We also manage to fit in some up-to-the-minute cultural references like Highlander 2, Axe body spray, as well as a discussion about disordered eating AND little people synchronicities.

Vulgar History is a feminist women's history comedy podcast. No history background is required to enjoy these historical-yet-fun tales of women from all eras in history, from ancient Egypt to 20th-century Hollywood. These are damsels in distress: we have talked about con artists, bank robbers, murders, and even serial killers. Yet even in the face of all this, the biggest villain in most episodes is the patriarchy.
Hosted by author Ann Foster, Vulgar History is as well-researched as it is irreverent

It's a mail episode and that means we have ghosts on a German army base, a disembodied voice on someone's microphone, hunting for haunting in a Yorkshire pub, plus a whole lot of kind word and random references to comic book movies. We love this job!

What high strangeness lurks in the dark corners of Germany? On this episode, we find out, thanks to our listener Tord-Henrik who has translated a number of German-language accounts of haunting for us! Not only do you get shadow people and phantom flames going back as far as
the 1830s, but Paul clues us in on the country's most famous case - 1967's Rosenheim Poltergeist.

In 2005, Sam and Dean Winchester set off on a road trip that would save the world and change television. In this episode we look at a curious sub-set of the popular cryptid and folkloric genre of lake monsters. There are lots of great stories out there driving people out of the water, and others flocking to it in hopes of seeing something more exciting than what the local Department of Natural resources is saying inhabit their waters. Can a relic species that supposedly died out 66 million years ago live in a lake built in 1972? Can mutations cause gigantic fish to attack recreators? How far can bull sharks travel up the Mississippi? We’ll dive into all this and more.

How awesome 3 of my favourite podcasters together.
Brennan the first time I went to Ikea in Sydney Australia I got lost and was getting into a state.. I think being in Ikea could be an excuse for not attending weddings funerals and any other major events..
the music and sound was nice not including the clip clops. clip clops. clip clops. clip clops why you angry clops clip clip clops why's yer eye twitchclops ingclip clip clops clip clops
the acting is not great, but made more apparent contrasting with the narration and sound. it's like whiplash from listening CRINGE immersing CRINGE ahhh narrator AHHHHhHh AH AHAH AH AC TOR
the narrator from nosleep who does so many (too many) audible narrations does caricature accents for all characters. Mrs doubtfires every female character, kids have to "Billy" mouth breathe and toddler lisp age 2 to 12. at 13 they get doubtfired or rooney-ed or sinister Chad or rooney-ed ( I stopped audible after witnessing barthelme short stories being slaughtered by these voices.
check it out!
great show! when Jim is on a fellow podcasters it's so fun and creepy!
I really enjoyed listening to the three of you chatting and exploring issues, great show.
You can't make friends as an adult. it's impossible. everyone has their friends from youth and college, etc. and as an adult you can't find anyone who wants anymore friends. those who are friendly aren't interested in anything deeper. they aren't going to be there for you in good times and bad. friendship is overrated. you don't need it.
Isn't the baby crying noise just a bobcat or cougar or something like that?
or maybe, the father and previous partner had a miscarriage and that spirit didn't want to be forgotten
"Bigfoot is an alien..." "NO HE'S NOT!!!!" 😂😂 Aww, poor Paul xx
"There's money to be made from this! Let's hope Baggins isn't listening!" Me..... "Why would Bilbo want a ghost podcast...?" 🤔 Ahhhh... Bagans.... 😂😂♥️ xxxxx
just added Evil Eye to my watch list!
