Friends would say he's on Meth!! never had a job, borrowed $ like I was his cashmachine he'd ask me for $20. & his mom the same day! "for gas" and Yet always ran out of gas! Awful the lies the stealing the cheating! I found him in our bed with another drug addicted! all he said was can you give us a second!?

I think that everyone is so overwhelmed and exhausted that they don't have the energy to deal with the result of a "hey, you ok?" conversation. It is easier to just write someone off because it's too exhausting to deal with the alternative.

nope. sorry not sorry. gun laws do not stop the bad guys. why don't people get this yet?? check out Chicago for instance - one of the most anti-gun cities in the US!! how many bad guys have guns and kill people? white, black, Hispanic, etc etc- bad guys do not listen to the law. race has nothing to do with that. it's called lack of God, morals and having mental illness. criminals will always do bad things.

What the actual F 😳this podcast used to be so awesome and a great platform for victims and it’s just been destroyed the past season. I don’t even listen anymore and am unsubscribing. This is so dumb what a waste!!

I've been enjoying the podcast, but wanted to address one think. I work for several doctors, and scheduling appointments is one of my jobs. I often get yelled at because I can't get patients in for weeks or even months, but it is NOT because we refuse. Understand that these doctors can only see one patient at a time and when the schedule is full, that means there are no openings, period. Likely, that doctor either took part of his lunch or scheduled you either before or after his normal work day in order to get you in. Possibly, at the expense of either personal or family time. And being human, this is part of the reason doctors themselves are facing burnout. It isn't like they can just remove someone from the schedule to get someone else in. They can just only see so many patients in a day. If every spot is full, where do they put you? So, guilting the counselor into seeing you immediately really was somewhat selfish and his lack of availability wasn't his fault.

I always get chills when I'm listening to older podcasts and they say stuff like "I hope your 2020 is off to a great start"..

Thank u Odessa. That hit home for me. The part of being a someone who is thought to be this great person and they r truly a monster and no one believes u. I've been there. My own parents didn't believe me till my sister saw it and told them and backed me up. I totally felt that. I don't like to talk about the monster. It takes me right back. I think now I will stand up and tell my story. It may hit someone like yours hit me.
