This episode of Sober Cast is not an AA speaker, if you need to hear a meeting please pick a different episode, this is a bit of AA history.
The June 24th episode of Sober Cast was Bill B telling his story, he was the author of the screenplay for the 1989 movie My Name is Bill W., as the author of the screenplay he spent considerable time interviewing Lois W. the wife of Bill W.
This Sober Cast consists of the three hours of interviews that he did with Lois regarding her life with Bill and the formation AA and Al-Anon. It is a really excellent quality recording of Lois speaking in great detail about her life before and after Bill got sober and became the co-founder of AA.

Bill W. Bill starts with the topic of gratitude and moves on to his story and how that led to the creation of AA at an unknown event.
This is from June of 1954 and I was able to remove the nasty hum it had, the result is a pretty good recording for 1954. This runs just a little over an hour and for the first 40 min the sound quality is pretty good all things considered. The last 20 min the sound isnt as clear, it gets a bit muddy and I couldnt fix that but it is still listenable.

Speaker Potluck - This time I grabbed two 30 min speakers from the Sunday Night speaker meeting in Seattle without listening to them in advance and created this audio. Just like in a real meeting you dont know what you are going to hear until you hear it! These speaks are from 2015 and 2016.

Happy anniversary! If I don't drink I'll be 40 in September!
woke activist POS.
this lady is crass and loud and kind of abrasive. really didn't enjoy this one... was unnecessary and I still don't know anything more about Alanon than I did before... rare miss
Attending AA meetings does NOT treat alcoholism. YYYEEEESSSSSS 🙏💗💗
I Loved Arthur, so engaging and humorous!!
unhinged share about resentments still held... ok lady.
awful quality
basketcase... great way to summarize this one lol
what a trainwreck... lol
what a dork
i sure don't believe in the nonsense that God thinks equally of us as animals... otherwise pretty spot on
every last one of these fools needs Al-Anon. they speak like they're preaching to the choir. you can only speak from your experience you can't tell other people how they're experience is going to go. these are some preachy preachy people.
really preachy but good anyway
one of those speakers that is great the first time you hear him until you realize he basically has a script and shares nearly word for word the same every time he speaks 😮💨 meh...
maximum!
audio is so trash it should be removed honestly
must be Pacific group ?
man he sure likes to laugh at his own jokies...
man this guy sure told a ton of awkward, dry, corny attempts at jokes. nearly drove me to drink.
