While Kaitlyn is away doing her own inner child work, we thought why not bring some more resources to the Vinos? Two licensed therapists, Emmalee and Jennifer AKA the ShrinkChicks, are diving even deeper into the topics discussed in Tuesday’s inner child work episode. They’re answering all of your questions when it comes to embracing your inner child and entering your healing journey: Is this work going to change how I feel about my parents? How can we recognize and unlearn our childhood patterns? How can we alter the stories we tell ourselves? Plus, they share resources to get started on your healing journey whether you’re looking to enter traditional therapy or hoping to do this work on your own. They wrap by calling some therapy BS and practicing what they preach by embracing their inner children and delivering some quality therapist jokes.  Books Emmalee and Jennifer would recommend include:  Adult Children of Emotionally Immature Parents by Lindsay Gibson  Recovery of Your Inner Child by Lucia Cappacione No Bad Parts by Richard Schwartz Homecoming: Reclaiming and Healing Your Inner Child by John Bradshaw It Didn’t Start With You: How Inherited Family Trauma Shapes Who We Are and How to End the Cycle by Mark Wolynn Parent Yourself Again: Love Yourself the Way You Have Always Wanted to Be Loved (Self-Compassion) by Yong Kang Chan Thank you to our sponsors! Check out these deals for the Vinos: PELOTON - Explore Peloton Row and their financing options at onepeloton.com/row.  HYUNDAI - The reviews are in. And they are spectacular. The Hyundai IONIQ 5 is MotorTrend’s 2023 SUV of the Year. Hyundai. It’s your journey.
Before Kaitlyn departed for her week-long therapy retreat, she brought in two experts to help us learn more about inner child work. Emmalee and Jennifer, AKA the ShrinkChicks, join the pod to explain everything inner child: Who is our inner child? Does everyone need to do inner child work, or what are some signs we should? How can we raise our children without harming their inner child? And what can we do to work on our inner child outside of traditional therapy (there’s plenty!)? Em, Jen, and KB are very vulnerable in today’s episode as they use examples from their personal lives to dig deep into inner child wounds, anti-relational behaviors and cycles we fall into, and even share confessions from their childhood. Stay tuned for Thursday’s Grape Therapy where the ShrinkChicks return to answer all of YOUR questions about inner child work. Kaitlyn’s BFF, the tater to her tot, and professional face poker (AKA injector) Kat Campbell is back on the podcast! This is one of those episodes you put in your ear holes when you just want to hang out with two weirdos, and is there really anything better? KB and Kat recap their recent trip to the zoo with bb Chandler and talk about the joys (and potential pitfalls) of motherhood. They’re also getting into all things Botox and skincare, their first impressions of each other, some friendship BTS, and playing games that involve the alphabet, celebrity smells, and putting their bestie to the testie. Dreams are absolutely fascinating … but also can be really frikkin’ confusing and strange. So, to get all the answers to her many questions, Kaitlyn invited dream expert, speaker, and author Kelly Sullivan Walden AKA Doctor Dream on the pod to hear directly from the source! Kaitlyn and Kelly are talking about all things dreams and dreaming: Does every dream mean something? How can we remember our dreams? What is going on with reoccurring dreams and can we put an end to them? And, what are precognitive dreams and how do we know if we’re experiencing them? Kaitlyn is diving into a reoccurring dream of her own and Kelly shares why Kaitlyn’s dreams might be indicating what’s next for her. Kelly also explains her OGLE method and how to apply it to your own life in real time. Today’s episode is part of Kaitlyn’s (and hopefully all of the Vino’s) healing journey for the year ahead! Kaitlyn’s new friend Morris Weintraub, Breathing Coach & Breathwork Instructor, joins for a deep dive into all things breathing and breathwork, teaching us how we can work with our bodies to calm our minds and ultimately rise to a higher level of consciousness. Morris expands on his own healing journey, including how he found breathwork and how breathwork can be used to produce similar results as and prepare for plant medicine journeys. The two talk types of breathing modalities, explain how we can breathe to manage our anxiety, and get into the behind the scenes of how and why breathing techniques work for our bodies and minds. Plus, be sure to check out Morris’s free anxiety playbook series for the Vinos, which you can find on his website (MorrisWeintraub.com/OTV) as well as his upcoming event with James Nestor. And, check him out on Instagram @morris_weintraub. We’re calling 2023 the year of healing, and we’re just getting started. Thank you to our sponsors! These two were long overdue to join the Vinos so today, KB, Clea, and Joanna are catching up on what has happened in the past 5 (!!) years since they were on the pod. It’s safe to say a lot has gone down in the past half-decade; Clea has overcome cancer, the two have found more success than ever, and both women still know how to share a cringeworthy confession. Clea and Joanna share their intentions going into 2023, reveal whose house they want to organize and the weirdest items they’ve had to organize in the past, and give a behind the scenes on Nashville’s most beautiful friendship. The three peas on the pod definitely have a lot of Best Friend Energy, which is perfect since that’s the name of Clea & Joanna’s new pod, where they will be hanging out on the mic just like they are today. Plus, they’re answering all of your questions and sharing what it’s like working with the one and only Reese Witherspoon who recently acquired their company.  