The movie is a commentary on the mistreatment of "abnormal" looking people, not "Queer" people. Why is everything about sexuality/race with you guys. Saying, "White, straight people, am I right?" isn't as insightful as you treat it as, especially coming from 2 white dudes (even if Cecil is gay)
full episode working now, thank you. Worth the wait.
typical one of the movies I really want to hear them talk about, and it won't even play or download.
Y'all need a woman on this show if you want to talk about how well a film represents gender issues. Or just want women to enjoy the show. Ideally someone knowledgeable about film.
So my download stops at 42 minutes like mid sentence. is everyone experiencing the same?
In 96 you could still cross the Mexican and Canadian border with just a drivers license (~government issued photo id)
I really think you're being far too sympathetic to this main character. It's a brilliant depiction of an awful husband and an awful man, and it's a shame to hear you defending him as an ultimately good guy. Also, the problem with the line about Catholics and Protestants is that the situation in Ireland *isn't* a religious issue but one of colonialism. That's why Gal is mad about it. Not because he's obsessed with the schisms of white Christians.
I love the idea that the whole movie is a fastasy/delusion of Jay. It’s the only logical explanation for the frankly nonsensical ending.
Giles is Anthony Head. His brother is Murray 😄
Why keep saying Latinx, it's just latinO
I watched this film once and found the plot nonsensical, no tension at all, and really boring.
mmmm, nope, witchcraft is a hard pass from me
the book series the raven cycle has a character that can pull things out of his dreams
I just thought Peter was in shock
I really enjoyed this movie 🤷
This was one hell of a movie and next week's movie is an oddly great fitting for a double feature. Super excited to see what Jeffery thinks of it!
I had to stop listening to go watch this, 100% no regrets, awesome movie.
There is a lot of stuff from the books (Light Novel & Manga) that gets glossed over in this film, but "Rambo" is back because he was so beat up after winning his Battle Royale the previous year that he was held back a grade due to missed days/poor grades... talk about the worst school system to be held back in.
I am begging you guys to watch Folding Ideas' YouTube video on Annihilation.
>It's ep 69. ....NICE .
