She read for the part and even went to LA to audition in front of the folks from HBO. It wasn’t meant to be and she ended up playing one of the two sets of twins on the show.       Then it’s the ultimate Wonderbread Wop…Dr Cusamano. Bob LuPone played the character to a tee. He talks about his inspiration for the role, and what it was like to work with James Gandolfini. Then Michael and Steve get into this week’s episode. The godfather, goodfellas, once upon a time in America ,reservoir dogs, casino to name but a few, these are great gangster films, to claim the many saints of Newark is a great gangster film is an insult to our intelligence Steve, instantly forgettable in my opinion. Still enjoying the podcast though.

maybe Carmella planned a hit on Tony. she was the one pushing to go to Holstens and she said "Holstens is the consensus" as if it wasn't really her idea.

I feel a little bit bad about it-- however, I am surprised at how intelligent Mike P. seems to be. Great podcast, glad I found it.

Re irregular around the margins- I love listening to you guys every Monday but if I may...Maybe if you didn’t spend half an hour talking shit about famous people you know, sandwiches and pizza slices, you wouldn’t have to rush through the episode analysis, which gentlemen, is the main reason we tune in, not for endless anecdotes regarding celebrities and your eating habits. Some food for thought.

It's the best show ever made bar none, the writing, the casting and even the bit of acting thrown in. {kidding Steve)
