One of the most recognizable faces on Boy Meets World might not immediately come to mind when thinking of the show, but on this week’s episode, the gang will remind you that guest Blake Clark, a.k.a. Chet Hunter, is absolutely a Hollywood legend.Beyond appearing in a dozen or so Adam Sandler movies (Waterboy, anyone?), at one point in the ‘90s, Blake appeared on a new ABC sitcom every night of the week. From his time in the military to breaking into the business as a stand-up amongst Robin Williams and David Spade, Blake’s hilarious stories about his time as Shawn’s problematic father (and haunting ghost) make this one unforgettable trip down memory lane.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Our hosts sit down to recap “The Beard,” an episode that follows Shawn’s madcap attempt at basically dating two women at once. It’s time to face one of the most divisive moments in BMW history: a metaphorical wacky romp where Cory becomes…a werewolf. Somewhere between a Halloween episode and a tale about puberty, this episode features Phyllis Diller, one actor’s true commitment to absurdity and the revival of Topanga. Hear all about the spooky full moon kiss, a Lily gag that now feels like a writer’s room inside joke and if the gang can mute their analytical minds to have a little old fashioned sitcom fun.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
Well, well, well…if it isn’t the return of Joey “The Rat” Epstein, a.k.a. Blake Sennett, a.k.a. Blake Soper.
And despite being an on-screen tough guy, Blake IRL is a really good dude!
Danielle, Rider & Will discuss Blake’s time on BMW, a career well before his rise to musical stardom, and the personal struggles he had to overcome to be the man he is today.

The roller coaster that is Season 2 continues, with an unexpected low point thanks to the lessons of The Grapes of Wrath and basketball shorts over sweatpants. Things are looking up for Season 2 as the hosts enjoy the witty pacing, elite jokes and prank filled flow of a Mr. Weeny debacle. Who could it be?Plus a heartfelt tribute to a beloved Boy Meets World writer…See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
The Wayne's World car was an AMC Pacer, not a Gremlin!!
I feel like the clothes in this episode looked like outfits I'm seeing zoomers wear on tik tok 🤣
Loved listening, as always! Amy Mathews was definitely a mom for me growing up! But I am a little concerned, she said to Danielle/Rider/Will "I'm 72yrs old"...... but everything I can find on Betsy Randall says that she was born in 1955.... which would make her, at the time of this episode airing, 67yrs old 🤔 I've heard of people saying they are YOUNGER than they are, and I will joke that I'm older than I am, but by saying things like "when it's icey, I turn into an 85yr old" when I am currently only 36, so it doesn't seem like she was trying to exaggerate her age to make a joke about memory.... Just something on my mind, wondered if anyone else noticed. Will responded to her by saying "you're 72? You do not look it!" and I would have died if he had said "you don't look a day over 67!" 😂 Regardless, thanks for another great ep to listen to! -Sam K (I am going to submit this and wait to be very embarrassed, like I've missed something, or misheard something. I apologize in advance if I am being obtuse to something here)
