Emma Conway (brummymummyof2) grew up up in 90’s Birmingham. Dreaming of Take That, with a perm gone wrong and 10p in her purse in case she needed to call home. 30 years later her kids are becoming teenagers and it got her reflecting fondly those awkward years.


On The Phonebox Podcast each week a guest will call Emma from their local phonebox and chat about their own teenage years. Confessing weird crushes, favourite bands and fashion faux pas. Including the highs, the lows, the laughs and that all important first snog. Also how exactly did those tricky years shape who they became today? Shove on your walkman and take a trip down nostalgia lane.