Thank you to our sponsors! It’s been a minute since we had the duo that is KB and JT on the pod, and today they’re sharing with the Vinos their highs, lows, and Buffalos (don’t worry, we’ll explain) from 2022 and their hopes for the year ahead. As usual, they’re not holding back as they talk about everything from misophonia support groups (IYKYK) and their latest content recommendations to struggles from 2022 and Kaitlyn’s upcoming application to be Megan Fox’s girlfriend/doppelganger. Plus, they’re both sharing the therapy techniques they’ve tried or are looking forward to exploring in order to continue to grow through 2023, from storyboarding to journaling to Kaitlyn’s upcoming retreat. This year may be off to a pretty weird start, but it’s only up from here.   Thank you to our sponsors! We’re starting the New Year off right with a highly-requested member of the OTV family… Arielle Vandenberg! While both Kaitlyn and Arielle spent Y2K feeling like the world might end, this year is very different; they’re both excited and rejuvenated as they head into 2023. This year, Arielle will become one of the stars of The White Lotus and Kaitlyn’s pod will be turned into a TV show for both your eyeballs and earholes to enjoy. The two are recapping Arielle’s recent visit to Nashville (after a very enlightening experience that Arielle will tell us all about), manifesting for the year ahead, celebrating what they’re thankful for in the present moment, and getting into their 2023 bucket lists. Plus, they’re sharing worst date stories, finding out the truth about Libras and potato socks, and telling us why the jig is officially up this year. Thank you to our sponsors! Haley and her sister Small T!ts McGee AKA Kaitlyn No Breastowes are back on the mic for round two of our holiday giveaways! They are here to spread some more cheer by playing a game of winter trivia and then hearing two incredible confessions from Vinos who are not afraid of TMI. We’re going to need an update on the first confession involving sexy time, because this is a question that cannot go unanswered. And, the second confession will have you second guessing if you should head to Italy for your next vacay. Plus, they are sharing their words for 2023 since this is the last episode before the New Year (WHAT!?) and trying to guess the same words at the same time… which goes interestingly!?  Thank you to our sponsors! Psychotherapist, podcast host, and the boundary boss herself, Terri Cole, joins KB on the pod today right in time for you to start working on your best 2023 self and leave behind the crap that didn’t serve you in 2022. Terri starts by defining what boundaries actually are and how we can go about defining and communicating them to those in our lives. Women especially often find themselves with disordered boundaries and high-functioning co-dependency, and Terri and Kaitlyn are discussing what these terms actually mean and how to know if they’re affecting us personally. The two talk through some actionable steps we can take to become our best selves in the New Year, including setting boundaries with ourselves and technology, and starting or continuing a meditation practice. And speaking of meditation, Terri is giving the Vinos their very own free meditation when you visit BoundaryBoss.me/vine!   Thank you to our sponsors! Kaitlyn is joined by Tina Anderson, co-founder and CEO of Just Thrive! Content Warning: Sexual Abuse and Trauma Today on the pod, OB-GYN, podcaster, and TikTok extraordinaire, Dr. Jennifer Lincoln, joins Kaitlyn to talk about (c)literally everything because nothing is TMI when your day job is vaginas. Dr. Jen is here to answer all of your questions without a side of shame that we might normally feel at school or in the doctor’s office. Does birth control make us pick the wrong partner? And will it affect our fertility? Is there anything we can do to enhance our sex drives? How often should we actually be replacing our underwear? Is a cup, pad, or tampon the way to go? Is cycle syncing a real thing? Kaitlyn opens up about her experience with PMDD and asks Dr. Jen some of the questions that have been on her mind lately when it comes to sexual health and wellness. The two wrap up with a highly requested game of “ken you not” as well as some OB fact or fiction and of course, confessions. Thank you to our sponsors! The king and queen of Love Is Blind Season 3 are sitting down with KB to do what they do best… be almost sickly cute. Kaitlyn is getting all the behind-the-scenes of Alexa and Brennon’s Love is Blind journey, including how they almost ended before they began and their most pivotal moments from the pods. Alexa and Brennon are also sharing what they’ve been up to since filming, what’s next in their relationship (very exciting things), what it was like watching the show back as a couple, and how they’ve navigated overnight attention. And, we’re finding out all the answers to the most important questions, like what exactly is the “jingle jangle” and what are hosts Nick and Vanessa like in real life? After this one, we’re going to have to conclude that YES, love may just in fact be blind AF.  