What's up volley friends. It's been a while... Been going through it a bit. So I forced myself to share what I've been going through. Sometimes, the greatest things come from the darkest places. It's hard to share some of the emotions I've been experiencing lately. Which for me, in the past, being afraid to share how I feel is a virtually impossible task. We keep the book open baby. So when I started to feel ashamed for how I felt and it started interfering with my life in a way that crippled me from doing virtually everything. I knew it was time to confront those feelings. My hope in sharing this is to be vulnerable with you as a way to connect and more so, to force myself to confront my feelings of discomfort when it comes to the subject of my own depression. Stay up. #youwont In this episode I discuss...- Why it's so easy to make excuses not to do things- My experience with depression- Why we stand in our own way- Feeling embarrassed - My insecurities - Not being afraid to admit I don't have it all figured out- Pressure of being on the national team- Why it's important not to get too attached to success
