why give this boy so much power over you? anything he said about your dad should have meant nothing to you.

the police are limited to following the law. if you want them to do more, then reach out to your state reps to create a bill and hopefully get it passed into law.... can't get mad at the police for doing their job.

Am I the only one that believes Kimmy & Brian is actually another convenient creation of 'Dick's' to manipulate and abuse via covertly. The letter and convo' with 'Kimmy' are suspicious of someone psychologically abusive.

I can’t even fathom what this family went through. I cried the whole time. I’m glad they have some closure with this.

Well, I’ve listened to this and every episode I kept waiting for the big reveal. What the AF? This story could have been told in one episode. Definitely not Dateline worthy. The big thing he did was pretend he was his fake best friend and changed a few passwords. And then.... Who in their right mind would just start texting a random person they’ve never met or actually spoken to? My ex was a nurse and he pretended to have a deadly brain tumor. Showed me real MRI scans. Looked sick, was taking time off work. Turns out, he was a drug addict. Using massive amounts of oxy. I filed for divorce right before his “expiration date” and made me out to be cold hearted b****. But guess what, I delt with it and moved on. Shortly after, he overdosed and passed away. The point is....move on. Don’t make a pod cast. 😆

I want to hug you so much right now. Nobody should ever judge you based on the decisions you made at the age of 18 after four years of grooming you. Thank you for being brave enough to tell your story!

the police have to follow the law whether it works in your favor or not. it's not their choice so don't rip on them for doing their job. it's frustrating, absolutely. but their hands are tied.

it's always the same with your shows. equating conservatives to be racist. that's simply not true. don't lump all people into one bucket. anyone can be racist-literally anyone. why do I even give this podcast a chance, it's gross.

I appreciate Birdie bringing up justice. I've harbored this crippling resentment that feels like it's suffocating me at times. I know there are other forms of justice I can be grateful for, just need to shift my perspective.

I love how you talk to your kids about your divorce and about "adult timeout." Having Snaky groomed was absolutely BRILLIANT! As for the restraining order, you had no reason to believe that your ex was that volatile. We all want to believe the best of the people we love and that's not a bad thing. Besides, he would have burned the house down even with the restraining order still in place. It was planned before that court hearing.
