Some people consider them good luck. Others, fluffy playthings who hide eggs and bring candy at Easter. But for the residents of this Virginia town, a white rabbit was not something from fairytales. A minister. A gospel singer. A member of parliament. This Brazilian political figure made a name for herself even before being elected. Its website and Facebook streams lure in future members by preaching peace, love, and energy. But inside this tight-knit group, ex-members say they faced abuse and torture. Is their revered leader the one true Mother God bringing energy and peace to the world, or is she nothing more than a scam artist who’s found a new way to fund her lifestyle?
As one of the biggest pop stars in the world, the paparazzi’s cameras were trained on her as she struggled to maintain control of her life. Then she wound up in one of the most restrictive arrangements under the law. Her family and legal team said it was necessary, but fans believed their beloved icon was begging for their help on her social media pages. Then the movement finally found some traction - but what happens next?
Starting with her pigtailed debut, she rocketed to stardom as one of the biggest pop stars of all time. At first, all her dreams seemed to be coming true. But behind the scenes, things weren’t going so well for this icon. A divorce. A custody battle. Stints in the hospital for mental health reasons then finally, her rights were stripped away via an allegedly temporary legal mechanism. A decade later, the conservatorship remains. How could a pop legend end up with her every move controlled?
The gorgeous architecture and intricate stonework hide a century’s worth of abuse and horrors in this now-abandoned facility. At the height of its operation, the rooms and halls were filled with vulnerable and abused patients. Now closed, this asylum is supposedly occupied by otherworldly residents and has gained a reputation as one of the most haunted places in America.

Hey everyone! We're taking the week off, but we'll be back next week with an all new episode. You can also head over to our Patreon for some bonus content like our weekly mixed bags and monthly minisodes. Thanks so much & keep it creepy! Self-Help. Personal Growth. Life-improvement. Multi-level marketing schemes promise riches, better lives, and unimagined happiness. But beneath the surface of this organization was a secret society that drained its members of money, personal autonomy, and even their lives.
Imposing and majestic, these stone slabs were placed mysteriously on a mountain in 1980 by an anonymous group. The words inscribed on them seemed innocent at first. But some theorized that the words actually have an evil meaning. Was this monument truly just an innocent marker meant to help humanity or was it inspired by a much more sinister purpose?
A horse is a horse, of course, but what if a horse could give you the answers to all of life's questions? One woman discovered her old black mare was something much more than met the eye and charged visitors for the privilege of consulting the beast. But were these customers getting the true answers they sought or just being taken for a ride?
After their frantic search concluded and the police seemed convinced of what had happened, Rey’s family was left to piece together the evidence and determine for themselves what killed their beloved family member. How did he access the roof? How could he have created that hole? And who was with him when it all came to an end?
Father Ryan was a popular priest who spent the last thirty years traveling the Midwest swindling millions of dollars out of people where he used the money to enrich himself, spend away, and declare bankruptcy whenever outed for falsifying his identity. Despite this, only once did law enforcement officially charge Father Ryan with crimes related to his church. But even then, he managed to essentially win the case. He’s now free and working on his next con. Smoke Screen: Fake Priest from Neon Hum Media, is a new documentary podcast hosted by Alex Schuman, a news reporter from the Midwest, that has been chasing Father Ryan’s story for years. The craziest part is that Alex also gets an exclusive sit-down interview with Ryan himself and in it, the Fake Priest reveals a shocking secret. Make sure to subscribe and follow Fake Priest now to find out what the shocking secret is. To listen to the show, just search for Smoke Screen: Fake Priest in Apple Podcasts or wherever you listen to your podcasts.
Rey Rivera’s body had been found, but what led to his disappearance was still a mystery. His family looked everywhere for answers - from the cryptic note he left behind, to the strange phone call that caused him to leave home, and especially to his ties with his former employer. Does one theory explain how these led to his death? Or will his family ever find answers?
They were a seemingly happy couple with a perfect life. But one phone call seemed to change everything. When their beloved husband, brother, and son goes missing, an entire community searches for him. But when he is finally found, they instead begin searching for clues. Was this a tragic case of an unanswered cry for help? Or was their missing loved one the victim of a game among power players for which he paid the ultimate price?
Unscrupulous thieves are willing to steal anything of value they can get their hands on, and the underground market for this sweet product is something beyond imagination. A simple breakfast table staple can net an enormous illegal profit. But the type of person willing to suck millions from a maple honeypot is also the type willing to do whatever it takes not to get caught.

An enormous mansion in New York. Another in Miami. Jets, employees, charities. His own private island. This mysterious billionaire had it all and thought he was above the law - until brave victims and a bombshell news story blew the lid off the whole thing. Even with an arrest and an indictment, will his victims ever truly find justice?
A harmless gift, a simple doll in a boy’s sailor suit. But for one man, this doll was more than a plaything, it was a companion, a life long friend, and a force in his life. Is this creation, made of fabric and wool, nothing more than a misunderstood toy? Or has he earned his reputation through decades of chaos and destruction?
Many animals live across the vast expanse of the Gobi Desert, but locals and visitors alike are warned to avoid this dangerous beast. Though its odd appearance may make it seem innocuous, it’s actually poisonous, aggressive and some say even electric. Are the warnings about its danger nothing more than legends? Or is this slithering beast a true deadly threat?
A beautiful actress was suddenly dead. Rumors swirled about what caused it. Was it drugs? Her diet? Or did she die at the hands of someone she trusted? Then suddenly – another death. Just months later, her husband died under suspiciously similar circumstances. Was this all an unfortunate coincidence, or was a single culprit to blame?
She began her career as one of Hollywood’s brightest young stars in blockbuster roles. But suddenly, out of almost nowhere, she died. What led this once-promising and charismatic actress to her ultimate demise? Was it drugs, health problems, or something more sinister at play?

Glowing red eyes, an enormous wingspan, and a feeling of fear and dread. The residents of this sleepy West Virginia town knew something was afoot. Was it a visitor from another planet, an undiscovered species, or was something even more sinister to blame?

Grain farmers have 4 options:. store it at home, sell it at current market price, contract a price ahead of time or delayed price in the hope it goes up at the cost of $.10 bushel per month. This doesn't sound too different.

I agree 100% with the verdict. However, it shows blood on her BARE hands in the body cam footage when the officer first walked into the apartment. She wasn't completely blood free.

You cannot tell if a child has been sexually abused based on a physical exam if so most kids would be out of it easily. She didn’t like being hugged?? Hmmm... also abuse doesn’t always mean raping the child. Being forced to give the adult a blow/hand Job is also abuse ...
