Description

Nostalgia is a funny thing. Six friends discussing it is even funnier.

Join us as we reflect on some of the best and worst movies from last century and rewatch them On Second Watch. Did they get better with age? Worse? Only one way to find out...

Join Tim, Chris, Dana, Kari, Nikki, and Dan as we plunge head first into the movies we grew up on and discuss our nostalgia for them. Then, we'll watch the movie together, jump back on the mics, and record our observations. We'll provide both our Nostalgia Score and Rewatch Score to see if the movie aged well, or if it should stay in last century.

We have fun with our show by playing a game of Plot Summary Mad Libs, where we take the plot of the movie make it awkward and mostly dirty with new nouns, adjectives, and verbs. We also have many bonus episodes, such as special interviews with those in the entertainment industry, and our popular "How Would Sean Bean Have Died?" where we cast and kill our favorite Yorkshireman in the movies he was not cast.

We're shifting away from reviewing films and keeping the hilarious and often times offensive Plot Summary Mad Libs as our main entree. If you are not familiar with this segment or need a refresher, we take the plot of a film and rewrite it using nouns, adjectives, verbs, and other parts of speech. There's a 92.3% chance that Tim will be laugh-crying while attempting to read the plot back to everyone, and that is backed by science. Nothing says horror movie like a good old fashioned legal drama! *Dun Dun* Join us as we review 2005's American supernatural horror legal drama film, The Exorcism of Emily Rose. This film won our "Spin the Wheel" event for Based on a True Story, in which this film barely counts as a true story... We recorded this one LIVE and in person for the first time in 2 years, and has the same sound quality as we did 2 years ago due to technical difficulties. Regardless, we have some fun with Plot Summary MadLibs, where one of is plays the priest. The screenplay was written by director Scott Derrickson and Paul Harris Boardman. Starring Laura Linney as Erin Bruner, Tom Wilkinson as Father Richard Moore, Jennifer Carpenter as Emily Rose. With a budget of $19mil, it made $145mil in the box office. Currently an 6.7 on IMDb.
