His actual name is Tom, and he is very similar to our Tom, except that he is even better at geography, he lives a life of crazy adventures and he is one of the best in the world at the game 'Geoguessr'. He tells us about the time he nearly died in a peat bog, how he got arrested in Scotland during lockdown, and how he has successfully crossed Wales in a straight line on his fourth attempt... yes, that is as bonkers as it sounds. What does a mayor actually do apart from wear chains and cut ribbons? Well, when we were in Manchester for the tour, we met up with Andy Burnham, the mayor of Greater Manchester, and it turns out he doesn't actually do either of those things much. In this episode, we discuss how to make changes in a city, why it costs more to get the train to Manchester from London than to fly, and what Joe would do as the mayor of Heathfield.
