Jack knocks on his estranged dad’s door to ask for money so he can afford a home to fit his growing family; Toby initially fights against it, but reluctantly opts for additional surgery to avoid more serious complications down the road. Randall fights tooth and nail to find a treatment to give William more time, but stops when he is truly able to hear what William wants, which is to stop chemo; and Kevin doesn’t feel passion in his relationship with Sloane, but stays because he believes it’s the right thing to do.
