But, just imagine dealing with the worst kinds of paranormal horror that we’ve talked about here many times in the sense of it happening in recent years, where you can go stay with relatives, or get a priest or shaman, etc., to perform some kind of blessing - but now you have no one to help you and nowhere to go. The urban legend of Click… Clack… Slide… I don’t want to spoil what that represents, but I’m guessing that many of our listeners have heard a version of this story - like Curtis - when they were kids. Can a monster be both a manufactured urban legend AND something you could truly encounter. That’s what we play around with in this story. Then, a man who was horrifying in real life continues to haunt people even after his death: John Wayne Gacy. Next, we dip back into true crime and go over a few locations reported to be haunted in the Chicago area, by the ghost of infamous serial killer, John Wayne Gacy.Lynze has two fantastic stories this week! After that, off to Hawaii for a little bite-sized bit of horror. Some paranormal encounters alleged to have taken place at the Honolulu Police Department’s training academy. A spirit that seems to feed off all of this torment and make it worse seems to be attacking a family. Then the  infamous legend of the Dover Demon.  Cryptid? Alien? Hoax? Did four teenagers really seem some sort of monster in a Massachusetts town just outside of Boston in the Spring of 1977? Then in the back half, Lynze shares a new "thing", a tulpa. She and Dan had never heard of it and the fan submission will make you wonder if the hat man himself is a tulpa. Then, we’ll head to Texas and explore various ghostly encounters that have all taken place at the former Yorktown Memorial Hospital.Lynze has a lengthy tale about how one women went from being a host for something to kicking it out and learning how manifest her own gifts. A home with just about the scariest title you could have. The brownstone that sits at 14 West 10th Street is known to some as The House of Death. Supposedly a LOT of people have died there over the years, and now it’s one of the most haunted homes in America. Then it's the tale of Jackson County, Florida’s Bellamy Bridge. Has the ghost of a young bride been haunting this bridge since the mid-19th century? Lynze also takes us to Florida for a haunted hotel room with an especially strong and scary entity. Then, a sweet story? It's hard to say if a young woman's mom is reaching beyond the grave to guide and protect her daughter. For that first story, we had to Canada, to the beautiful and reportedly very haunted Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel, located in the incredibly scenic Banff National Park, in Alberta, Canada. And then, we are off to York, England’s historic Treasurer’s House. Numerous spirits - including a lot of Roman Soldier apparitions - have been allegedly encountered in the historic residence built next the famous York Minster Gothic Cathedral. Lynze has a really big tale up top, about a family and their life long attachment with something evil and dark. Has her ghost haunted the campus of Morton College ever since? Then,  to the Santa Fe National Forest. What could explain a collection of sightings and strange disappearances around the three locations of the Holy Ghost Campground, El Camino del Diablo, and the Pecos Wilderness?  Is there a portal to some other dimension or world in this area?
