Take a hop across the pond to Ireland’s Glenveagh National Park and Castle as we discuss one of its greatest mysteries. For as long as there has been economic inequality, there has been jealousy. From the outside looking in, it’s hard to pity someone who seemingly has it all – like a castle for a summer home. Arthur Kingsley Porter aka “The Indiana Jones of Architecture” seemed to have it all, and although it can be easy to judge the Gatsby’s of the world, appearances can be deceiving – they can prove that sometimes having it all just isn’t enough. What would you do if you had the world, but desperately wanted to leave it all behind?   We love our National Parks and we know you do too but when you're out there, remember to enjoy the view but watch your back. When conservationist Dr. Greg Rasmussen is flying the skies alone above Hwange National Park in Zimbabwe, his ultralight plane experiences a malfunction, causing him to crash land in the open African bush. Today we speak with Michelle Dowd, the author of the newly released book, Forager. Field Notes for Surviving a Cult. Michelle was raised within the boundaries of Angeles National Forest inside of a religious cult her grandfather created. She was raised to believe that the end of the world was near and in turn, was taught to forage off the land, navigate by the stars, and survive. After enduring years of abuse, she finally escaped. Now, after years of healing and moving forward with her life, she has put out a book detailing her story. Today we are joined by Delia D’Ambra of the Park Predators podcast as she walks us through what chilling cases season 4 has in store and shares her process investigating some of the most horrific true crime cases in the wilderness. Like all of us, she is an outdoors enthusiast and is currently on a mission to check off every national park in North America from her list. Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore is one of the nation’s best “hidden” jewels. People venture here to paddle, hike and camp along its rugged, colorful coastline. It’s the perfect destination, until it isn’t. The lakeshore has seen its fair share of recorded deaths since its NPS designation in 1966. The park can be a risky place to be with notoriously rough coastal waters when weather turns, but it wasn’t until 2006 when it saw its first fatal fall. Since then, what truly happened surrounding Juanita Richardson’s death among the cliffs of Pictured rocks has been of fierce speculation. The event tore a family apart, and this story proves the most dangerous risk of all could be sitting right next to you all along. Today we visit the Giant Sequoias of California and tell the stories of their exploitation to gain recognition at the World's Fair in the United States. The length people went through to cut down some of the largest trees in the world to ship them across the country was extensive, but many questioned whether the trees were real. People laughed at the idea of these enormous trees and when they tried to show them off in hopes of profits, many deemed it all as an unbelievable “hoax.” Come see us live! Ladies, further research shows something way creepier about the Andrew Cunanan story! Cunanan grew up in California, not in New Jersey, BUT one of his victims was the caretaker of the cemetery that the creepy guy had walked down to visit before his chat with the storyteller. YIKES!

As with every podcast, I start at the beginning and binge to current episodes. This is where I stop since wokery has now wormed in. I can't believe I fought for a country full of little Marxists like y'all..... I bet y'all don't believe the current immigration crisis are people stealing land though....

Wow, this topic really brings back some amazing memories! Exploring a national park during the day is an incredible experience, but venturing into one after dark adds a whole new layer of adventure and intrigue. https://www.cleansway.com/london/business/customise-sticker I remember my trip to Yosemite last summer. After the sun had set, a group of us gathered to stargaze near Glacier Point. The sky was so clear that we could see the Milky Way stretching across the horizon. It was like a celestial masterpiece, far away from the city lights and pollution. https://www.announceamerica.com/london/marketing/customise-sticker

I call bullshit on this guy’s allegations about his run-in with the Ngombe people. As far as I can tell, they are not nor have they ever been known to be cannibalistic, not to mention the fact that cannibalism for the sake of it has never actually been documented.
