Happy Mother’s Day 💐 This week on Sheena Interrupted, TRID asks Sheena the most brutally honest mom questions possible… starting with one very dangerous question:“Have you ever thrown away your child’s artwork?”We talk mom guilt, mental overload, the invisible pressure moms carry, and the parenting habits nobody admits out loud, from hiding in the driveway for an hour before going inside to secretly judging another mom’s snack choices. In this episode:• Sheena admits she’s thrown away her kids’ artwork• TRID believes good moms should kick attacking dogs• Facebook Mom's Groups get fully exposed• Someone accidentally picks up a random stranger from a bus stop• Matching family pajamas somehow turn into a full-blown argument• And we discover what moms are really thinking 90% of the timeThis may just be our most unfiltered parenting episode yet…#podcast #motherhood #parenting #momlife #family #comedypodcastThanks to this week's sponsors:Storyworth.com/Sheena for $20 off
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we’re back from Japan…and it completely lived up to the hype. From the most incredible food (yes… even the pizza), to the level of organization, cleanliness, and thoughtfulness in everyday life, Japan felt like stepping into a completely different world (in the best way). We’re sharing everything from our trip: Tokyo vs. Kyoto, our favorite experiences (including what you should book in advance), traveling with kids, and the small moments that ended up meaning the most.We also talk about what’s changed since we last lived there, what surprised us, and why Japan continues to leave such a lasting impression.
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we broke down the things couples share… and the things that feel like a hard no. From toothbrushes (yes, really) to clothes, money, food, and everything in between…we got into the habits, boundaries, and weird little things that come up in long-term relationships. Some of it makes sense. Some of it absolutely doesn’t.Equal parts chaotic, honest, and way too relatable.#relationships #couples #marriage #relatable #podcast #love
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we did something we always said we wouldn't do… we read the hate comments out loud. From body shaming and unsolicited ADHD diagnoses to relationship criticism and the guy who just typed "boring”…we reacted to all of it live, unfiltered, and on camera. What started as a funny experiment turned into one of our most honest conversations yet about insecurity, self-confidence, and what it actually means to put your real life on the internet. We get into:
Hate comments, body shaming & online criticism
Insecurity and self-confidence in relationships
ADHD, neurodivergence & armchair diagnoses
Humor as a defense mechanism (are you deflecting, TRID?)
Therapy, self-growth & emotional awareness
Body image & feeling comfortable in your own skin
The real cost of being vulnerable online
Oh, and we asked AI to scour our entire channel for the worst things anyone has ever said about Sheena. It came back with almost nothing. Make of that what you will.If you've ever read a comment that stuck with you longer than it should have… this one's for you.🎙️ New episodes every week #sheenainterrupted #bodyimage #ADHD #insecurity #relationshipadvice #podcastclips #comedypodcast
This week on Sheena Interrupted, it’s just TRID and Jae… and one very honest conversation about Snapchat. After a month of using the app, we sat down to break down what’s actually happening behind the screen: how much time is being spent, what real communication looks like vs. just “streaks,” and why it’s harder to put the phone down than anyone wants to admit. This isn’t a lecture, it’s a real back-and-forth between a parent trying to understand and a teenager living it in real time.We talked:
What kids are actually doing on Snapchat
How “streaks” keep you coming back
Why screen time adds up fast
The balance between independence and boundaries
What’s helpful vs. a complete waste of time
How to be aware (without being addicted)
If you’re a parent, this will make you think. If you’re a kid, you’ll probably feel seen.Equal parts honest, funny, and a little uncomfortable…in the best way. Thanks to this week’s sponsorStoryworth.com/Sheena
