Hi Kate & Sophie , Have been an avid fan from day one. Brilliant informative info & the right amount of fun banter. Course you're witty Mrs SR!! Totally agree about the WHY does that room HAVE to be kitchen or sitting room chat. My Husband used to go mad because when my lot were Wee I had a habit to move all the rooms about all the time. Different bedrooms for diffrent kids.!! Still move furniture & pictures. Personally cannot stand the same stuff IN the same place. Looking forward to next podcast. Keep cool Peeps. ciao ciao Vintage Quine PS : I wanted one of those Loo's & that was the first generation type. But the Husband said NO!! Dang

Love the show, always worth tuning into - you have some really interesting guests and good tips. One question though: when you spoke about paint in your Style Surgery, you didn't mention off-gassing, the chemicals released by the paint into your home. Before lockdown I painted my kitchen with a Farrow & Ball paint and finished the job about 15mins before my children got home from school. They COULDN'T SMELL IT!!! I bought F&B because I loved the colour and the fact it was eco friendly - I'm now totally converted and feel that its definitely worth forking out for their paint, even though it's expensive, because it clearly doesn't release nasty chemicals into our homes. (& their Modern Emulsion paint scrubs up very well in my kitchen, even with the kids/hubby combo!)

I love this podcast, but I listen on my commute. Please can you link the book and stylist recommendations you have in the show notes. Where can we find them on socials or blogs? That would be a huge help! Thank you. I can't wait to buy Katie's new bookl

Love interiors and this podcast but the July 11 episode's bit on sustainability was tough to listen to as a millenial. I will probably live to experience the consequences of the unsustainable shopping culture of previous generations and it pains me to hear you say "most of us aren't going to stop shopping" as if it's a given and something that's alright. Don't #domoreharm by endorsing that lifestyle and by giving listeners the feeling that as long as we think a little about what we buy, we'll all be ok. My generation won't be ok. Time is running out and we are scared. If you want to be sustainable, buy less, only buy second hand or from local artesans and take care of your things. Rant over.

I’m a full time graphic designer and I’m starting my first interior design project for a hair salon. I’m thinking about possibly going to school for interior design. Would you recommend going back to school or trying to figure it out as I go because I already have a design background?
