Real football talk...straight from The Players! With multiple episodes every week The Players Channel will provide unfiltered access to some of the biggest names in the game.

Don't worry, the Footballer's Football Podcast isn't going anywhere, with West Ham's Michail Antonio and Radio 1's Rickie Haywood-Williams, back for more weekly Premier League insider chat and plenty of laughs alongside a stellar cast of Premier League guests.

They will be joined on the channel by our brand new 'Football Firsts' podcast, with Jermain Defoe and Troy Deeney, discussing a range of topics revolving around the first time they experienced something in football. You don't want to miss it!

There will also be more podcasts fronted by current players coming to the feed soon.

And then the pair look at what happens when they transcend football and make the front of the paper, often for what would be classed as "the wrong reasons". Troy talks about how he embarrassed his family, whilst Jermain discusses what happens when the press try and deconstruct a footballer's private life on the front pages.

It's lights, camera, action as Troy Deeney and Jermain Defoe remember the first time they stepped away from the pitch to work as pundits. They talk about growing up as Match of the Day fans and discussing pundits they admired as both kids and as players, and who they enjoy listening to now. In episode seven, Troy and Jermain look back to the first time they were booed as players and how they dealt with fans being critical of their performances. Troy begins by reflecting on what Gianfranco Zola once told him: that only good players get booed, before the pair discuss what happens when fans boo, what sort of names they get called, and what players say back to angry away ends. And they get into the weeds on the types of fans and whether they like them and the differences between fans in a stadium and fans online. They challenge online fans to come to training and see how quickly they would collapse at a standard session.

Troy looks back at the disappointment of losing the 2013 Playoff Final against Crystal Palace and how unprepared his Watford side were for that game. Jermain discusses missing out on the Champions League with Tottenham because of a number of overnight illnesses in the camp, and the pair reflect on what happened when Jermain missed out on the World Cup squad. And the pair discuss the effect that negativity has had on their respective games, and how much the average fan would like to walk a day in the shoes of a professional footballer.