Thank you to our sponsors! It’s only Tuesday but we’re ready to say TGIF because the star of one of our favorite TV comfort shows, Full House, is on the mic today! Kaitlyn is joined by Jodie Sweetin AKA Stephanie Tanner to talk about all things Full House and beyond. Jodie describes the overlap between her personality and Stephanie’s, her former and current relationships with the cast and the crew of Full House and Fuller House, and her favorite moments from the show. Then, KB and Jodie are diving into Jodie’s life outside of the show, from her time competing on DWTS and surviving the jungles of Panama to her work in activism to raising two daughters. Plus, she has not one but two Christmas movies that came out this season, and she’s sharing the deets on her time filming for Lifetime & Hallmark. Last but definitely not least, she shares a confession from one of her first dates with her now husband that really does take it full circle.  Thank you to our sponsors! If you’re a fellow reality TV fan and you love love, then today’s episode with Zanab Jaffrey is for YOU. While Zanab might not agree that love is completely blind after deciding to opt out at the alter with Cole Barnett, she definitely has taken many lessons away from her time in the Love Is Blind pods, and she’s sharing what went down on and (maybe more importantly) off camera during her experience on the hit Netflix show. Has she been in contact with Cole since the reunion? What are her thoughts watching the “Cuties” scene back? Did she get coffee with Cole's ex-wife? Who did she & Cole share as their celeb look-alike while “blind”? And, what’s her biggest takeaway 1.5 years after filming? Kaitlyn is asking all of these questions and more, plus getting a confession that even confession-queen KB can’t relate to. Thank you to our sponsors! Kaitlyn and her forever LA co-host, Lo VonRumpf, are in studio Zooming in with the three Culpo sisters, and trust us when we say this pod is full of laughs, unfiltered truths, and plenty of confessions. Olivia, Aurora, and (a slightly tardy) Sophia are sharing all the deets behind their new reality show on TLC, including the highs and lows of filming with family and how they deal with the inevitable negativity that comes with displaying it ALL on TV. They’re also spilling their last Google searches, identifying which Culpo is the loose cannon of the family, and divulging which sister gave her significant other a hall pass (plus, how it all unfolded…). And, stay tuned to the end to find out why Kaitlyn & one of the sisters are going to toilet paper a house together (watch out, trolls).  Thank you to our sponsors! **Warning - don't listen to today's confession with kiddos in the car** Prepare those earholes, because today on the pod we have a very long overdue catchup with former Bachelorette (and all-around Bachelor Nation royalty) Clare Crawley! And she’s here with some very exciting news to share; not only is she newly engaged, but she & her new boo got engaged three times, and she’s spilling all the deets on how her romance formed with fiancé Ryan! PS, don’t try to stalk him on social media, because you can’t… and we love that. She’s opening up about her mental health post-show, what it was like to experience breast implant illness, how she developed the strength to become who she is today, and the previously unknown reasons behind her leaving her season early. Plus, she’s sharing her incredibly relatable life motto and a very timely confession that you should cover your little ones’ ears for.  Thank you to our sponsors! Hope you're ready to get nostalgic today! And if not, "go home, Roger," because just hearing her voice will bring you right back to the ‘90s. Tamera Mowry-Housley is on the pod to tell us all about her recently-released memoir and everything she’s been up to since one of our fave shows was on air. We first got to know the iconic twins, Tia and Tamera, on the hit sitcom Sister, Sister and since then, Tamera has continued to skyrocket in the entertainment world, from her time on The Real to starring in Hallmark movies to hosting a new show on Amazon involving lots of cookies. She’s opening up about what it was like to enter such a competitive industry at a young age, how she finally faced the insecurities from it, and we get to hear her favorite inspirational Tamera-isms (Kaitlyn’s got some Kaitlyn-isms of her own). Then, KB & Tamera rank their favorite Christmas movies and give their take on the Die Hard debate. Last but definitely not least, Tamera teases “sex goals” we can expect to read about in her new book and gives a classic confession from filming live on the set of Sister, Sister. Vinos in Christ, are you tired of feeling like someone’s cool aunt? Well, so is Shanae, and today we’re getting into her breakup and alllll the other Bachelor in Paradise drama with podcast host, Bachelor superfan, and future DWTS contestant, Elyse Myers. Elyse had the privilege of attending the Bachelor in Paradise Reunion afterparty and she is giving us all the behind the scenes on what it was like to be there and meet Bachelor alum IRL. And, if you happen to know who stole her tacos on the rooftop after-afterparty, please DM us immediately. Elyse shares which part of this season made her cry, her Bachelor Nation crushes, and her favorite finale moments. Then, happy couple Brandon and Serene hop on the mic with Kaitlyn for a mini-interview, where they reveal which parts of Paradise made them almost quit, the recipe for happiness on the beach, and what’s to come next in their (almost too cute) relationship.  Thank you to our sponsors! I really enjoyed the latest podcast with Clayton and Susie. It was raw, emotional and they handled themselves with respect and maturity. I really hope they find their way back to each other. Great job Kaitelyn.
