Great, hilarious ep. Going to have to check out her podcast, Northern News
loved Jenny Éclair - thanks for a great podcast!
the goulash thing drove me up the wall. she didn't understand because they never explained that you can put literally anything in a bread bowl and it's got nothing to do with goulash.
She's a lunatic. Hates tap water. Never heard jalapeño pronounced correctly (way to go Ed). Swallows prawns whole... or not. Total nutfarmer.
This was very funny! Proper belly laughs!
American here, and I think Jeselnik's persona is a prick. That's his schtick. Lots of people in the US think he's funny. I find him grating. The character is kind of a bully narcissist that resonates with certain people. Jeselnik has the bully and narcissist part down, but the comedic material just isn't there. James Acaster is exponentially funnier than Jeselnik on any island or continent, so it was sad to see him take it seriously and get flustered. Really sad to see Ed go belly up and reinforce the bully, no doubt hoping Jeselnik's faux tough guy wouldn't turn it on him. Bad choice of guest for this podcast. Would be fun to see Jeselnik on a show with any number of pisstaking Brit comedians that would have taken Jeselnik down a peg or two, all while being polite and actually funny.
Funniest one yet 😂😂😂
Best episode ever! Crying with laughter!
