In the midst of the worst economic disaster in US History, hope was being carried through the rural communities tucked amongst the rugged mountains of eastern Kentucky. The Pack Horse Library Project sent women on horseback through the most remote regions of the Cumberland Mountains to deliver reading materials to isolated homes and communities. The project gave hundreds of women their first taste of independence and purpose, and provided thousands of Appalachians their first glimpses into the world beyond Kentucky through the pages of books. Wilderness Therapy – some praise it, others shame it. In the 1980’s Steve Cartisano created the Challenger Foundation, the wilderness therapy camp that promised to reform wayward teens. It seemed like a perfect solution for concerned parents until kids claimed abuse, and others died while in camp care. It isn’t weird at all that you end up feeling compassion for an elderly crying man. Even if he were guilty, he is still a person — not a monster. And having compassion is a human response. Nothing adds up here. The amount of plausible deniability you have to apply to convince yourself of his guilt is ridiculous. This poor man is clearly not guilty.

Ladies, further research shows something way creepier about the Andrew Cunanan story! Cunanan grew up in California, not in New Jersey, BUT one of his victims was the caretaker of the cemetery that the creepy guy had walked down to visit before his chat with the storyteller. YIKES!

Outer Banks, North Carolina when I was a kid I would see lots of wild horses up until 2000 maybe. People ruin everything.

As with every podcast, I start at the beginning and binge to current episodes. This is where I stop since wokery has now wormed in. I can't believe I fought for a country full of little Marxists like y'all..... I bet y'all don't believe the current immigration crisis are people stealing land though....

Big Bend is beautiful. It is definitely under visited, ... which is great. Few places you can also see abandoned mine town.

Wow, this topic really brings back some amazing memories! Exploring a national park during the day is an incredible experience, but venturing into one after dark adds a whole new layer of adventure and intrigue. https://www.cleansway.com/london/business/customise-sticker I remember my trip to Yosemite last summer. After the sun had set, a group of us gathered to stargaze near Glacier Point. The sky was so clear that we could see the Milky Way stretching across the horizon. It was like a celestial masterpiece, far away from the city lights and pollution. https://www.announceamerica.com/london/marketing/customise-sticker