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we're talking all about mom guilt, dad guilt, and why so many of us as parents feel like we’re never doing enough. From missing pajama day to working late, social media comparison, feeding choices, and the pressure to be everything to everyone. This episode gets honest about the emotional weight so many of us carry, and why dads often experience parenting guilt very differently. It’s funny, chaotic, validating, and a reminder that your kids probably won’t remember the thing you’re still beating yourself up over. This week on Sheena Interrupted, we’re talking about the travel habits that make absolutely no sense until you’re doing them together. From airport anxiety and arriving way too early, to booking hotels while en route to our destination and completely winging it… we could not travel more differently. We get into packing styles, over preparing vs under preparing, planning vs going with the flow, travel stress, and the little things that turn into big moments when you’re traveling as a couple. We also share travel hacks, airport routines, and how our habits have changed over time.If you’ve ever argued about what time to leave for the airport, how much to pack, or whether you need a plan at all… this episode is for you.👉 Which type of traveler are you — planner or go-with-the-flow? Let us know in the comments.#travel #relationships #marriage #vacation #podcast #relationshipadvice #familytravel
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we asked you to share your assumptions about us… and you did not hold back. From whether our videos are scripted, to who’s the stricter parent, to what our marriage is really like behind the scenes…nothing was off limits. We talk relationships, parenting dynamics, money, cultural identity, and the truth about how we actually create our content. Some assumptions were spot on. Others were… not even close. Honest, chaotic, and a little too revealing (as usual). This week's sponsor: CozyEarth.com/Sheena#relationshipadvice #marriage #couples #parenting #podcast #unfiltered #comedypodcast #relationships #familylife
This week on Sheena Interrupted, what started as chaos quickly turned into one of our most honest conversations yet. We talked periods, fibroids, miscarriage, hormones, pain, shame, silence, and why so many women are taught to push through things they should never have to normalize. We also got into marriage, communication, and what it actually looks like when your partner is trying to understand something they will never physically experience. Emotional, funny, uncomfortable, and very real. This week's sponsor:Factor.com/Sheena50Off#womenshealth #relationships #marriage #periods #fibroids #miscarriage #couplespodcast #unfiltered #communication
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we thought we were playing a harmless game. Instead, a round of Would You Rather turns into a full breakdown of marriage, habits, jealousy, pet peeves, and who is actually the more difficult person to live with. We cover anniversary pressure, thermostat drama, movie talking, blanket stealing, text-reading, matching outfits, and more. Unfiltered, chaotic, and probably a little too familiar if you’re in a relationship. Thanks to this week's sponsor:CozyEarth.com/Sheena for up to 20% off#marriage #relationshipquestions #wouldyourather #unfiltered #comedypodcast #sheenainterrupted
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we go ALL IN on arranged marriages…what they actually are, what Western culture gets wrong, and why the modern version looks a lot more like “serious dating” than people think. We break down biodata, matchmaking “aunties,” horoscope checks, family pressure, and the surprisingly emotional logic behind it all… plus TRID decides he wants to launch a matchmaking game show (because of course he does). This week on Sheena Interrupted… Sheena is interrupted (aka out of town), so TRID is joined by Jae for a surprisingly real conversation about teens, social media, and the one app every kid just wants for group chats: Snapchat. We get into: Snapchat rules & screen time limits, privacy vs safety, what parents should (and shouldn’t) monitor, how social media impacts teen confidence + mental health, and why “everything disappears” is exactly the problem. Also: hockey schedules, parenting worry spirals, and an extremely unnecessary debate about jumping over cars in an alley (do not try this at home, or anywhere). Thanks to this week's sponsors:Quince.com/Sheena for free shippingBarefaced.com/Sheena for 15% off plus free shipping#parenting #snapchat #teenlife #socialmedia #familypodcast #comedypodcast #sheenainterrupted
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we’re back with Part 2 of your unfiltered relationship questions…and nothing is off limits. Are DMs the new affairs?
Is it harder to stay loyal in the social media era?
