Description

Nostalgia is a funny thing. Six friends discussing it is even funnier. Join us as we reflect on some of the best and worst movies from last century and rewatch them On Second Watch. Did they get better with age? Worse? Only one way to find out...

Join Tim, Chris, Dana, Kari, Nikki, and Spaz as we plunge head first into the movies we grew up on and discuss our nostalgia for them. Then, we'll watch the movie together, jump back on the mics, and record our observations. We'll provide both our Nostalgia Score and Rewatch Score to see if the movie aged well, or if it should stay in last century.

We have fun with our show by playing a game of Plot Summary Mad Libs, where we take the plot of the movie make it awkward and mostly dirty with new nouns, adjectives, and verbs. We also have many bonus episodes, such as special interviews with those in the entertainment industry, and our popular "How Would Sean Bean Have Died?" where we cast and kill our favorite Yorkshireman in the movies he was not cast.

This 2 hour long commercial has more one-liners and puns than we could even count. We knew what we were getting ourselves into with 1997's American superhero film, "Batman and Robin". We joked about this film since before we started our podcast and finally take the polar plunge into the icy water. Oh god, I'm doing it now.----------*NEW* Become a member exclusively on Ko-fi for as little as $1 per month. Access to our personal Discord server, Ad-free RSS feed, merch, and more awaits! April Fools! On Second Watch has been taken over by Doug and Jamie from the podcast Good Times, Great Movies. Enjoy their hilarious take on this 1987 film featuring arm wrestling, truckin', and fatherhood. This movie is so '80s...On this special Slysgiving episode of the podcast, Doug confuses lawyers for judges and secretaries for lawyers and wonders if the dying mother is the actual villain of this movie. Meanwhile, Jamie wishes for a Stallone/Loggia Christmas card and is wildly confused by commercials on streaming services.
