she responds, It’s now your time To think through the options to decide upon. PAUSE So breathe in some courage, And to yourself say, That if you don’t hear what you want, You’ll walk away. And cast aside the fear Of making a change. You can take your time. You don’t have to do it today.   PAUSE Now breathe, and shift your power, To manifesting the job you want. See how to create it, Beyond your thoughts. PAUSE And, as you keep this vision close, You’ll find that it will appear, In ways you weren’t expecting,  But when it happens, It’s clear. PAUSE Keep in mind your job Is just one part of you. And it can change, You have the power to create Something amazing, Something new. Breathe into. Feel it. PAUSE And, as you do,  clear your mind. Let any distracting thoughts wash away like the tide. PAUSE Now, imagine if you can, a relationship in your life that left you feeling  like you needed more. PAUSE It could be an intimate relationship, like a spouse or partner, a friendship, or maybe a relationship   with a parent, sibling or coworker. Allow yourself to see the relationship without judgment or frustration. PAUSE Now, visualize a magnifying glass that appears in your hand and gives you the ability to see inside and around all aspects of both people in the relationship. Take a minute and explore. PAUSE And, as the relationship is explored, let its intricacies–whether positive or negative– pass by you without judgment or emotion. You are simply an explorer. PAUSE Now, after exploring both yourself And the other person in the relationship, Imagine understanding what kept you Wanting more. Again, see it clearly without judgment or emotion.   PAUSE Now, visualize the other person as a one-quart pot of water, and you, as a two-quart pot of water. Hold the image. Can you pour two quarts into the other person? Can they pour two quarts into you? No, PAUSE Now, take a deep breath, and clear the image. Breathe once more, and let yourself understand that a one-quart person can never give you the two quarts you need. So, what can you do? You can accept that you need two quarts, and leave the relationship  because this person cannot give it to you. Or, you can accept this person  for the one quart they offer. You have the power to choose.  Any time. Anywhere. Always.