What happens when marriage gets boring… or just comfortable? We talk temptation, online attention, emotional cheating, resentment after kids, and the quiet ways modern relationships get tested. From strict parents and secret relationships to remarriage after loss, we unpack what staying loyal actually looks like today. This one is honest, messy, funny and slightly unhinged. Welcome to modern marriage. Thanks to this week's sponsors:Barefaced.com (code SHEENA)CozyEarth.com/Sheena #marriage #relationships #relationshipadvice #modernlove #loyalty #socialmedia #unfiltered
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we answer your anonymous relationship questions during the most dangerous time of year: Valentine’s Day. We talk mixed signals, unresolved conflict, exclusivity timelines, money in marriage, intimacy when life gets busy, and why “not ready” usually means exactly what it sounds like. Equal parts honest, unhinged, and unintentionally therapeutic. This week's sponsorsBarefaced: barefaced.com code SHEENACozy Earth: cozyearth.com/Sheena
In this episode of Sheena Interrupted, we are breaking down the most common marriage myths people swear by. We cover the big ones couples argue about all the time, like: • “Good couples never fight” (spoiler: LOL) • “Never go to bed angry” and the pressure to finish every argument immediately • “If they loved you, they’d just know what you need” • Forgiveness = forgetting (and whether you can forgive without erasing the lesson) • A strong marriage has no resentment (ideal vs. human reality) • “Happy wife, happy life” — myth, truth, or… a complicated family ripple effect? We also discuss love languages, emotional “defaults,” and why communication isn’t just talking more—it’s learning how your partner actually hears you. Basically: relationship advice, but with chaos, roasting, and at least one imaginary whiteboard. If you’re into relationships, marriage advice, couples communication, conflict resolution, emotional connection, and honest conversations about what actually works in long-term love, this one’s for you.#marriage #relationship #podcast This week's sponsor: barefaced.com and use code SHEENA for 15% off
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we are looking back at 2016, when we had two little kids, a camera roll full of smiling selfies, and no idea how depleted we actually were. We talk candidly about that season and what ten years of perspective has shown us. We weren’t behind. We were just in it.We (TRID) also spiraled about leftover confetti from our 100th episode, took an unexpected but very serious glaucoma detour, and listened to TRID pitch a plan involving a random Chad or possibly a goat to boost our views. If you’re navigating parenting, career pressure, or a season that feels heavier than you expected, this episode is for you. Happy 100th episode!!! We kick off Season 3 with a full celebration…new set, confetti, surprise guests, and an outfit situation that makes absolutely no sense. But underneath the chaos, we actually talk about what this podcast has meant to us, why we started it, why we’ve kept it going, and what we’ve learned after 100 episodes of showing up together every week.We also shared a real moment about independence, anxiety, and what it looks like when you don’t have the words to say “I need you”… and why we think every couple needs a reset button (feel free to boroow our safe word - "popcorn!")This episode is the perfect mix of ridiculous and real..:and we’re so grateful you’re here for it.Thanks to this week's sponsorFactorMeals.com/sheena50off and use code sheena50off to get 50% off your first Factor box PLUS free breakfast for 1 year
This week on Sheena Interrupted we are kicking off 2026 with a behind-the-scenes episode that’s basically our podcast work meeting… but with microphones. We’re testing out our brand new equipment, revisiting our Sheena Interrupted Constitution (yes, we actually have rules), and arguing about what makes a “real” milestone episode…because according to TRID, this is Episode 99.75… not 100.In this episode, we talk New Year goals, how to actually stick to them, my plan to release more music in 2026, and TRID’s dream of giving away everything we own (including things we literally just bought). It’s chaotic, it’s honest, it’s the perfect warm-up before we come back for season 3 with the real Episode 100.This week's sponsors:Cozy Earth: cozyearth.com/SHEENA for up to 20% off!HelloFresh: HelloFresh.com/sheena10fm to Get 10 free meals + a FREE Zwilling Knife
It’s our last episode of 2025… and apparently TRID thinks that means we should film Episode 100 in the nude (or at minimum… “toes only”).We tried to do a wholesome year-in-review, but it immediately derailed into: undercover viewers who won’t subscribe, a HelloFresh ad getting hijacked mid-conversation, TRID claiming the Coast Guard need police dolphins, and me “stealing” all his friends and brand partners like it’s my side hustle. We discussed the year's highlights (magazine shoots, More of You, Anthem singing, more original music, AKA Falling Up and Bruins chaos), the deep stuff (grief + what it teaches you), and end with a heartfelt Auld Lang Syne… or not!Happy New Year. Sleep early. Wake up superior. This Week's SponsorHello Fresh: hellofresh.com/Sheena10FM
This week on Sheena Interrupted, we’re officially in holiday mode…and realizing the holidays don’t hit the same anymore. The kids are older, the elf has become quite lazy, and for the first time ever… Christmas is quiet. Like stay-home, no-chaos, silent night kind of quiet.TRID and I unpack the unspoken rules of holiday survival, the 72-hour limit on family visits, and what happens when traditions shift because everyone’s grown up (even though, according to him, I haven’t changed since 1995). It's a little emotional, and a whole lot of funny! This week's sponsorsMintmobile.com/SheenaFactor.com/Sheena50off (code 50off)

I want to share a lesson I had to learn the learn the hard way, grieving is very necessary nor allowing ourselves to truly grieve, trying to be "strong" denying the pain of losing a loved one must be expressed.
