You’re tired of guessing, right? Watching other people seem to “get it” while you’re stuck learning expensive lessons the slow way, hoping the next move isn’t the one that sets you back months. If you’ve ever thought, “I just need someone to tell me what actually matters,” this episode is for you, because it’s built around one idea: compressing years of business reality into minutes you can actually use. Omar shares how he went all in at 32 with no savings, no safety net, and zero proof it would work, then lived through the full ride of building, failing, winning, running multiple businesses at once, and landing an exit that changed everything. Instead of the usual fluff, he’s pulling from the moments that cost him the most and taught him the most, then squeezing those hard-earned takeaways into a tight 20-minute(~ish) listen. You’ll feel the weight behind what he’s saying, and it’ll make you rethink what you’ve been stressing about. If you want the fast-track version of what two decades in business can teach you, click play at the top of the page and get the “20-years-in-20-minutes” hit of perspective you didn’t know you needed. You’re not imagining it: online courses look like they’re “booming” everywhere you turn, but if you’ve got a course (or you’re thinking about building one), the numbers can feel painfully… not booming. You might be wondering if you missed the window, if your course is suddenly “too late,” or if you’re about to waste months on something the market already moved past. In this Q&A Wednesday episode, Omar tackles a question and breaks down why the signals feel so confusing right now. He explains what’s actually changing in online education, why the approach that used to work can suddenly feel like it’s falling flat, and what you need to pay attention to if you want your course business to keep working as the industry evolves. You’ll leave with clarity and a fresh way to think about where the real opportunity is today. If you want to stop guessing and make sure you’re not building a course the “old way,” click play at the top of the page and get a clear read on how to keep your course business alive and well, even as the landscape shifts. You’ve been told a hundred times that if you’re not starting a business, you’re falling behind. And yet the idea of ditching your paycheck for “the hustle” can feel equal parts exciting and terrifying. If you’re stuck in that spiral of “Should I build something or stay put?” this episode is going to feel uncomfortably relatable in the best way. Omar meets up with Ramit Sethi in Tokyo for an in-person interview, and it feels extra special because it’s not just a random sit-down. Omar’s been following Ramit’s work since the early blog days, so there’s real history and curiosity behind the questions. Together they get into when starting a business actually fits your personality and goals, and when the smarter move is building wealth through your career and long-term investing. You’ll also hear how both of them think about a “rich life” in a way that’s way more real than the usual internet noise. If you’re ready to stop guessing and start thinking like someone who’s serious about building a richer life, click play at the top of the page and hear what really separates “starting a business” from building real wealth your way. If you’ve been telling yourself you’ll relax and watch movies after the business “takes off,” this episode flips that thinking on its head. Because the truth is, if you watch with the right lens, a weekend movie can spark a decision that changes your business. Omar breaks down five movies that aren’t the usual entrepreneur picks, and he shows you the exact moments that hit different when you’re building something. It’s less about being entertained and more about what your brain starts noticing when money, momentum, and standards actually matter. You’ll hear why these films stick with founders long after the credits roll, and you’ll start seeing your own choices in a whole new way. Ready to turn movie night into a smarter way to grow and earn more? Click play at the top of the page and let Omar walk you through five films that can make you sharper where it counts. You might be deep in the build and still feel weirdly alone, like you are carrying every decision, every risk, and every late-night “is this even going to work” moment by yourself. And when people say, “Just find a cofounder,” it can sound like you are supposed to swipe through humans until the perfect partner shows up. This Q&A episode is sparked by a question from Craig: are you actually supposed to go hunting for a cofounder, or is there a smarter way to spot the right person already near you? Omar shares the real story behind how his cofounder came into his life over time, what made him see things differently, and the difference between trying to recruit someone versus recognizing a true partner when it is right in front of you. If you are ready to stop forcing the search and start getting clearer on what a real cofounder fit feels like, click play at the top of the page and take in this episode that could change how you think about building a business with the right person by your side. You know that tight feeling in your chest when you realize you have to “sell” something, even though you truly believe it helps people? You do not want to sound slick, pushy, or fake, so you hesitate, overthink it, and then wonder why your business feels stuck even when your offer is solid. In this episode, Omar gets real about how he used to avoid sales because he did not want to become that person who steamrolls everyone for a yes. He breaks down what he got wrong about selling, why so many well-meaning entrepreneurs struggle with it, and what finally clicked for him after watching his business pay the price. It is the kind of perspective shift that makes you rethink how you show up, without turning you into someone you do not recognize. Ever look up and realize you’ve been “working hard” for months, maybe years, but the finish line still feels weirdly far away? It’s frustrating when nothing is obviously wrong, yet progress keeps stalling, and it starts to mess with your confidence like maybe you’re the problem. In this episode, Omar breaks down the quiet, internal patterns that can sabotage success in business and life, especially the ones that sound reasonable in your head and feel easy to defend. Success doesn’t usually collapse overnight, it erodes quietly. Omar knows this from experience, and the lessons he’s learned come from years of running two businesses at once, thinking he had it all figured out… until reality proved otherwise. In this Q&A Wednesday episode, Omar answers James’s question about what really happens when you try to juggle multiple ventures. Drawing from a decade of running WebinarNinja and The $100 MBA side by side, he reveals the hidden “vampire effect” that drains focus, the costly mistakes that nearly derailed growth, and the pivotal lessons learned after selling one company to fully focus on the other. This is a transparent look at the silent killers of success - what they are, how they creep in, and what to do instead if you want your business to thrive. Hiring can feel like a gamble that costs way more than money. One bad decision can drain energy, slow momentum, and make you question your judgment as a leader. In this episode, Omar opens up about learning the hard lessons of hiring the hard way and why he finally decided to stop guessing and start getting intentional. He talks about the gap between hires who quietly hold a business back and the ones who elevate everything they touch. Instead of surface level advice, he shares how his mindset around recruiting changed after real consequences, and why a thoughtful process matters more than charm, resumes, or rushing a decision. Ready to stop rolling the dice and start building a team you can trust? Learn how Omar thinks about making hires that actually stick. For years, remote work was hailed as the future of business. But now, more and more CEOs are pulling their teams back into the office and not just because they miss water‑cooler chats. There’s a deeper reason behind the shift, and it might surprise you. This lesson gets right to the heart of why remote work isn’t always the game-changer it’s made out to be, especially for companies aiming to scale fast and innovate. Omar shares why he himself made the move from fully remote to opening a physical office, after 14 years of running remote companies. Drawing on research, experience, and lessons learned the hard way, he reveals the hidden friction that slows collaboration, erodes culture, and stalls growth when teams stay remote for too long. Big fan and listened to most of the episodes throughout the last 6 months. Blunt feedback: you don't sound like a real person anymore, but generic youtube clickbait format plus chatgpt stoccato phrasing. I understand you have to compete for eyeballs, but using the same ways as everybody else makes you seem unnatural. You do not sound like the podcast you, but like a youtube AI avatar. I frankly got the impression of hesitant voice when uttering: "the 5th method is the best". Best of luck!

No. Again, no. Audio and video, when intended as separate and different delivery methods by design, need not be combined. The message loses its value and the audience loses attention when mediums are combined.
